We are in the midst of a technological revolution. Technology can be used in education systems to improve productivity and to provide many benefits for students. In Saudi Arabia the adoption of e-learning is considered to be in the first stage, although some universities have introduced initiatives to implement electronic learning platforms. The Shaqra University has recently been implementing an e-learning Platform. Consequently, the goals of the study were: (i) to measure the readiness of students to use the e-learning platform in Shaqra University; and (ii) to measure the differentiate between gender and usage experience affected the readiness of student in using the e-learning platform. The results of a questionnaire distributed among students to collect data show that the students in Shaqra University have a sufficient degree of readiness to use the e-learning platform and have some skills that will assist them to use the platform effectively. The results also showed a non-significant difference between males and females in their readiness regarding technology access, study skills and motivation. However, female students” readiness in relation to technology skills and time management skills was significantly greater than that of male students. In relation to technology access, study skills, time management skills, technology skills and motivation, a significant difference in readiness also existed between students who had experienced e-learning and those who had not, with readiness being stronger for all factors in the experienced student group. The results of this study may assist top management in Shaqra University to make decisions that will facilitate the successful implementation of this project.

The research publications related to biomedical domain are increasing and a huge information is concealed in it. Most of these information are available in the unstructured format and it is not available in ready-to-use format for further experiments and analysis. Several techniques and features of Information Extraction (IE) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) in Text Mining (TM) are used in the field of biomedical domain. The main purpose of this paper is to review the various research works / practices which are being carried out, especially in the Biomedical Named Entity Recognition (BioNER) domain. Application of NLP in BioNER helps to extract knowledge on various entities like drug, disease, chemical, cell, gene, protein, etc. In this paper, a survey on BioNER which includes traditional rule-based methods, statistical Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) has been carried out to get key insights on research works in this area. This review proves that the DL models took over statistical ML and rule-based systems and proved to be the state-of-the-art in various perspectives.

IoT is a short form for Internet of Things, which is being called the technological revolution because it is going to change the future of communications and computing drastically. The Internet of Things of things makes it easier for humans to interact with computers and learn a wide variety of services like actuators and sensors which are used to collect information, services, and various other sources of objects that are connected to the internet. This is all possible due to Radio Frequency Identification System (RFID) which helps machines and computers to do the above mentioned operations through the help of radio waves. RFID are inserted into a lot of devices along with sensors which play a vital role in IoT. Sensor technology helps in detecting external data. It can be said that if one were to understand the importance of IOT systems in the modern era, which molds the cyber world and the physical world together, then it will forever change the way humans interact with smart objects.

The prevailing quality, sustainability, smartening, and usability in the world are the key challenges of today's advanced technological revolution. Through innovation and development, the Internet of Things has connected artefacts and provided the world with exemplary authenticity. Because of the convergence of multi-technologies, machine learning, embedded systems, real-time analytics, and commodity sensors, Internet of Things technology is synonymous with the concept of an “Intelligent Environment”. Wireless computer networks are some disseminated or resolution sensors that observe corporeal or environmental states; to acclaim temperature, sound, moisture, pressure, and so on; and to hand in glove transmit their information through the network to the most remote site. This article discusses about the philosophy used for smartening environmental observance with the implementation of various wireless sensor networks.

Since the rapid development of Internet has brought an unprecedented translation technological revolution, traditional business translation teaching model can not meet the needs of business translation talents under the new technology. On the basis of summarizing the characteristics and application of crowdsourcing translation mode, this paper constructs the “Network collaborative” business translation practical teaching model based on information technology in higher vocational colleges in China. Empirical study results show that the application of “Network collaborative” model enhanced and improved the efficiency and quality of students' business translation practice to a great extent. Finally, this paper puts forward that the teaching reform of business English translation course should make full use of information technology, enhance the practical teaching in translation practice, and pay attention to the training of high-qualified professional translators.

The new technological revolution represented by artificial intelligence technology has greatly changed the face of the world and brought great convenience to human life and work. But at the same time, the widespread use of artificial intelligence technology in various fields has also brought a series of problems and caused many ethical dilemmas. Through typology analysis and case analysis, this article combs the ethical dilemmas caused by artificial intelligence in a variety of typical scenarios from the perspectives of human alienation, privacy issues, injustice, and responsibility attribution, and then proposes countermeasures. It is believed that the ethical construction of artificial intelligence should be emphasized. The first is to integrate technology and humanities to enhance the moral and ethical sense of RD the second is to establish ethical norms and clarify the ethical rules of artificial intelligence; the third is to improve laws and regulations and strengthen legal supervision.

With the outbreak of the new technological revolution cross-border e-commerce came into being, building a new way for enterprises to export goods, a trade method that binds commodity trade with Internet information technology to form a convenient and open trade system and achieve trade interconnection of global economies. Many Chinese enterprises participate in cross-border e-commerce exports, but their export marketing strategies have drawbacks, and their marketing targeting and precision are not high, which hinder Chinese cross-border e-commerce enterprises from carrying out international marketing. In the context of big data, cross-border e-merchants can use collected data to establish a customer database, build a customer portrait model through machine learning technology, and use personalized recommendation systems to realize accurate marketing with two-way customer interaction. To address the problems in cross-border e-commerce marketing in the context of big data, this paper studies the user behavior data generated by cross-border e-commerce. Based on a large amount of low-value density behavioral data of cross-border e-commerce consumers, this paper designs a cross-border e-commerce precision marketing system applicable to processing user behavioral data, and provides a reference for those who are engaged in cross-border e-commerce.

The electric vehicle EV is one of the solutions recommended by the vehicle manufacturers and research organizations to reduce noise pollution, fuel consumption, real time and time execution for tasks in networking EV. The transport and mobility sector has for more than a decade seen a fundamental change in its organization due to a double technological revolution and use a new forms of mobility. This motion has profound consequences on the relationship that citizens maintain with mobility. It also proposes a physical platform able to perform a form of platooning using Artificial Intelligence (AI) with scheduler to create platoons with miniature vehicle. Platform called Autonomous Learning Intelligent Vehicles is the association of multiple physical cars coupled with an infrastructure, which handles the data of every single car and makes decisions based on the augmented environmental. In this solution, we present tracking and detection of EVs in parking or in station. So, we change communications EVs, giving priority to charging demands over other types of sms lower priority messages. Finally, we propose an efficient admission control mechanism to manage EVs traffic and to provide quality of Service to charging demand messages in terms of strict delay to avoid both a long latency of EV users and a network overload in high offered load conditions.

The rapid development of science and technology such as multimedia technology has offered a better tool to explore the new teaching method. This paper aims to analyze the use of technology to English language teaching in the non-native speaking countries and to bring out the problems faced by both teachers and learners of English. Multimedia teaching method has been used in college English teaching wider and wider. It has contributed a lot to higher teaching quality. Chalk and Talk teaching method is not enough to teach English effectively. There should change in the methodology of teaching and free from all kind of biasism. Not only that a teacher must have the quality of adapting himself/herself to the new technological revolution by incorporating it into teaching practices. By analyzing the definition and research status of “double-qualified and double-able” teachers at home and abroad, this paper puts forward the conception of “5C” competence model of “double-qualified and double-able” teachers for the first time, and expounds its connotation and relevant relationship. Finally, this paper makes a preliminary exploration on how to cultivate the “5C” ability of “double-qualified” teachers.

Today, e-learning and the social web are immersed in a process of change and evolution, caused mainly by the social, cultural and technological revolution that we are experiencing. The latter is even more intense than the rest, since for many it is considered a catalyst for the rest and its speed of change is greater in all senses. Among the changes that it brings with it, we can highlight the use of communication technologies as an active and constant means of change, being the Web 2.0 one of the most relevant aspects. Although there is no definition as such, Web 2.0 can be understood as all those websites that facilitate the sharing of information, interoperability, user-centered design, as well as collaboration on the network, coming to understand this concept as the social web. However, the novelty of the concept and its rapid evolution makes it difficult to identify and analyze the main lines of research that exist. This situation can be understood as an opportunity, if we consider that the domain of e-learning and Web 2.0 will allow us to have a greater projection at an international level and a better understanding of its application. Taking into account this opportunity, the present article proposes the analysis of the main research lines of e-learning and Web 2.0, the definition of its intellectual structure and the identification of the most productive and referent authors, as well as the organizations and countries that support these, among other aspects. To this end, bibliometric techniques and tools will be used to easily analyze the publications available in the main databases, establishing a reference framework for professionals, academics and organizations on the use of e-learning and Web 2.0, its challenges and opportunities from a holistic perspective.

The technological revolution of the past few decades has brought about some future inventions. Technological breakthroughs are largely driven by information revolution: Internet connects the world, and mobile computing makes this kind of connection become ubiquitous. This revolution makes users’ lives more convenient and smart. Smart products are becoming more and more popular, and smart speaker is considered as the entrance for people to step into smart life. With the support of smart technology, thanks to its special functions being different from that of traditional speaker, it attracts more and more people’s attention, and is especially pursued and loved by technology lovers and young people. The research summarizes 12 related factors affecting consumer’s purchase of smart speaker with the method of literature analysis combining with user survey. It uses decision-making laboratory method to analyze and study 40 pcs of online and offline questionnaire data and draws cause-and-effect diagram. The finally obtained three main factors affecting consumers’ purchase of smart speaker are price factor, brand factor, and function factor; It clarifies the relationship among the relevant factors greatly affecting consumers’ purchase of smart speaker, and further analyzes the problems existing in the product innovation design of smart speaker, thus putting forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions for seeking the breakthrough point in product innovation design.

Human society is witnessing a wave of machine learning(ML) driven by dep learning techniques, bringing a technological revolution for human production and life. In some specific fields, ML achieved or even surpassed human-level performance. However, most previous machine learning theories have not considered the open and even adversarial environments, and the security and privacy issues are gradually rising. Besides of insecure code implementations, blased models, adversarial examples, sensor spoofing can also lead to security risks, which are hard to be discovered by traditional security analysis tools. This talk reviews previous works on ML system security and privacy, revealing potential security and privacy risks. Firstly, we introduce a threat model of ML systems, including attack surfaces, attach capabilitiesand attack goals. Second, we analyze security risks and countermeasures in terms of four critical components in ML systems: data input (sensor), data preprocessing, machine learning model and output. Finally, we discuss future research trends on the security of ML systems. The aim si to arise the attention of the computer security society and the ML society on security and privacy of ML systems, and so that they can work together to unlock ML's potential to build a bright future.

The technological revolution of the Internet of Things (IoT) increased the number of objects (e.g., vehicles) connected to the Internet, making our lives easier, safer, and smarter. Putting IoT objects on the wheel has created a new technology called the Internet of Vehicle (IoV). The massive progress in communication and computing concepts brought the IoV to real implementation. The IoV is the advanced version of Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET), mainly designed to provide safe driving. Although the number of vehicles connected to the IoV keeps growing, there are various challenges and opportunities of the IoV technology that are still not clear. In this paper, several research papers related to the IoV were examined to identify and categorize the existing challenges of implementing and employing IoV in urban cities. Furthermore, this work outlines the IoV technical limitations that must be addressed. Moreover, various existing and future solutions that tackle the identified challenges were briefly discussed.

Stock price is usually regarded as an index reflecting the basic value of an enterprise, and its fluctuations is contributed by many factors. However, violent fluctuations of stock price may confuse people's value judgment and decision-making, especially for technology-based enterprises in era of new technological revolution. A systemic framework is demonstrated to explore the joint effect of multiple factors which trigger the abnormal fluctuation of stock price. One of Listed Companies on GEM of China is selected for case study based on the method of fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA). The result shows that technology & management is a slow variable in China, and the changes of Chinese stock market are mainly affected by policy and speculation, which is the main causes of stock price bubbles. Therefore, future research can be carried out to proving the servitude effect of technology & management on stock price.

Artificial intelligence is a bellwether of today’s new technological revolution. As a branch of artificial intelligence, machine learning faces two main problems in practical application: 1) data owned by most enterprises are difficult to aggregate; and, 2) big data owners pay more and more attention to data privacy and security, which leads to the problem of data island. Federated learning (FL), as a distributed FL paradigm, which can enable all parties to achieve the purpose of co-building models while ensuring data privacy and exposure, provides a possible solution to the mentioned problems of machine learning. The FL takes full advantage of participants’ data and computing power and builds a more robust machine learning model without sharing the data. In an environment with strict data regulation, the FL can effectively solve the key problems, such as those related to data privacy and data rights. However, most of the existing FL-based frameworks do not pay attention to the impact of data source distribution on FL training. Therefore, this paper proposed a data-oriented FL framework called the Federated AI Engine(FAE), which can solve FL problems without leaving the data in control. The proposed framework provides a method that can be used to verify FL quickly for researchers who intend to try federal learning.

Generally, the human body provides information about its health regularly. However, data is available throughout devices that measure or detect amounts and variations in particular areas of the body. To improve the health of patients, health professionals use the principles of medical decision-making in diagnosis and management. Globally, obesity and Cardio diseases impact the quality of life significantly, especially among the elderly. In addition to sensor design and IoT, the emerging technological revolution is expected to offer new applications in internal/external health monitoring that can make a significant contribution to human health and wellbeing. During this decade, technological advances have overgrown in many fields of research. IoT is a recent development that has significant impacts, including sports, education, business, and the environment, in all aspects of our lives. In healthcare, IoT has a great future in remote management of patients. The accuracy of early diagnosis and treatment is aimed to improve through the recognition of early diagnosis markers and the actual rate of screening. In a new sense, the progressive system of the heart, the modifications to diagnose it, and effective treatment to slow it down.

The internet of things is a rapidly expanding paradigm which is fundamentally altering the way in which we interact with technology. A range of new services are enabled by this technological revolution, one of which is the task of activity recognition from performing classification on sensed information, which is an area of research related to assisted living. The ability to reliably sense the environment is a crucial aspect of this application area, which has, to date, been prone to error and poor data quality. Therefore, it is essential that we are able to identify potentially anomalous data before it can have a serious effect in the application domain and evoke dangerous consequences. This work presents a novel Markov-based technique for detecting anomalous sensor events in constrained Internet of Things environments. Results from the experiment found a recall score of 97.9% and an F-measure of 92.0%, which represents a promising step forward in this research direction.

Advances in the scientific and technological revolution have engendered the spurt development of smart health care system (SHS). In SHS, Patients' location in-formation is transmitted to the designated medical service provider by sensors and wearables attached to patients' bodies for professional and quality assessment. The location information combined with time slot can disclose patients' sensitive privacy, including mental status, sensitive location, financial circum-stance. Thus, it demands our devoted attention and instant action to protect patient's location privacy, especially sensitive locations in SHS. In the privacy mechanisms based on location anonymizer, they are vulnerable to suffer collusion attacks and subjected to essentially compromise. In this paper, an adaptive dummy-based mechanism is proposed to preserve patients' sensitive locations, consisting of dual strategies, which are considering the direct distance between the generated false trajectories and the sensitive positions and weighing the sensitive locations. Extensive experiments are implemented to evaluate performance. The validity and feasibility of our proposed approach in protecting sensitive locations are indicated by simulation consequences compared with existing methods.

With the rapid development of modern social economy, big data, artificial intelligence, block chain, cloud technology and other science and technology industries have penetrated into all sectors of society. The application of big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and other information technologies in enterprises has changed traditional enterprise models and promoted the formation of new business management models. Based on this background, the purpose of this paper is to provide a new thinking mode for enterprises with artificial intelligence technology, and to promote enterprises to transform from quantitative development to qualitative development. On the basis of traditional enterprises, this paper introduces advanced artificial intelligence technology to enhance the innovation ability of enterprises, and combines literature research method and case analysis method to design the scheme of promoting enterprise innovation by artificial intelligence technology from the perspective of theory and practice. The research results of this paper show that artificial intelligence is a strategic opportunity brought by the technological revolution. Under the guidance of artificial intelligence technology, the production efficiency of enterprises can be increased by 56% and the business opportunity of 30% increment can be brought, thus achieving the expected goal of bringing innovation and vitality to enterprises.

The rapid development of artificial intelligence urgently needs the timely follow-up of artificial intelligence education. The level of artificial intelligence education determines the position of a country in the new round of scientific and technological revolution in the world, which is of great significance. Constructing the first-mover advantage of the development of artificial intelligence in my country by strengthening artificial intelligence education has become an urgent problem to be considered and solved. To examine the future development of artificial intelligence education from the perspective of discipline construction has both theoretical value and practical significance, and is more practically feasible. In view of the knowledge characteristics and development status of artificial intelligence education, this article proposes a practical path to promote the future development of artificial intelligence education from the four levels of planning discipline layout, perfecting discipline establishment system, building academic community, and cultivating discipline culture.

IoT (Internet of Things) is the new technological revolution that enables the high connectivity of intelligent objects or devices both to each other or/and to humans. However, the major difficulty found in the use of this IoT technology is the lack of networking reference architectures and standards for this new paradigm. Moreover, security and privacy protection are foremost important issue to gain trust of IoT users. In this paper, we firstly present a comparative study of IoT security architectures previously proposed in the literature, then we investigate different works done in the field, based on the CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability) and the associated algorithms. The last part of this paper is devoted to study the proposed distributed model in order to face the IoT access control problems using the XACML language.

The report considers the training of specialists for the development of modern energy equipment: the requirements to the competence of such specialists within the realities of the fourth technological revolution, methodological approaches to practice-oriented training and the application of modern software products. The features of the fourth technological order ('Industry 4.0'), requirements to equipment developers and the structure of the competence model of such specialists are under review. The report also reviews the experience of the National Research University "MPEI" in organization of master's final qualification works within the framework of participation in real projects on energy equipment manufacturing.

For this reason, this paper puts forward a three-level progressive training model of cross-border e-commerce innovation and entrepreneurship talents under the background of industry education integration, industry university cooperation and collaborative education.

Big data is another subversive technological revolution in the IT industry after cloud computing and the Internet of things. At present, many native Internet enterprises have made a lot of achievements in some aspects by using big data technology. For example,ByteDance,a news application, uses big data technology to accurately portray users to achieve personalized news push; Tencent and Alibaba use the same technology to analyze the audience and package new advertising products called "programmed advertising'Mn 2009, publishing companies like The Guardian, The Economist, and the New York Times, and other internationally renowned publications began to explore big data news, and made significant achievements in using digital technology to expand the newspaper industry. In China, the newspaper industry tries to improve the effect of media communication by strengthening the creation of a comprehensive database and exploring the integration and development of new media. This paper will sort out the process of information development in the newspaper industry and the application of big data and new technology in news creation.

Traditional method of guarding by human beings (for example soldiers) is a laborious task, which can be leveraged through exploiting the technological revolution of electronics. Accordingly, in this paper, we present design and development of a new portable electronic firing system that can facilitate the task of guarding. Our system features remote control firing in addition to its portability. Moreover, it incorporates the notion of zeroing that is yet to be focused for electronic firing systems in the literature. Another aspect that is also yet to be focused in the literature in this regard is user-level testing. We perform user-level testing of our developed electronic firing system in test-bed settings that adopt a toy pistol as the firing device. We compare performance of our developed system with that of professional human firers. Our experimental results demonstrate that performance of firing by our developed system is better than that of the professional firers. Nonetheless, we analyze how the performance of our developed system will be in real cases as per the correlations between the professional firers' performances in our test-bed and in real cases.

Major technologies such as robotics, digital manufacturing, reinforcement learning, and brain-like computing are reshaping manufacturing technology systems. This paper proposes a sustainable intelligent manufacturing technology system, which is autonomous and controllable. This structure runs through the enterprise equipment layer, control layer and management layer, greatly enhances product innovation capability, and promotes manufacturing to the high end.

Maritime transport is the main mode of transport used for the intercontinental transit of freights. Since the mid-sixties, and as international trade has developed, several types of ships have appeared. This plurality is an asset in that shippers can find the vessel that best suits the port infrastructure and the type of goods to be transported. Today with the technological revolution, most projects and studies seek to automate these different types of vessels in order to have a remotely controlled or autonomous vessel. Indeed, the automation of this mode of transport has as many advantages as limits given the sensitive sector. In this article, the different types of vessels are analyzed according to four axes: network and navigation, logistics, safety and environment in order to determine the most likely vessels to be autonomous.
