The article presents information on the Standardized Usage Statistics Harvesting Initiative (SUSHI) computing standard. SUSHI is a standard that enables the Counting Online Usage of NeTworked Electronic Resources (COUNTER) usage reports to be retrieved, reformatted and exchanged between computer systems. It delivers COUNTER usage reports in extensive markup language format to a usage consolidation application on demand. The adoption of SUSHI helps reduce the time spent in collecting usage data and increase data quality and consistency.
