Land record that preserve the positional accuracy is an absolute objective in cadastral implementation. To achieve that, Department of Surveying and Mapping Malaysia (DSMM) has taken drastic decision by transforming the adjustment procedure from traditional approach (i.e. Bowditch) to the most rigorous procedure (i.e. least square adjustment). However, homogenous precisions as stated in DSMM circular are not align with fundamental principle of least square adjustment (LSA). In LSA implementation, there is a knowledge known as stochastic modeling used to derive the realistic variance. With determination to verify the significance of the realistic variance, this study has designed two assessments which focus on positional errors and sensitivity towards outliers. The artificial errors have been introduced in cadastral dataset, both homogenous and realistic variance were exploited in LSA computation. Through positional accuracy examination, minor advantage has been demonstrated by the outcomes of realistic variance. The conclusion can be made when homogenous variances manage to passed the global test but failed to identify the outliers (artificial errors) in the dataset. To preserve the positional accuracy of land record, realistic variance is a crucial requirement in cadastral network adjustment.

Code reuse is a practice that may both support and hinder the learning process of programming students. To help offset the negative impacts of code reuse, many educators rely on code similarity detection tools as a first step in detecting code plagiarism. An alternative approach, often applied in parallel, is to help deter plagiarism by teaching students the importance of referencing externally sourced code. However, there are no broadly accepted standards for referencing in programming. We have found one standard proposed in the literature, and in this paper we explain the design of a system to help programmers apply that standard. The system we will build is a semi-automated code comment generation system that will rely on a code clone detection approach for detecting similarities between the student’s code and the code at a website whose URL the student provides. This will assist the user to create appropriate references, in the form of inline comments, when they reuse code from websites or other sources. This work in progress paper explores the relevant literature, explains the design choices of the system and the plan for its evaluation, and presents a progress report on the work.

When dealing with academic integrity in programming, code similarity detectors are often used to raise suspicion of student programs with undue similarity. However, it appears that only detectors designed for that purpose are discussed in computing education publications, although similarity detectors for other purposes might also be beneficial, both to foster research and to avoid ‘reinventing the wheel’. This paper maps similarity detectors used to identify code clones, repeated code segments in a software system, to the classifications used for academic integrity purposes. It will help academic integrity researchers to understand code clone similarity detectors and to read papers from that area. While there are other reviews of code clone detection, ours should be easier for computing educators to read as it uses the terminologies of academic integrity.

PT Artajasa Pembayaran Elektronis is a pioneer in the electronic transaction market in Indonesia, with a mission to provide effective and efficient electronic transaction services. PT Artajasa Pembayaran Elektronis must understand the diverse needs of partners and customers. For this reason, staff are required to be able to share training and special consultations for management team mentoring to their partners. To be able to improve service to partners requires knowledge and experience of employees so that knowledge is not lost, knowledge management is needed to convey, capture, create, and carry out the sharing process. However, based on previous studies, not many organizations have successfully implemented knowledge management, including this company, so it is necessary to measure the level of readiness (knowledge management readiness). This study aims to assess the readiness of PT Artajasa Pembayaran Elektronis in implementing knowledge management. The method used to assess the level of readiness is by mapping the critical success factors of knowledge management (KMCSF) and mapping the knowledge management infrastructure into the aspects of knowledge management (abstract, soft and hard). The results showed that PT Artajasa Pembayaran Elektronis got a score of 74.82 out of 100 points, it can be concluded that the organization is representative for implementing knowledge management, especially for abilities and expertise.

Fault current limiter (FCL) is a novel approach in protecting equipment from excessive fault current. In this paper, the whole implementation process of FCL devices is presented. There are two families of modern FCL technology, namely superconducting FCL (SFCL) and pre-saturated core FCL (PCFCL), each with its own techno-economic characteristics. The advantages and disadvantages of each technology will be explored and be compared with the conventional current limiting device, i.e. series reactor. Sizing and calculation processes, as well as design criteria of each equipment, will be presented. We hypothesized that series reactor as the cheapest current-limiter device would be able to mitigate the fault current problem while maintaining the system’s reliability and efficiency. This hypothesis is based on our observation that in West Java 150 kV system, large fault current flows through bus-tie. On the other hand, no significant current flow through bus-tie was observed in normal condition. Lastly, we present the challenges and lessons learned in implementing FCL from a design project executed together by PLN Enjiniring and PLN TJBB in West Java 150 kV transmission network.

This paper describes the process of designing odometry and heading controls from a differential steering wheeled mobile robot (DSWMR). The odometry system aims to estimate the position relative to the initial position of the robot to estimate changes in position from time to time in the trajectory tracking process. The problem that often arises in the tracking problem is the heading error that can be caused by a slip on the robot wheel or an irregularity between the speed of the DC motor on the robot wheel. Heading errors in DSWR can be obtained with the help of a rotary encoder located on a DC motor. This work applied PID control to obtain the heading error close to 0 degrees on the odometry system for trajectory tracking. It works by controlling the rotating speed of each DC motor on the robot wheel. The results of the PID control parameters implemented on the DSWMR were obtained from the results of tuning experiments.

Antenatal Care (ANC) service performed by midwives in Primary Health Care (PHC) became more efficient through mobile health (mHealth) implementation. However, no work has yet been conducted toward the development of the technologies for integrating the service since midwives provide not only in-house clinic service but also community works such as home visit and site clinic. The objective of the study was to design a mobile health application using user-centered needs approach to consider the functionality and usability of the users. We conducted a case study in South Tangerang, an urban city of Banten Province, Indonesia using in-depth interview for prospective users and collected usability testing of mock-up mobile application through System Usability Scale (SUS) among 20 respondents. Functional features were identified namely: 1) pregnancy register such as personal identity, spouse identity, and ANC content, 2) pregnancy monitoring such as high-risk pregnancy, diagnosis, and maternal status. As conclusion, this is the first study to design a mobile Health for integrating ANC service based on UCD framework. The study indicates that UCD is found as useful guidance for designing a monitoring and registration mHealth application named SIMORI for integrating ANC service in primary health care.

Weather and climate are the main factors that are very influential in the activities of human life. The profile measurement of air pressure, temperature, humidity, horizontal wind direction speed and other information related to weather observations in the vertical structure of the atmospheric is essential for the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG). Therefore, it is compulsory to implement a tool to measure the vertical profile of the atmosphere and greenhouse gases (GHG) in real-time in Indonesia. The tool will assist the observation of climate parameters in each area so that weather forecasting can be more efficient to be conducted in various locations. In this study, authors had developed a method to measure the vertical profile of the atmosphere and greenhouse gases in real-time. The proposed method of this research has several parameters, namely air temperature, humidity, air pressure, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide. The design of the capacity platform will be tested at the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency. The results of the measurement conducted at BMKG are still within the tolerance limits of the average deviation of the measurement of the weather parameters set by the World Meteorological Organization (No.8 of 2006), which are 0.2 °C for air temperatures, 0, 3 hPa (mbar) for air pressure and 3 % of humidity.

This paper presents the modelling steps of balancing bicopter for its roll movement in a rigorous way. This research uses delta speed between two rotors as an input while the roll angle obtained from an inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor after refined by a complementary filter (CF) considered as an output. The single input and single output (SISO) data are used to build a model. Multi-level periodic perturbation signal (MLPPS) treated as an input signal for the identification process to provide a good model which is indicated by fitness value. A particular cross-distribution of MLPPS data sets is used in the validation process to earn the best model. Furthermore, a simple feedback control scheme is used to re-examine the model with the real system. The result declares that by using MLPPS, simulation of the model conducted in MATLAB Simulink gives a close performance to the measured real experiment which is implemented using Arduino Uno.

Many social media users use Twitter to comment on political issues especially during the elections. In order to extract information from Indonesian people's tweets about the election, this research made an analytics application to analyze the prospective regional election in Indonesia. The research method using Software Reuse, which relies on Reusable Component-Based Software Engineering (CBSE). Some steps done in this research are requirement specification, component analysis, requirement modification, system design with reuse, development and integration, and system validation. In system validation, we have done functional requirement testing in the form of black box testing and non-functional requirement test in the form of performance (running time), accuracy, and usability. The results of black box testing indicate that the functional system has been run according to the required specifications that have been made. The results of the classification testing using SVM method showed its average accuracy is 90.73% in general election mode and 84.58% in the election discussing each of the candidates. The average process time of backend module is 665 seconds from 1500 data tweets. In addition, the dashboard module usability result of the user's understanding of the application based on the questionnaire results shows an average value 2.7 of the value range 0-3 of all users who populated the questioner

Primary Health Care (PHC) serves not only the primary care service but also the community health service. With such complexity, it is necessary to ensure the quality of health care equally on both sides by implementing Health Information Technology to engage both activities. The purpose of this study is to elaborate functional requirements for the Primary Health Care (PHC) business process. Thus, it may offer a foundation for the government for standardising a PHC Information System and also provide a complete structure of Health Information System (HIS) requirements for the PHC basic process: individual care business process and community health care process. This research is a qualitative study by conducting semi-structured in-depth interviews and observations in two public PHC, the District Health Office of Kota Tangerang Selatan, Provincial Health Office of Banten Province, and the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The discussions were transcribed and analysed using the framework matrix analysis method. The result of this research is the functional requirements of an integrated HIS for primary care in Indonesia.

The advances in technology and the rapid use of ICT technology are potential to make some areas in Indonesia having low infostate value more lead down. This digital divide is resulted from the ICT infrastructure, the ICT skill of population, and the level of ICT usage. Although nowadays the price of smartphone is getting affordable, yet smartphone cannot replace the computer completely. To overcome this digital divide, the society need to experience in using computer, thus the skill and the computer use are more effective and efficient. One of ways is by building memoryless computer, - Thin Client. Moreover, the government is preparing the construction network infrastructure with Universal Service Obligation (USO) programs.

This paper presents kinematic and locomotion control of vocational bipedal robot (VoBiRo)with a kid-size platform. Typically, a linear inverted pendulum model (LIPM) can be used to generate the center of mass (CoM) trajectory of a bipedal robot. By combining the swing foot trajectory, the omnidirectional walking command is capable of generating joint angle control commands in terms of kinematic. Thus, this paper proposes kinematic and LIPM as a locomotion control VoBiRo. A complete simulation was then implemented in MATLAB and graphical user interface (GUI) by Processing IDE relying on kinematic and LIPM model.

Voice communication is often afflicted by various forms of losses, such as packet loss over the communication channel. This study focuses on examining a few speech codec that usually used in connectionless communication such as G.711, G.722, G.729, AMR-NB, and AMR-WB for voice over LTE application and the impact of random and burst packet loss on voice communication against the codec using evalvid and NS-3 simulator. The quality measurement ended up using the PESQ as an objective MOS - LQ measurement and the result was codec type almost did not have effect significantly against packet loss.

This paper evaluates climate simulations at high resolution for Sumatra simulated using the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model driven by climate simulations of the global climate model Community Earth System Model (CESM) version 1. CESM/WRF simulated climatological temperature and precipitation at 10-km resolution covering the 20-y period of 1980–1999 were evaluated using the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit, the University of Delaware Air Temperature and Precipitation, and the Global Precipitation Climate Center observation datasets, and the ERA-Interim reanalysis dataset. Results show that CESM/WRF performs much better than CESM does and can simulate local spatial patterns and values of precipitation and temperature for Sumatra well. CESM/WRF simulated climatological temperature and precipitation agree well with observations and reanalysis. CESM/WRF is useful for providing climate simulations at high resolution for Sumatra.

The main purpose of this research is to analyze sentiment of DKI Jakarta's gubernatorial election 2017 in social media Twitter with predictive and descriptive approaches. The dataset were collected from Twitter by using each candidate's username as the search query. For the predictive approach, machine learning algorithms such as Multinomial Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine are used to classify the dataset. As for the descriptive approach, time series graphs and wordclouds are used to get the deeper insights of the dataset and find the connection between Twitter's sentiment and the result of the election itself.

Social learning leads to the understanding of factual knowledge, technical skills, change of cognitions, as well as change of attitudes, trust and relationships. Social learning is an entry point in promoting innovative urban development theme to grasp with territorial competitiveness in national even global level. In terms of promoting innovative development theme proposal, communication and interaction are primarily important in initiating such ideas, while common understanding, mutual agreement, and collective action need to be encouraged to facilitate knowledge based development as a spirit of technopolis as an urban development theme in Cimahi. Cimahi City has limited natural resources and needs to maximize the human resource potential to improve its regional competitiveness. Currently, the government is developing its city using the concept of technopolis by building Cimahi Technopark as a means of developing creative industries in Cimahi City, especially in the animation and telematics sector. Recognizing communication and interaction characteristics are initial step in formulating such innovative planning theme namely technopolis. Technopolis can be interpreted as an effort creating propulsive economic activities through commercialization of updated technological based products. So, understanding critical components as well as key actors are important to operate business climate along with current social as well as governance system. To realize the development of technopolis concept that can support the sustainable economic growth of the region, it is necessary to conduct a research related factors — factors that affect the readiness of technopolis development in Cimahi City. The approach in this research is qualitative approach with case study type, with case is Cimahi Technopark development. Data collection is done through interview with purposive sampling with snowball and observation with data analysis method used is content analysis. From the results of the analysis obtained the condition of readiness of Cimahi City seen from spatial and aspasial aspects.

Human Activity Recognition is a research field that aims to identify the activities carried out by a person. Recognition can be done by using information that is retrieved from various sources, for example: using inertial sensors. Lately, many people use smartphone with built-in inertial sensors such as accelerometer and gyroscope which make these smartphone capable of recognizing human activities. But, an optimization must be done to minimize the computational process of the recognition system so that the system could be function properly in smartphone that has limited processing power. In this study optimization was done by reducing the numbers of features used in the dataset. Using an available public human activity recognition dataset, mRMR (Minimum Redundancy Maximum Relevance) feature selection method was applied to the dataset to reduce the numbers of features. Results from this study show that using mRMR method in dataset 7∶3, the numbers of features can be reduced from 561 features to 201 features, while still maintaining the accuracy at 95.15% using SVM classifier and 94.23% using MLP classifier. While using mRMR method in dataset 8∶2, the numbers of features can be reduced from 561 features to 154 features with the accuracy 95.18% using SVM and the numbers of features can be reduced from 561 to 211 with the accuracy 94.84% using MLP. Both dataset using the same threshold that is 95% for SVM and 94% for MLP. For the running time computation, in dataset 7∶3 the running time becomes 42.57% from the initial running time using SVM and 12.63% from the initial running time using MLP. While in dataset 8∶2 the running time becomes 60.5% from the initial running time using SVM and 14% from the initial running time using MLP.

The sea surface circulation pattern over the Strait of Malacca during Northeast Monsoon (NE) and Southwest Monsoon (SW) were derived using multi-year averaged sea level anomaly from altimetric data. This altimetric data has been derived using multi-mission satellite altimeter TOPEX, ERS-1, ERS-2, JASON-1, ENVISAT, JASON-2, CryoSAT-2 and SARAL for the period of twenty-three years (1993 to 2015). In general, the surface current pattern during Northeast Monsoon and Southwest Monsoon are rather complex than inter-monsoon. Number of eddies were found in seasonal surface circulation of the studied region. During the first inter-monsoon (April), there was an anti-cyclonic eddy formed near the northern part of Sumatra centered at (∼ 6N, 97.5 E). Meanwhile, a cyclonic eddy formed at the central region of Malacca Strait centered at (∼ 5.5N, 99.5 E) during SW Monsoon and the eddy still existed during second inter-monsoon (October) but weaker than previous monsoon. The pattern of the surface current during April was almost consistent with the trajectories of surface drifter developed in this study.

Complementary breastfeeding is food or a drink which contains nutrients given to children aged 6–24 month. A lot of information of complementary breastfeeding recipes cause confusion in creating a complementary breastfeeding menu. Hence ontology is considered as an appropriate approach in this case. The arranged ontology is able to describe information more systematically. It makes search and knowledge sharing easier and able to enrich the implementation of semantics technology. This research is focused on how to build an ontology model for complementary breastfeeding recipes. The result of this research is an ontology model for complementary breastfeeding recipes in OWL format. This ontology model of complementary breastfeeding recipes has nine major classes namely Bahan_Makanan, Bumbu, Cara_Olah, Jenis_Makanan, Kandungan_Gizi, Nama_Resep, Rasa_Makanan, Tekstur_Makanan and Usia_Bayi. The ontology model which has been created can answer the questions about complementary breastfeeding recipes correctly. The questions are tested through Quick Search and SPARQL testing and validated by experts nutritionists. This makes the ontology model for complementary breastfeeding recipes can be developed into wider ontology model.

Ontology is a representation term used to describe and represent a domain of knowledge. Manually ontology development is currently considered complex, requiring a lot of time and effort. This research was proposed to develop methods to build automatic domain ontology bilingual in Indonesian and English by using corpus and ontology design patterns (ODPs) in tuberculosis disease. In this study, the methods used were to combine ontology learning from text and correspond with ontology design patterns to decrease the role of expert knowledge. The methods in this research consist of six stages: (i) Term and relation extraction (ii) Corresponding with Tuberculosis glossary (iii) Corresponding the ontology design patterns (iv) Score computation similarity term and relations with ODPs (v) Ontology Building (vi) Ontology evaluation. The results of ontology construction were 361 terms and 44 relations with 260 terms were added. The calculation accuracy of ontology construction was 71%. Ontology construction had higher complexity and shorter time as well as decreases the role of the expert knowledge which proof that the automatic ontology evaluation is better than manual ontology construction.
