The star polygon patch with concentric circular slot DGS for WLAN and WiMAX applications. The circular slot DGS is introduced at ground plane to improve the impedance bandwidth, high gain. The proposed antenna operate at three different frequencies are 3.6 GHz, 5.5 GHz and 7 GHz with 10 dB return losses are −16.02 dB, −18.80 dB and −21.50 dB. The co polarization and cross polarization (XP) are observed and XP are found at is 0°, −22 dB(xz plane) and −26 dB (yz plane) at is 90° for3.6 GHz. The radiation patterns are observed at is 0° and is 90° in xz and yz plane for three resonance bands. The co and cross polarization has presented and cross polarization is found below 20 dB at one plane of each angle and operating frequency. The simulation results of maximum gain is 7.42 dB at 3.6 GHz of proposed antenna.

This paper presents the control of a hybrid energy storage system performance for electric vehicle application. The hybrid energy storage system helps to enhance the life of battery by reducing the peak power demand using an auxiliary energy storage system (AES) based on super capacitor and a bidirectional buck-boost converter. Further, the performance of an electric vehicle in various environments like acceleration, regenerative braking and normal speed of operation are simulated using the Saber RD software. The LabVIEW interfaced with Arduino controller is used to analyze the prototype hybrid energy storage system. The simulation results showed that the proposed hybrid energy storage system helps to decrease the peak power demand up to 54% from the battery system. The experimental results are presented, validating the simulation results.

In this paper, we have developed a probabilistic approach using PLSA for the discovery and analysis of contextual keyword relevance based on the distribution of keywords across a training text corpus. We have shown experimentally, the flexibility of this approach in classifying keywords into different domains based on their context. We have developed a prototype system that allows us to project keyword queries on the loaded PLSA model and returns keywords that are closely correlated. The keyword query is vectorized using the PLSA model in the reduce aspect space and correlation is derived by calculating a dot product. We also discuss the parameters that control PLSA performance including a) number of aspects, b) number of EM iterations c) weighting functions on TDM (pre-weighting). We have estimated the quality through computation of precision-recall scores. We have presented our experiments on PLSA application towards document classification.
