[ES] El Trabajo de Fin de Grado (TFG) se centrará en el uso de la técnica de Velocimetría por Imágenes de Partículas (PIV) para investigar el comportamiento del flujo de refrigerante en un reactor de agua presurizada (PWR) con un conjunto de barras de 3x3. El objetivo principal es medir y analizar los campos de velocidad del refrigerante en dos configuraciones distintas de conjuntos de barras: uno con álabes mezcladores y otro sin ellos. El estudio se llevará a cabo mediante la realización de experimentos en los que se tomarán imágenes del flujo antes y después del paso por las rejillas de separación, para evaluar el impacto de los álabes mezcladores en la homogeneización de la velocidad del refrigerante. Estas imágenes se post-procesarán utilizando programas de CFD y Matlab para calcular los campos de velocidad y realizar un análisis comparativo entre ambas configuraciones., [EN] This study explores the fluid dynamics within a pressurized water reactor (PWR) using Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) to analyse a 3x3 rod bundle configuration. The research focuses on understanding the behaviour of coolant flow in the reactor core, particularly examining the effects of different spacer grid designs, with and without mixing vanes. The PIV technique enabled the visualization and measurement of instantaneous and averaged velocity fields, providing insights into turbulence, flow uniformity, and velocity fluctuations. The results indicate that spacer grids with mixing vanes significantly enhance flow mixing and uniformity compared to those without vanes. Data analysis using MATLAB and the PIVMat toolbox facilitated the generation of comprehensive velocity maps and statistical measures, highlighting the improved performance of the mixing vane grids in promoting homogeneous flow distribution. Error analysis and uncertainty quantification were conducted to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurements.
