National Institute of Aeronautics and Space of Indonesia is obliged to organize remote sensing data storage and distribution through National Remote Sensing Data Bank (BDPJN). BDPJN is a node of the remote sensing data network in a spatial national data network system. BDPJN has the primary function of collecting, storing, distributing metadata and remote sensing data for Indonesia territory. Evaluation of data operation management is needed to guarantee the continuity of the remote sensing data service at BDPJN. It has to ensure that: the catalog can be accessed by users, the catalog is continuously updated with data stored in the BDPJN storage system, and the data is available when needed. This research is purposed to evaluate data operation management on BDPJN. It is implemented by measuring the maturity level of data operations management activities using the CMMI and DMBOK frameworks. The results indicated that BDPJN has ten activities that have met an expected level of maturity. However, five of fifteen activities have below maturity level 3. Three activities at maturity level 1 are Monitor and Tune Database Performance, Plan for Data Retention, Archive, Retain, and Purge Data. The two others are Define the Data Technology Architecture and Evaluate Data Technology, which is at maturity level 2. Recommendations have been arranged based on references from DMBOK for these five activities.

In this paper a methodology is proposed to find the structural conformation of unknown proteins. As a case of study, the GPN-Loop GTPase (GPN) protein family was used. The sequence of the GPN proteins was obtained from the Universal Protein Resource data bank. After that the obtained sequence was introduced in the protein structure prediction system (version 3) to obtain the possible structure of these proteins under analysis. Python Molecular Software was used to model the structure of the proteins and identify their possible 3D conformation. Finally, with visualization and analysis tool for biological interaction data software show the interaction between the found proteins like an attempt to confirm the structural information proposed.

We propose a cloud-IoT architecture, called Data Bank, aiming at protecting users' sensitive data by allowing them to control which kind of data is transmitted by their devices and providing supportive tools for agreement visualisation and privacy-utility trade-off. The architecture consists of several layers, from IoT objects in the lower layer to web and mobile applications in the top layer, with regulated communication mechanisms to transfer data from the lower level to data processing services in the top level. We illustrate our proposal with an example in a smart vehicle environment.

COST Action entitled PEARL PV aims at analyzing data of monitored PV systems installed all over Europe to quantitatively evaluate the long-term performance and reliability of these PV systems. For this purpose, a data bank is being implemented that can contain vast amounts of data, which will enable systematic performance analyses in combination with simulations. This paper presents the development process of this data bank.

Fighting poverty is one of the main objectives of sustainable development program. In a country like Lebanon, where poverty is a real threat and hidden under a good living looking, the situation should be explored in depth. This paper aims to evaluate the position of Lebanon compared to other Middle East countries in sustainable development. Furthermore, our goal is to reveal the power and weaknesses of resources management, based on income and non-income indicators retrieved from World data bank. For this purpose, we adopted a combination of data mining techniques as tools to study the relationship between these indicators. The K-means clustering technique is used to define the different levels of living. In order to extract the most relevant non-income indicators to our study, information gain as feature selection technique was applied. Finally, KNN classification technique was used for the predicting model.

The Protein classification is an important activity in bioinformatics field. Several techniques have been developed to improve the categories prediction of unclassified protein that serves to predict its function. For this reason, we present a global framework inspired by the knowledge extraction process from biological data based on the association rules. This framework has three main steps: the pre-processing phase consists of extracting the descriptors, we used the N-Gram technique, The second one is devoted to extracting the association rules between the proteins components, we applied the Apriori algorithm; As a third step we selected the relevant rules to classified the unclassified protein. We have tested this classifier on five classes of protein, extracted from the uniprot data bank compared with five methods of classification in WEKA platform, based on the validation tools we obtained satisfied results improve the effectiveness of our protein classifier.

This paper consideres, proposes and describes possibilities and methods for using digital electronic technologies for transformation of classical banks into modern digital banks. Digital electronic technologies are widely used, including banking, bank operations and services as one of important sectors. Application of different types of digital technologies, including computers, computer networks, digital communication, Internet and information and communication technologies, with appropriate software, enables increasing speed, security and efficiency of all banking operations and services. It gives many benefits and advantages to the banks and to users of banking services. Way to use modern digital technologies to effectively transform classical financial data bank into digital data bank on the example of typical commercial/retail bank is proposed and described. It is also proposed organizational model of the digital bank. Advantages of using digital technologies and digital banks compared with classical banks are given.

Recent development in genomics technologies has revolutionized providing new opportunities for study of biological systems. Modern sequence data sets are large diverse fragmented which presents new challenges for analysis and interpretation. The rapidly increasing volume of data produced by new sequencing technology provide new opportunity for understanding human vertebrate genetics. This paper will give the information of reading the sequence form the NCBI data bank with help of command line in suitable software and give the idea of plotting the sequence for the further analysis of the sequence for finding the aliment in the structure for the further research work to be carried out.

Data mining involves discovering interesting patterns from large dataset to maximize the profit of the future business. Association rule mining is the main area in the field of data mining exploration with wide range of applications. Determining the frequent item-sets in large dataset is the core task of association rule mining and it is frequently used by business decision makers to improve their future business strategy. Numerous algorithms have been dedicated in the literature and tremendous progresses have been made to find frequent patterns. Most of the methods introduced in the literature find all frequent patters for all attributes in the dataset. We introduced TR-FCTM (Transaction Reduction-Frequent Count Table method) for the same. Even though this method outperformed than Apriori and FP-tree, the performance of that technique was reduced slowly when the total attributes in the data bank increases. Sometimes it is needed to catch all significant patterns for a few significant related attributes selected from total attributes in the data bank by the field expert to improve the business in future. So this IA-TJ-FGTT (Important Attributes-Transaction Joining-Frequency Gathering Table Technique) is proposed and its performance is compared with FP-tree. Experimental results of IA-TJ-FGTT shows that this technique outperforms than FP-tree.

A data bank can provide very useful information while mined properly.[27] In order to be optimally extracted, data mining can be done by observing capacity and characteristics of the data; so it can generates Knowledge Discovery in Databases as expected. For instance in Gene Bank, every single record of DNA, there are at least ten thousand sequences recorded. If the data is more than a hundred records, it will be a big sequence of data to be processed. Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) is a liver disease which can infect humans through blood. HCV infection can be asymptomatic, or it can be hepatitis acute, chronic, furthermore cirrhosis. Hepatitis C is generally does not show symptoms in the early stages. About 75 percent people with hepatitis C did not realize that they had infected until liver damage years later. Therefore needed a sequences DNA Mining is needed to analyse the DNA history whether it is infected by HCV or not. This study compares several methods of string matching to discover which methods have the best performance in processing DNA mining. In addition, this study also analyzed DNA HCV genetic mutations trend as a Knowledege Discovery in Database in DNA mining.

This study describes an approach to building a clinical data bank on the basis of a standardized clinical process model. A clinical data bank is considered as a repository of clinical cases, which is medical knowledge reflecting both up-to-date and retrospective medical data. In view of the case-based nature of the decision making process in medicine, a clinical data bank can be used in clinical processes to make diagnosis and treatment decisions. The study discusses the following issues: a) choosing an approach to modeling a clinical process; b) completeness of the model; c) medical data standardization and normalization; d) plain medical text mining; d) big medical data analysis. The study also looks at metric-based methods of searching for relevant clinical cases in the data bank.

The noninvasive fetal electrocardiogram (ECG) data available from Physionet data bank are suitable for developing fetal heart rate (FHR) detection algorithms. The data have been collected from single subject with a broad range of gestation weeks, and have a total data length of more than 9 hours arranged in 55 data sets. However, there are three additional data features which are currently not directly available from Physionet to facilitate the easy usage of these data: (1) the fetal peak visibility evaluation, (2) the gestation week, and (3) the data length. This article presents an improvement to the data bank by providing the additional features. The required pre-processing of the data is also discussed. This new data features are presented in bar graphs, and were used to assist the authors' two data channels-based FHR detection algorithm development. This detection scheme uses only one thoracic channel and one abdominal channel from this six Physionet data channels. The discussed data features and the data pre-processing would also be useful for researchers intending to use other channels combinations of the Physionet data.

In the present paper, we have introduced a model for statistical designing a subsystem for communication in satellites. The most prominent aspects of this work are its accuracy, which is more than 96%, and the high rate of design. It should be mentioned that we have employed some statistical software programs such as SPSS in analyzing the collected data bank information. The model evaluation has been conducted through solving a sample problem. This procedure increases the performance rate, avoids wasting energy, and reduces the costs.

In this paper we accustom software for designing rolling-contact bearing with the name CASBYC. For designing this software we use many programming languages like visual basic, C and MATLAB. For the advantage of this software we can mention on the data bank. Because many company exiting which produce rolling-contact bearing and all of them had their own standard for designing ,We use information from SKF company which is the biggest company in world, even we can found information about special roll bearing and ball bearing .Further more using of the latest information from SKF (published 2009) make its data bank more complete . The other advantages of this software is simple environment which can be simple and can use it for a wide range of users include students, professors, designers and craftsmen .More over this software can taking initial data from users like ball bearing or roll bearing force .it can compute requirement life, inside diameter and then advise it to users with all detail. On the other hand this software is having a rapid and accurate compute which is cause improvement of quality of designing and decrease factor of safety.

The analysis of structural and energy features of proteins can be a key to understand how proteins work and interact to each other in cellular reactions. Potential energy is a function of atomic positions in a protein structure. The distributions of energy over each atom in protein structures can be very supportive for the studies of the complex processes proteins are involved in. Energy profiles contain distributions of different potential energies in protein molecular structures. Therefore, they constitute a full descriptor of energy properties for protein structures. The Energy Distribution Data Bank (EDB, http://edb.aei.polsl.pl) stores energy profiles for protein molecular structures retrieved from the well-known Protein Data Bank. In the paper, we describe the purpose of the EDB, a possible use of the information stored in it, query possibilities, and plans for future development.

Designing of integrated databank and analysis of environmental evidence is a very important item for agriculture research. Data bank of Iranian crops (wheat and barely) is a analytical software for major aphid in Iran plateau. The advantage shows the influence of rain in alterations and changing the percentage of aphid group in wheat field and the scales of distribution(Iranian province). This the first databank for investigate and study for aphid in Iran.

The structural frame for a computer databank of spoken German and its integration into basic and applied phonetic research has been developed at Kiel University in Germany (IPDS) and is continually being filled with segmentally and prosodically labelled data from read and spontaneous speech recordings. In future more diverse types of spontaneous interactions will be included in the Kiel Corpus. The range of phonetic analyses will be extended, also to include prosodic variables and comparisons of speaking styles. Databank analyses will provide rules for connected speech processes, which in turn will assist in the development of automatic segmentation and labelling procedures. Finally, this phonetic databank concept can be extended to other languages to initiate large scale multilingual phonetic comparisons.

The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) has completed its initial development of the worldwide Ocean-Temperature Temporal-Variability Model as part of its general ocean climatology program and as an adjunct to its centralized compilation of oceanographic data. The development of a temporal variability model to match the resolution of the Navy's standard climatologies (nominally a 30' grid, but sometimes as fine a resolution as a 10' grid) was beset by many problems, the most serious being the scarcity of data, data quality, and removal of spatial variability. Since individual editing of the more than 4 million vertical profiles in NAVOCEANO's data bank is unrealistic, semi-automated techniques were employed. Spatial variability was estimated using the Navy's standard temperature climatology, the Generalized Digital Environmental Model. These estimates were used to allow the sampling space to increase in regions of low spatial variability and to decrease in areas of high spatial variability, resulting in realistic estimates of variability. As new data are added to the master data bank, the variability model will be used to tag anomalous data for further editing and ultimately used to make periodic updates to the variability model itself.

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Underwater Acoustic Data Bank (NAVDAB) was initiated to provide an appropriate data base for development and validation of sonar perfomance prediction models. The main data bank was installed at the Naval Undersea Center with branches at the Naval Underwater Systems Center and the Naval Oceanographic Office. NAVDAB is administered, under NAVSEA direction, by a Steering Group made up of Navy Laboratory representatives. Initial entries consist primarily of propagation loss data with supporting environmental information, but NAVDAB will include ambient noise, bottom loss, scattering strength, and other appropriate data categories. Access to NAVDAB, either for entry or retrieval of data is through the main bank or one of the branches. Access is available to any DOD activity and to others with a need to know certified by NAVSEA Code SEA-06H1.

The Research and Management Shoreline (RAMS) Data Bank contains information relative to physical alterations of the shoreline and nearshore areas of Chesapeake Bay for which permits have been granted by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore and Norfolk Districts. The RAMS Data Bank is designed to provide information to persons making recommendations or decisions at the local, state or federal level relative to subjects such as land use planning, fish and wildlife management, and wetlands utilization. An IBM Model 360-91 Computer utilizing the IBM Generalized Information System stores the data and makes it available to regulatory and advisory agencies. In addition to the basic query capabilities, a capability to graphically display information contained in the data bank has been developed. A wide variety of map scales is available, and any of the information contained in the data base can be superimposed on a map printout.
