This study aims to discuss the sibling rivalry behavior mentioned in the Quran involving Prophet Yusuf and his brothers, its causes, indications, effects and treatment as extracted from the story. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach involving various sources such as journals, books and classic literatures. The result of this study indicated that the causes of siblings encountered in the story of Prophet Yusuf as. were jealousy that builds an assumption of the existence of favoritism between siblings by parents, kids being competitive to get their parent's attention, lack of empathy for the sibling, harmful anger and manipulative attitude. To deal with this behavior, Prophet Yaqub showed an example as a distinctive parent by being patient with the children's behavior, playing fair with all his children, building good communication, and educating the children to always have a good connection with God.

هناك الأحاديث الصحيحة الّتي تحتاج إلى بيان مفاهيمها لأنّها تشكّل بعض الإشكاليات في نظر بعض الناس، إمّا من جهالتهم بمفهومها الحقيقي أو من سوء ظنّهم إليها، وذلك قد يكون محال للطعن في السنّة والأحاديث النّبوية، وخصوصًا عند منكري السنّة والمشركين بالله. ومن أمثلة هذه الأحاديث: حديث "الشؤم في ثلاث". ولهذا، يتحدّث هذا البحث عن الإشكاليات الّتي تتعلّق بهذا الحديث، ومنها: ظاهر الحديث متعارض بالعقيدة الإسلامية، وتعارض الحديث بالأحاديث الصحيحة الأخرى، والادّعاء برفض عائشة هذا الحديث، والقول أنّ الحديث منسوخ بالآية والأحاديث الصحيحة الأخرى، والطعن في صحيح البخاري لحمل الحديث يشتمل على شرك صريح. ويستخدم البحث المنهج التحليلي والاستقرائي، والذي يتوصل بهما إلى حلول مطروحة، منها: الشؤم المذكور لا يدخل ضمن الطيرة المحرّمة، والأمور الثلاثة مِن أكثر ما يتطير بها الإنسان لطول ملازمتها، والشؤم في الثلاثة جاء على معناه الخاص، وقول عائشة في أبي هريرة كذب من باب الغلظ والمبالغة في الغضب، وما يثبت من خلال تأويل العلماء أنّ هذا الحديث منسوخ بالآيات القرآنية أو الأحاديث الصحيحة الأخرى، فيبقى على صحّته مع الحمل بالمعنى الخاص له.

Determination of the beginning of the month of qamariyah in Indonesia uses several methods, namely ru’yah and hisab. In addition to these methods, to determine the entry of the beginning of the month is also marked by the appearance of hilal in a place (mathla') which is the main key in determining the beginning of the month of qamariyah. Indonesia is one of the majority Muslim countries, and in this case Indonesia is still experiencing differences in worship in that month. The difference between the beginning and end of fasting in Islamic countries is only one portrait of the condition of Muslims. Although they are one ummah, but in a concrete way the Muslims are divided. Apart from being influenced by the method, it is also influenced by differences in mathla’ appearance of the moon. Ittuhâdul mathla' method can be used in determining the beginning of the month of qamariyah in Indonesia for the benefit of Muslim societies.

Quranic orientation has special abilities in showing people the right path and lead them in dealing with life matters perfectly from various aspects such as social, politic and economy. However, this orientation which is revealed by God had been neglected by Muslims, as well as its applications towards their life. Thus, this study aims to analyze the definiton of Quranic orientation and its main role in dealing with the changes of social challenges with continous development of life, in order to explain the significance of this orientation and its characteristics which able to be applied everytime and everywhere. This study used analysis method that leaded to some conclusions, among them: Quranic orientation is the guidance and direction that extracted from Al-Quran in fulfilling human’s needs that suitable in any circumtances and changes. The main role of Quranic orientation are: First, to extract its benefits to be a guideline for human being in any situations. Second, getting morals from the stories of Quran such as prophetic stories and the past peoples stories in order to meet contemporary challenges. Third, to be a proof to the authentication of Quran as God’s revelation and its reliability until the day of Judgement. Finally, to introduce Quranic orientation as the perfect and completed method and guideline to the human being.
