Time and labor consuming, complexity of invoice inspection, as well as difficulty in curbing invoice crimes are emerging challenges in the process of invoicing management which need to be addressed. In this paper, based on the actuality of our Country, a novel tax-control network invoice machine management platform (TNIMMP) is presented, it utilizes the technology of computer and network communication, enables tax authorities collect and administrate taxation details effectively, and assists taxpayers accomplish critical taxation processes without going to the tax bureau. The TNIMMP system reached the goal of remote controlling and administrating the network invoice machines. This paper describes the Client/Server architecture of the TNIMMP system, which based on a cluster of servers. The function design of our TNIMMP system is focused on invoice application and time-limited invoice submit. And a detailed analysis of characteristics of the TNIMMP system was illustrated, compared with current taxation systems, the TNIMMP system can be used to monitor and administrate the invoice, and curb the invoice criminals. And it helps realize “controlling taxation by invoices” to “controlling taxation by information”. And extraordinary attention to the high-reliability and high-performance of our TNIMMP system are given, so as to address the problem of stable operation and high-concurrency access.

IFPUG is a widely used functional size measurement method, but when applied in embedded software project, the measurement results and the actual sizes have big deviations. The paper finds that functional types with low complexity of embedded software is relatively large, so proposes to refine and adjust the low level part of complexity matrix. Measure the same software projects based on adjusted complexity matrix, the deviation of measurement results reduced from 24%∼73.4% to 3.8%∼38.8%, and the average deviation reduced from 45.7% to 12.8%.

Due to the low-level image features it utilizes, the semantic gap problem is hard to bridge and performance of CBIR systems is still far away from users' expectation. Image annotation, region-based image retrieval and relevance feedback are three main approaches for narrowing the "semantic gap". In this paper, recent development in these fields are reviewed and some future directions are proposed in the end.

In this paper, a blindness method using an extended filter in Gabor space for removing the text labeled by users in an image is proposed. In order to eliminate the text region, firstly, the features of an image are calculated in Gabor space, and then Gabor filter with different directions and frequencies are applied to the images. Since Gabor filter allows us to obtain channels in different scales and angles, and the relationship of different channels is a core factor which used in calculating coefficients to find possible labeled area because that in contrast to the original image, these channels in Gabor space can present the characteristics of text regions well, so the presented algorithm can remove the text area effectively. To demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the method, the experiments on the real-world images from a large number of webpage demonstrate are presented in the last.

Shadow elimination is critical for robust and reliable pattern recognition in vision system. Because cast shadows have most motion features as the moving objects, it is difficult to eliminate it. This paper presents a novel moving cast shadow elimination method. Different from traditional methods which only consider algebra translation in shadow modeling, this method introduces a method from the point of view points in high dimensional space. Firstly, we use special kernels to generate some image points from original image; then the most similar one which has little shadow affection is found; lastly, an adjustment method is proposed to further eliminate shadow in image from the point of view high dimensional space. The experiments demonstrate shadow region can be eliminated quite well.

The adjustment of the industrial structure in metropolis emergency water source reserve correlates the safety of drinking water. The industrial agglomeration is an important basis for the adjustment of the industrial structure and layout. Taking the manufacturing industries in Pinggu District, Beijing City as an example, and using three indicators, which are the industrial location quotient, the industrial location Gini coefficient and the industrial concentration index, this paper has made the quantitative analysis of the status of industrial agglomeration. Accordingly, some related countermeasures on the industrial layout adjustment are proposed.
