Aim. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the expression and clinicopathological significance of complement C1q B chain (C1QB) in cervical cancer. Methods. In total, 120 cervical cancer tissues, as well as 20 samples each of high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSILs), low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (LSILs), and benign cervical tissue, were collected to evaluate the expression of C1QB protein via immunohistochemical staining. We conducted an integrated analysis of C1QB mRNA expression in cervical cancer using public microarrays and RNA-seq data sets by calculating standard mean differences (SMDs). Expanded graphite (EG) adsorbent was prepared with graphite as raw materials, potassium permanganate as oxidant, and vitriol as intercalation compound. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) 10000 and Acid brilliant red 3B (ABR) with obvious difference in molecular weights were selected as organic adsorbates, and their adsorption and competitive adsorption thermodynamics and kinetics on EG were investigated. The results are: In both single component system and dual component system, the adsorption and competitive adsorption isotherm of PEG 10000 and ABR on EG are all type I. In dual component system, the existence of another component would decrease the single component adsorbance, which might be caused by the competitive adsorption of these adsorbates for the same adsorbing site on EG. Adsorption and competitive adsorption are spontaneous, and the increase of ionic strength, temperature and expanded volume of the adsorbent would cause the increase of adsorbance. No matter the single component system or the dual component system, the adsorption kinetics models can all be well described with pseudo second-order model. Adsorption rate increases with the increase of temperature. Physical adsorption is the main action between EG with these adsorbates.

The catalysis of expandable graphite EG for esterification has been studied. EG was prepared with KMnO4 as oxidant and H2SO4 as inserting reagent. Eexpanded volume，x-ray diffraction and energy dispersive analysis for EG were carried, and its catalytic activity was detected in the reaction of acetic acid with butanol. Influence of mole ratio of butanol and acetic acid, dosage of EG on ester yield were optimumed single factor experiments. The suitable esterification condition is: molar ratio of butanol to acetic acid keeps 1.6:1.0, mass of EG keeps 9.0% of the total mass of reactants; reaction keeping up 1.0 h at the boling point, and esterification rate of 98.2% can be achieved. The reuse ester yield is 86.6% for first reuse and 61.2% for the second reuse.

Three kinds of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) with different degree of polymerization (DP) in aqueous solution were used as adsorbates. We have studied the influence of initial PVA concentration, temperature and ionic strength on adsorption capacity. Langmuir constants and Gibbs free energy change (⊿G°) were calculated according to experimental data respectively. Thermodynamic analysis indicates the equilibrium adsorbance of PVA on EG increase with the rise of SO42– concentration. Adsorption isotherms of PVA with different degree of polymerization are all types and we deduce PVA molecules lie flat on EG surface. Adsorption processes are all spontaneous. Kinetic studies show that the kinetic data can be described by pseudo second-order kinetic model. Second-order rate constants and the initial adsorption rate rise with the increasing of temperature and half-adsorption time decreases with the increasing of temperature. The adsorption activation energy of each PVA is less than 20 kJ•mol−1, physical adsorption is the major mode of the overall adsorption process.

In order to investigate the decolorization characteristics of expanded graphite (EG) loaded with titania for auramine lake yellow O adsorbate, the adsorbent is prepared with 50 mesh natural graphite as raw materials, potassium permanganate as oxidant and vitriol, tetranbutyl titanate as intercalation compound. The expanded volume of EG loaded with titania is 320 mL/g. We detect the equilibration time, influence of ionic strength and initial concentration of the adsorbate on decolorization rate. Based on pseudo first-order and second-order kinetic model, the decolorization model is discussed. Decolorization rate and activation energy were calculated. Studies show that decolorization rate of EG loaded with titania for auramine lake yellow O decrease with the increase of the adsorbate initial concentration and increase with the increase of ionic strength; the decolorization process can be well described by the pseudo second-order kinetic model; decolorization equilibrium time and half decolorization time decrease with the increase of temperature.

We study the influence of initial PEG concentration, temperature, pH and ionic strength on adsorption capacity. Langmuir constants and Gibbs free energy change (ΔG°) are calculated according to experimental data, respectively. Thermodynamic study indicates that all the equilibrium adsorbance increase with the rise in ionic strength. However, solution acidity does not have an obvious effect. Adsorption of EG for PEG with different MW is all types and PEG molecule lies flat on EG surface. Adsorption processes are all spontaneous. Kinetic studies show that the kinetic data can be delineated by pseudo second-order kinetic model. Second-order rate constants and the initial adsorption rate rise with the increasing of temperature and half-adsorption time decreases with the increasing of temperature. The adsorption activation energy of each PEG is less than 30 kJ mol-1, physical adsorption is the major mode of the overall adsorption process.

Expanded graphite (EG) shows higher adsorption capacity for oils such as salad oil and SD300 oil than polyethylene glycol (PEG) with different MW (4000, 10000, 20000). To illustrate their different adsorption mechanism, adsorption capacities of EG for these pollutants are firstly detected. And then stepwise adsorption for oils is carried out with EG which has been saturated first by PEG with different MW. Then difference between stepwise adsorbance of oil is checked with deviation analysis. Scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) analysis is used to show structure difference of EG adsorbed different adsorbates. It is testified adsorption isotherms of PEG are all type I, PEG molecules lay flat on EG surface and equilibrium adsorbance decrease with the increase of PEG MW. Adsorbance for SD 300 oil and salad oil can reach 131.3 g/g and 127.8 g/g respectively. Deviation analysis for stepwise adsorbance of oil shows no statistical significance. EG saturated firstly by PEG, still has an average adsorption capacity of 98 g/g for SD300 oil and 85 g/g for salad oil and it does not change with the initial PEG concentration. SEM photos illustrate the adsorption of oil on EG is mainly filling. In the adsorption of PEG water solution, there is severe breakage of the V-type pore and shrinkage of the particle.

Biodiesel was obtained through transesterification of animal oil and ethanol under the catalysis of SO42- / TiO2 We have inspected the activation of SO42- / TiO2prepared under different dipping vitriol concentration，baking activation temperature. The optimum conditions to prepare SO42- / TiO2are; dipping vitriol concentration of TiCl4 hydrolysis product is 1.5 mol / L, baking activation temperature for this catalyst takes 500°C. It can guarantee the catalyst has a smaller size and a higher load of vitriol. With animal oil as raw materials, ethanol as transesterifying agent and SO42- / TiO2as catalyst, the influence of reaction time, mass ratio of ethanol to oil and the dosage of catalyst were investigated. Optimum condition to obtain biodiesel was studied through orthogonal experiment, and it is listed as follow: mass ratio of ethanol to oil is 1.5:1.0, dosage of catalyst is 30 g SO42- / TiO2versus per 100 g animal oil, and reaction time is 8.0 h when reaction temperature is controlled as 80°C. The yield of biodiesel is 0.796 g/g under the above condition. SO42- / TiO2can be used as an effective catalyst during transesterification of animal oil and ethanol, and it can be reused

The catalysis of expandable graphite for esterification of acetic acid with isoamyl alcohol has been studied. Expandable graphite was prepared with three different methods. In esterification reaction, the influences of catalyst amount, materials ratio, reaction time, prepared method of the expandable graphite on esterification reaction were discussed. X-ray diffraction spectrum of expandable graphite testified the existence of H2SO4 intercalation reaction. Through L9(34) orthogonal experiment, optimum esterification reaction conditions were gained as: n(isoamyl alcohol):n(acetic acid)=1.5:1, w(catalyst with a expandable volume of 290 mL•g-1) = 7.5% total amount of materials, reaction time 1.5 h, and temperature keeping at the boiling point. Yield of isoamyl acetate reachs 96.0%. It was testified that expandable graphite was a kind of effective catalyst in the esterification of acetic acid with isoamyl alcohol.

Expanded graphite (EG) is a kind of important adsorbent for organic compound such as oil and dyes. We have investigated the adsorption kinetics characteristics of this adsorbent for dye. EG was prepared with 50 mesh crude graphite through chemical oxidation intercalation of potassium permanganate and vitriol, and dye of acid red 3B was used as model sorbate. We have studied the adsorption kinetic models and rate-limiting step of the process. Adsorption rate and activation energy of the adsorption process were calculated. Kinetic studies show that the kinetic data are well described by the pseudo second-order kinetic model. The equilibrium adsorbance increases with the increase of the initial acid red 3B concentration. Initial adsorption rate increases with the increase of the initial dye concentration and temperature. Adsorption process of acid red 3B on EG has small activation energy. Internal diffusion appears to be the rate-limiting step for the adsorption process.
