Nowadays, multi-view clustering has attracted more and more attention, which provides a way to partition multi-view data into their corresponding clusters. Previous studies assume that each data instance appears in all views. However, in real-world applications, it is common that each view may contain some missing data instances, resulting in incomplete multi-view data. To address the incomplete multi-view clustering problem, we will propose an auto-weighted incomplete multi-view clustering method in this paper, which learns a common representation of the instances and an affinity matrix of the learned representation simultaneously in a unified framework. Learning the affinity matrix of the representation guides to learn a more discriminative and compact consensus representation for clustering. Moreover, by considering the impact of the significance of different views, an adaptive weighting strategy is designed to measure the importance of each view. An efficient iterative algorithm is proposed to optimize the objective function. Experimental results on various real-world datasets show that the proposed method can improve the clustering performance in comparison with the state-of-the-art methods in most cases.

This paper is mainly concerned with the issues of two kinds of synchronization for a class of hyperchaotic systems, i.e., complete synchronization, and coexistence of synchronization and anti-synchronization. Two adaptive control laws with suitable state feedbacks are designed to realize the complete synchronization, and coexistence of synchronization and anti-synchronization for such hyperchaotic systems, and simple yet generic criteria for determining two issues of synchronization are derived throughout our analysis procedures, respectively. It is demonstrated that the approaches developed here further extend the ideas and techniques presented in existing literature, and so they are also convenient to implement in practice. Furthermore, an application toward a secure communication scheme based on coupled hyperchaotic systems is presented. Finally, numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the correctness and the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

This paper investigates the coexistence of anti-synchronization and synchronization in the unified chaotic systems. First, an algorithm is proposed to select what variables in the master system which can anti-synchronize the corresponding variables in the slave system. Then, several control strategy is presented to guarantee coexistence of synchronization and anti-synchronization in the unified chaotic system. Finally, numerical simulations verify the correctness and the effectiveness of the proposed results.

This paper investigates the control, synchronization and coexistence of synchronization and anti-synchronization of a novel hyperchaotic finance chaotic system. For the above problems, three simple controllers with single variable are proposed to solve them. In comparison with the existing results, the obtained controllers in this paper are simpler than those. Numerical simulations verify the correctness and the effectiveness of the proposed results.

Geostationary Doppler weather radar (GDWR), which is a novel and challenging instrument concept, can provide reflectivity profiles and Doppler dynamic information of meteorological targets over a circular disk coverage of approximately 5300km in diameter on the earth. In this paper, we estimate the mean Doppler radial velocity and Doppler spectrum width of GDWR, which have not been studied in the literature. We first calculate the relevant GDWR system parameters, and then investigate the accuracy of the mean Doppler radial velocity and Doppler spectrum width measurements using discrete Fourier transform and pulse pair methods. Simulation results show that the estimation performance is limited by the large normalized spectrum width of the echo when there is wind shear in the radar resolution volume. Proposals of improving the accuracy of the mean Doppler radial velocity and Doppler spectrum width estimates are also suggested.

The HY-2A satellite was first launched in August of 2011, the microwave scatterometer as one of the main loads, is primarily applied in sea surface wind observation. HY-2A scatterometer used two pencil beam conical scan system, and the radar worked in Ku band. The characteristics of scatterometer are tested in laboratory used the Echo Wave simulator and function validation are performed by airborne experiment. System composition and main performance requirements are presented in this paper, and airborne experiment validation scheme and its results are also introduced. On-orbit test results show that expected measurement requirements are achieved.

Network splitting requires novel routing scheme different from traditional storage and forwarding manner. In the split wireless sensor networks, message ferrying method can be introduced to provide normal communication for network within tolerable delay. The definition of network delay and packet loss rate in such routing protocol was brought out. The computation method of indexes was also provided. Simulation experiment addresses to the effect of transmission rate and node cache space on average network delay and packet loss rate. Simulation results show that transmission rate of nodes and ferry can enlarge delay, while cache space can reduce packet loss rate.

The growth of data used by data-intensive computations has out-paced the growth of the power of a single processor. In this paper, we propose a high performance and scalability workflow engine, a lightweight parallel and distributed computing platform based on HADOOP and OSGI. Workflow engine provides flexible and scalable OSGI-based interfaces which user can implement to define data processing functions and expand functions in HADOOP ecosystem. Workflow engine consists of invoking interfaces, scheduler engine, optimizer and fault-tolerance manager. Given a workflow process, the engine analyzes data dependencies among nodes, then dispatches them to Map Reduce clusters based on the current status of the system. This paper also describes the design and strategy in detail on implementation processes, key points, relationships of each participants and etc. Our experiment demonstrates that workflow engine can significantly improve the performance of workflow execution.

In the relay-trading mode of wireless cognitive radio networks the secondary user (SU) can achieve a promised spectrum access opportunity by relaying for the primary user (PU). How to utilize the exchanged resource efficiently and fairly is an interesting and practical problem. In this paper we proposed a cooperative spectrum sharing strategy (RT-CSS) for the relay-trading mode from the fairness view. The cooperative SUs are gathered in a cooperative sharing group (CSG), and contribution metric (CM) is proposed to measure each CSG member's contribution to CSG as well as benefit from CSG. The adjustment of CM can guarantee the fairness and efficiency of spectrum sharing. The numerical simulation shows that RT-CSS can achieve better performance than the sense-uncooperative mode.

According to the lower efficiency and larger wind direction errors in the nadir region of the swath, a new combined wind retrieval algorithm is proposed for conically scanning scatterometer in this paper. The presented algorithm has the dual advantages of both higher efficiency and higher wind direction retrieval accuracy by combining the wind speed standard deviation algorithm and the wind direction interval retrieval(DIR) algorithm. It adopts wind speed standard deviation as criterion for searching possible wind vector solutions and retrieves potential wind direction interval for the first and second ambiguities based on the change rate of the wind speed standard deviation. Some SeaWinds L2A data and collocated buoy data were used to validate the algorithm. Retrieval experiments indicated that the algorithm can significantly reduce the wind direction retrieval errors in the nadir region.

MapReduce emerges as a popular programming model for data-intensive scalable computing. As one of core components, task schedule comes to be a very hot topic in recent studies. However, the computing on fault-tolerant applications has not been covered yet. In the paper, we at first point out the importance of fault-tolerant computing and propose a novel model to find out an optimal task allocation scheme, which allows us to obtain the optimal job availability. To analyze the properties of task allocation, we proof several theorems and evaluate them with analysis and experiments. Our experiments show that the reduction of job unavailability by our method is about one order of magnitude as compared to the systematical allocation.

Spectrum trading is the promising method to improve spectrum efficiency from the perspective of economics. In this paper we propose a queueing-theory based spectrum trading model, where the primary user plays the server role providing spectrum to the secondary user who acts as the customer. The most significant challenge is how to optimize the spectrum trading model considering the server uncertainty which includes service state, service time, service area, service content and service price. We design a STACP queueing model according to the server attributes, so that the secondary user can choose the right queue quickly and reasonably according to its demand. Moreover, we further analyze the optimizing strategies for STACP model which can maximize the profit of the primary user and minimize the service cost of the secondary user. The simulation results demonstrate the analysis results.

For “ vast population and limited land “ status in China, location of public service facilities, which is highly related to people's vital interest, is paid more attention to. The traditional public service facilities location method can be divided into continuous location method and discrete location method. However, there are much problems exist in the two methods. In order to improve the location method, a new analysis method based on GIS grid method is proposed in this paper. The new model combines the advantages of raster analysis and vector analysis. Location of Huanghua Middle School in Hebe province in China is taken as an instance to show the analysis process and result of the new method. As a result of the experiment, the case study confirms the feasibility of the new method.

This paper has studied on stress-strain model for CFRP confined preloaded concrete square column. And the influencing factor has been analyzed in it. Referring the former research, this text has determined a model curve of parabola and straight line. The peak stress and strain has also been computed by regression. Further the expression of stress-strain model for CFRP confined preloaded concrete was deserved. Because the preload has been considered in the expression, it is more closer to the real engineering.

In this paper, we draw Local Binary Pattern (LBP) and main color descriptor into content-based video indexing and retrieval. LBP is a powerful texture descriptor for its tolerance against illumination changes and its computational simplicity. Main color descriptor is used for representing main color distribution of the image. We propose a simplified LBP (S-LBP) operator as the texture descriptor. In most cases, texture distributions that ignore the actual positions or spatial arrangement in the image are not sufficient for representing an image. Therefore, we use zigzag based Run-length coding principle to produce S-LBP patterns histogram. Then we apply the combination of S-LBP feature and main color descriptor to represent an image in video retrieval. The experiment that to retrieval which video a given frame comes from demonstrates the combination method is efficient and effective.

Computational aeroacoustics (CAA) has emerged as a tool to complement theoretical and experimental approaches for robust and accurate prediction of sound levels from aircraft airframes and engines. CAA, unlike computational fluid dynamics (CFD), involves the accurate prediction of small-amplitude acoustic fluctuations and their correct propagation to the far field. In that respect, CAA poses significant challenges for researchers because the computational scheme should have high accuracy, good spectral resolution, and low dispersion and diffusion errors. A high-order compact finite difference scheme, which is implicit in space, can be used for such simulations because it fulfills the requirements for CAA. Usually, this method is parallelized using a transposition scheme; however, that approach has a high communication overhead. In this paper, we discuss the use of a parallel tridiagonal linear system solver based on the truncated SPIKE algorithm for reducing the communication overhead in our large eddy simulations. We report experimental results collected on two parallel computing platforms.

Local Binary Pattern (LBP) is a powerful texture descriptor for its tolerance against illumination changes and its computational simplicity. The basic LBP encodes 256 feature patterns in a 3×3 neighborhood, but not all the patterns are effective for classification. In this paper, we propose a simplified LBP(S-LBP) which produces optimal patterns by using the best coding principle for classification. Meanwhile, we combine S-LBP and Mahalonobis distance in solving the practical problem of character recognition in Chinese license plate. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our method for vehicle license recognition comparing with other popular methods.

Experiments and theoretical analysis demonstrate that the polarimetric scatterometer has the potential in enhancing the accuracy of the wind vector retrieval. However, currently, there is no special wind vector retrieval algorithm for the polarimetric scatterometer. Based on the distribution characteristic of the objective function, a modified wind vector retrieval algorithm was designed for the conically scanning polarimetric scatterometer in this paper. Simulation experiments indicated that this algorithm could further improve the retrieval precision of the polarimetric scatterometer in comparison with the traditional algorithm, especially in the nadir- and outer-swath. By extending the wind direction range for the first and second ambiguity in the nadir- and outer-swath, the algorithm can effectively reduce the uncertainty of the wind direction solutions with error magnitude of 0° to 15°. Up to 2° improvement in wind direction retrieval can be achieved in the nadir track.

Frequent channel-switching will bring many problems such as delay, packet loss and communication cost. To mitigate the influence of these problems, it is necessary to reduce the channel-switching times. After reviewing the prior works about spectrum allocation we propose a LAGSA (Learning Automata based Global Spectrum Allocation) algorithm in this paper. It can give guidance to the next allocation process by using the information obtained from the historical data transmission results. By the simulation we have discussed the relationship between algorithm astringency and spectrum idle probability, learning pace respectively. Comparing with Greedy allocation algorithm, fixed allocation algorithm and random allocation algorithm in terms of average successful transmission ratio and channel-switching times, AIGOSA has obvious advantage for improving the global spectrum utilization ratio.

With the rapid development of grid technology, studies on building web spatial analysis functions under grid environment have become the research hotspot of GIS. To implement complex geo-processing functions, it may need to integrate several different GIS service, which is usually distributed in different computer. Grid GIS provides a highly interactive and cooperative mechanism in implementing and integrating the geospatial service. This paper first briefly introduces the most important part in building Grid service-WSRF, then give an example to illustrate how Grid enabled GIS service can bring higher efficiency and make GIS service more cooperative than traditional GIS service.

Spatial Grid provides a well solution to effective sharing of geographically dispersed spatial data. Various distributed spatial task processing like query can be achieved upon it. To support task allocation in Spatial Grid, effective and reliable spatial grid catalogue should be developed since it provides resource distribution information. This paper proposes a novel relation model based spatial grid catalogue. Design and implementation details for constructing our proposed spatial grid catalogue are discussed. Practical experiments also reveal the relation model based spatial grid catalogue can effectively discover appropriate grid resources and help make better spatial task allocation.

The dynamics and structural character of a-syn12 peptide complex with synphilin-1 protein in aqueous solution has been investigated through molecular dynamics simulations by using GROMOS 43A1 force field. The structural character of a-syn12 peptide complex with synphilin-1 protein adopts in water a loop structure.

By analyzing the various technologies, considering the network development and full use of network resources, the conclusion is gotten that the access side should combine network with 2/3G and Wi-Fi technology. Among them, 2/3G mobile network is mainly used to achieve wide-area coverage, and Wi-Fi network is used to the hot areas with high bandwidth demand for complementary coverage. Also, the core network is researched by several methods using SIM, Web and WAPI.

Computer Support Collaborative Work (CSCW) leads to many changes in the field of education and training. Aim at the problems of high expense, fixed training sites, restricted trainee number or time that existed in the widely used simulation system for using it to execute training in the field of education and training, the paper researched on the construction of Virtual Collaborative Training Environment (VCTE) based on CSCW and combined with technologies of Agent, Web, VR, Computer Support Collaborative Learning (CSCL) and etc. The concept of VCTE was defined, and then architecture of VCTE was constructed. The typical application with VCTE was also analyzed. The VCTE constructed in the paper is practical, migratory and flexible as well as high cost performance.

Reasonable and effective communication simulation model is an important basic constitutes of joint operations simulation. The communication delay computation of the communication model is the prerequisite of high-level operational simulation. Combing with the high-level, complex communication network types and structure characteristics of joint operations simulation system, the paper put forward the communication model for joint operations simulation, which can build dynamic network topology structure of different resolution according to application requirements and compute communication delay in real time based on it. The delay computation method is simple and reasonable, which is suitable to various simulation systems of joint operations level.

To evaluate radio communication network (RCN) organization and application is the foundation of efficient use of radio communications to organize data and voice communications. At present, it is a more effective method to evaluate network performance by simulation technology. Based on the simulation technology and operational evaluation theory, the paper researched on the qualitative and quantitative evaluation problem of RCN organization and application. The basic idea to construct RCN organization and application simulation evaluation system was brought out. The static evaluation and dynamic evaluation methods were also designed, which provides solution schema for the simulation-based static and dynamic evaluation. The research lays good foundation for the realization of RCN organization and application simulation evaluation system.

This paper introduces a new kind of embedded Web server system based on SX52 communication controllers, and describes software and hardware design for the system. Aims at the characteristic of embedded application; it simplifies the TCP/IP protocol and provides a kind of "thin server" solution, which combines the B/S module and C/S module. The paper also introduces how to perform the main functions of the system.

The dynamics and structural character of a-syn12 peptide in aqueous solution at high pH has been investigated through temperature replica exchange molecular dynamics simulations by using GROMOS 43A1 force field. The isolated a-syn12 peptide adopts in water an a-helix structure at high pH. These results are distinct from other amyloid disease protein at neutral pH.

ZmPP2C was a protein phosphatase 2C gene that we cloned from maize roots. It is an important type of protein phosphatase family. AlignX is a software which can compare homology of many proteins or nucleic acids and search homologous fragments or different bases in high similarity sequences. This paper makes use of the AlignX program to visualize and analyze DNA sequences of ZmPP2C comparing with other protein phosphatase 2C from Arabidopsis and other plants. Based on the AlignX program, we map the phyligenetic trees and analyse them. The conclusion shows that ZmPP2C has high homology with MPC9 from Mesembryanthemum crystallinum Linn (ice plant). And in another phylogenetic analysis of ZmPP2C and all PP2Cs from Arabidopsis thaliana (Arabidopsis), ZmPP2C has high homology with Group F, which was classified by enzyme-catalyzed region.

Based on modeling simulation and computer technologies, communication countermeasure training simulation mainly establish communication countermeasure environment that constituted by various models and pressing close to real warfare, which provides condition for personnel to improve the capability of communication countermeasure and anti-jamming. Aimed at this and based on the analysis of the overall objective of communication countermeasure system, the paper expatiate the basic functions of the system in detail and then design the system infrastructure based on High Level Architecture (HLA). Finally, the system implementation is provided from two aspects of logic structure and software class structure. The research provides an overall solution for the communication countermeasure training simulation system.
