With the amount of data being created now, it has become very important to analyze this data and make useful deductions from it. The enormous mass of data causes an information overload for the user and searching for relevant and useful data has become very tough. In this paper, we propose GUP, a system that unifies multiples sources of data which explore the different kinds relationships between enterprise, universities, and academia around the world into one centralized framework, which can then be analyzed using cloud cognitive services, that offer smarter, self-service capabilities so systems can quickly and identify insight, to find meaningful relations between universities and corporate employees which are then visualized for better understanding. The challenges to developing such a system is the wide variety of data sources to consider and finding optimal methods of aggregating them. The key contributions of this paper include:i.Data Collection: Aggregate all known data sourcesii.Data Analysis: Analyze this Data to make meaningful conclusionsiii.Data Visualization: Present the data in an easy to understand manner in the form of visualizations.

A loading cell for impact tests was constructed by using a D2 steel in conjunction with an arrangement of strain gages connected to a Wheatstone bridge. The sensor was attached to a vertical impact machine to evaluate the force and the time during the impact of a 6061-T651 aluminum alloy. A three-dimension finite element model was performed using explicit dynamic conditions (ANSYS-LSDYNA). The results from simulations were compared with those obtained experimentally

However, microservices architecture approach also introduces a lot of new complexity and requires application developers a certain level of maturity in order to confidently apply the architectural style. Docker has been a disruptive technology which changes the way applications are being developed and distributed. With a lot of advantages, Docker is a very good fit to implementing microservices architecture. In this paper we will discuss about how Docker can effectively help in leveraging mircoservices architecture with a real working model as a case study.

In the age of the Internet of Things, use of Smartwatch devices in the enterprise is evolving rapidly and many companies are exploring, adopting and researching the use of these devices in the Enterprise IT (Information Technology). The biggest challenge presented to an organization is understanding how to integrate these devices with the back end systems, building the data correlation and analytics while ensuring the security of the overall systems. The core objective of this paper is to provide a brief overview of such security challenges and data exposures to be considered. The research effort focuses on three key questions: 1. Data: how will we integrate these data streams into of physical world instrumentation with all of our existing data? 2. Security: how can pervasive sensing and analytics systems preserve and protect user security? 3. Usability: what hardware and software systems will make developing new intelligent and secure Smartwatch applications as easy as a modern web application? This area of research is in the early stages and through this paper we attempt to bring different views on how data, security and usability is important for Enterprise IT to adopt this type of Internet of Things (IoT) device in the Enterprise.

In current networked organizations, the rise of mobile devices has become not just a nice-to-have, but is now necessary and expected by users. It is no longer feasible for most organizations to simply reject access to mobile devices; instead, they must now look towards crafting policies and technologies to manage their presence and also protect internal resources. Commonly, most network resource actions are controlled largely via the username and password pair. This may suffice in closed, relatively limited environments. However, this paradigm is largely incompatible with mobile technologies, with issues such as user friendliness problems, bleeding of security mechanisms into personally owned equipment, and an all-or-nothing access model. In this paper we discuss the shortcomings of the user/password access model, and describe our experiences in alternative access systems with an eye to mobile device presence. We describe methods for a passwordless activation and authorization systems, application design patterns that account for mobile-specific security concerns, and a more nuanced, fine-grained trust system to ensure badly behaved mobile devices are limited in the damage they can cause.

The act of taking notes is second nature to most people in the business and academic world where note-taking can play a variety of important roles such as aiding memory recall of events, idea capture, problem solving or visualization of complex systems and concepts through the use of diagrams or sketches. Whilst the traditional paper based form of note-taking is sufficient in most cases and actually superior in others to digital note-taking, the digital form does have some compelling advantages including the ability to search through notes, back them up, have ubiquitous access to them and augment them with captured digital media. Implementing these digital enhancements presents a challenge especially when combined with a requirement to provide a highly secure storage environment to protect confidential notes. In this paper we describe an architecture that provides these features whilst maintaining a high level of scalability and security through the use of cloud based services.

The primary focus of this paper is to outline the evolution of mobile technologies and the adoption of these technologies in the IT industry. The paper explores how mobile is used and how it impacts our daily lives. Mobile technology has evolved over a decade, and with smart devices, its applicability and usage has increased drastically, for both personal and business use. Mobile provides increasingly fast access to back-end data sources. The Cloud Computing Environment (CCE) enhances the capabilities of mobile environments, while promoting innovation for next generation mobile technologies. CCE also provides analytics, elastic and scalable environments, secure composable mobile services, rapid application development, and deployment with reduced resources and lower operational costs. With these advanced capabilities, stakeholders are looking for mobile applications that are born on the Cloud. In addition, this paper also describes the challenges a data center could face when implementing a secure mobile infrastructure in a CCE, with lessons learned from actual case studies.

With the moving of mobile to the mainstream of the organization, the need is also transformed into mobile landscape. Fast, Real-time are two responding levels have been being pursued in building up such collaborative solutions now even more critical because mobile users tend to require a sense of immediacy, for employees to work with each other as well as with customers, partners to effectively convey information. In this paper we would discuss the architectural proposal for the problem with an experimented use case of building up a virtual Whiteboard solution with the involvement of HTML5, Hybrid mobile app approach and Node.JS.

Cyber security threats and vulnerabilities are as prevalent today as ever. Security should be designed and built into programs from day one. There are many code analysis and scanners available, but few offer a data visualization view, and little has been written about leveraging data analytics and visualization for the improvement of security posture across a code base. Analyzing large enterprise projects results in both massive data consumed and reported. The need to visualize this data for security, softSecVis, is very real. We examine prior findings, prototypes, and current tools used in software security visualization at the code level. We go on to propose several new methods of visualizing security vulnerabilities.

Mobile devices have become ubiquitous in today's technology-enabled organization. Not only have they become commonplace, many business practices have not only matured to support mobile interaction, but embraced it at all levels, culminating in a rising “mobile first” philosophy throughout the organization. With this rise in mobile presence, however, comes significant challenges. The rise of “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) brings new requirements on organizations, including new approaches to security, data protection and information flows. It no longer suffices to craft organizational policies and procedures around wholly-owned corporate devices; today's security policy makers must craft more flexible and dynamic systems that can support privately- owned devices. Here in this paper, we discuss the many different factors and considerations that go into approaching security for mobile devices in an organization, not just from existing technologies, but to our experience in putting these models to use in the enterprise. We talk about not only high-level techniques, such as encryption and identity/authorization, but also of new and developing security approaches surrounding the mobile ecosystem. We will show examples of our own experiments in novel security approaches, and discuss our successes and failures in the course of bringing our organizational security.

Voice is a very compelling natural interface for mobile computing devices. However, mobile operating system speech solutions (e.g., Siri, Google Voice Search) are platform-specific, making their integration within an enterprise environment difficult due to the lack of uniformity in the user experience as well as concerns over privacy and confidentiality. Hybrid apps can overcome these enterprise-specific challenges by allowing for fast deployment of functionality that is accessible across mobile platforms and enabling secure containerization of resources. But such hybrid apps often encounter significant performance slowdown due to the overheads associated with cross-platform compatibility and security. In this paper, we introduce a new secure mobile voice agent for enterprise voice interface applications on mobile devices that overcomes these issues. The proposed voice agent architecture enables confidentiality, enterprise integration, good cross-platform performance, and easy portability to multiple mobile platforms (such as Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, and Blackberry). Our approach avoids the need to manage multiple native speech engines across mobile OS platforms, reducing the time to deploy cross-platform voice interface solutions, and ensuring a cohesive user experience. In addition to describing the architecture and design of our mobile voice agent, we also provide a comparative analysis of its performance on various contemporary mobile computing platforms.

With the rise of mobile technology, modern organizations are encountering rapidly evolving demands to their communications and data infrastructure. The "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) approach places significant new demands on how enterprises approach security, device management, crossplatform support and data distribution. Mobile devices are powerful, lightweight and rapidly supplanting classical computing systems like desktop and notebook computers. Here we discuss a framework which unifies numerous heterogenous devices and their software ecosystems into a single flexible platform for enterprise device management and message dissemination. This framework provides a foundation that considers the myriad security, connectivity and energy implications that are far different from "classical" enterprise system. We discuss the experiences and considerations used in the design of this framework, and why such a unified, flexible approach is necessary for the present and approaching demands of enterprise security, timeliness and accessibility.

An agile, lightweight, but secure extensible hybrid application container and deployment mechanism for mobile devices has the potential to provide improved cross platform support, reduced development lifecycle time and a consistent application security model within large organizations. We demonstrate how such an architecture can provide a set of security and mobile device management interfaces to lightweight applications written in a high level markup and scripting language and also how these applications can be provisioned via push or pull mechanisms to an Enterprise user's device. The use of such a container for hybrid applications widens the potential support and development resource within an organization to employees possessing readily available skill sets, this permits mission critical applications to be developed in a much shorter time frame than with native mobile application deployment methods.

There are several dementias but Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is leading cause of dementia in the world. In this paper, a new methodology for classification of MR images is proposed, using a large data base (more than one thousand patient). We have two main objectives in this paper: a first one where a classification method is developed to classify MR images as either normal or with the Alzheimer's disease and a second which is the ambitious goal of this study, the identification and classification between normal subjects, MCI patients and AD patients. It is noteworthy that with this last study we could offer a tool to assist the early diagnosis of dementia.
