4. The Swarm Absolute Scalar Magnetometer magnetic cleanliness program.

Abstract

The Swarm mission selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) as the 3rd Opportunity mission of the Earth Explorer Program will operate a constellation of three satellites dedicated to the most advanced survey of the Earth's magnetic field and its temporal evolution. The magnetic payload aboard each satellite will consist of a Vector Field Magnetometer (VFM) developed by the Danish National Space Center and an Absolute Scalar Magnetometer (ASM) [1] developed by CEA-LETI in partnership with CNES. This instrument shall provide scalar measurements of the magnetic field for the calibration of the fluxgate vector instrument. As a consequence, its accuracy is crucial for the mission's success, and all the parameters affecting it have been consequently thoroughly investigated. This paper focuses on the magnetic cleanliness program that has been implemented throughout the ASM development phases to guarantee its conformity with the performance requirements, from the instrument's design and manufacture to its final qualification tests. 12. The Outsourcing as a lever Propulsora entrepreneurship in Creating Small Business: A Case Study.

Abstract

This article is based on a case study with the objective to characterize the entrepreneurial behavior of a outsourced small company businessman in the telecommunications industry. To achieve this goal we carried out a literature review on outsourcing and entrepreneurship. The privatization of the telecommunications sector in the nineties in Brazil, global competition among dealers of these services, the core business focus as a trend in business administration, rationalization and specialization of companies, and the rise of outsourcing economy as a keyword in the pursuance for increased profitability and reduced costs, have meant that telecommunications service providers outsource much of their services, especially those relating to sales and installation of products and services. This is the context where the small business developed from the businessman entrepreneurial vision. The behavior of the investigated entrepreneur was identified through the application of an opened question interview with qualitative approach. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
