From ancient to modern world stories are used to build meaning and to communicate. The use of new technology in education system has increased worldwide. Along with technology advancement children of this century have various mode of interaction for learning, listening, interpreting and thinking. Storytelling in class room has seen development by unifying ancient art of telling stories with multimedia and variety of tools. Information technology has positive effects in educational context. The educational policy of Pakistan has acknowledged the importance of information technology in schools learning and teaching process. This study describes the effectiveness of digital storytelling with comparison to traditional and digital learning process of students at primary schools. This study uses multiple qualitative research methods including interviews with teachers, class room observation and interviews with children. The finding of research suggest that digital storytelling has potential to be used successfully as meaning full approach with this cohort. Research findings have also explored the implications of implementation of digital storytelling in class rooms.
