Two ways of implementation of real-time mathematical model of the pusher type furnace on real process are described in the paper. The first way is to use datalogger as a measuring system connected to the computer by use of serial communication. The second way is to connect the computer to industrial network system and to use NetBEUI protocol for Ethernet. V prispevku sta opisana dva načina vključitve matematičnega modela potisne peči na realni objekt za delovanje v realnem času. Prvi način je vključitev modela preko merilnega sistema - "dataloggerja", ki je povezan z računalnikom preko serijske komunikacije in zajema podatke direktno iz merilnih pretvornikov. A new method of calculation of the specific heat consumption and thermal efficiency of continuous reheating processes is shown. Using the example of a pusher-type-furnace, it is shown how both parameters of fuel efficiency utilisation may be calculated in real time. In this manner the dependency of the specific heat consumption as a function of the furnace throughput can be established for different operating conditions in a reasonable length of time. Prikazan je nov način ugotavljanja specifične porabe toplote in termičnega izkoristka za kontinuirne procese ogrevanja. Na primeru potisne peči je prikazano, kako izračunavamooba parametra učinkovitosti rabe kemijske energije goriva v realnem času. Na ta način je možno tudi v kratkem času ugotoviti odvisnost specifične porabe toplote od storilnosti peči za različne obratovalne pogoje. Nadaljuje se kot: Materiali in tehnologije
