The article describes evidence-based librarianship (EBL) "an approach to information science that promotes the collection, interpretation, and integration of valid, important and applicable user-reported, librarian observed, and research derived evidence". It mentions that the collected evidence is then analyzed and applied to solve practical problems using a decision-making framework; and use of EBL requires that a driving question leads the process.
