Glioma is a malignant tumor that often occurs in the adult central nervous system. Metadherin/astrocyte-elevated gene-1 (MTDH) is involved in the development of cancer, but its relationship with glioma remains unclear. This study is aimed at clarifying the role of MTDH in glioma. GEPIA was employed to find the difference of the expression level of MTDH and MYB protooncogene-like 2 (MYBL2) in glioma tissues and normal tissues, and real-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR (qRT-PCR) and western blot (WB) were applied to verify the differential gene expression of MTDH and MYBL2 cells. After knocking down of MTDH, the expressions of forkhead box M1 (FoxM1), MTDH, and MYBL2 were detected by WB cells. Cell counting kit 8 (CCK-8) was used to detect cell proliferation, and flow cytometry was applied to measure cell apoptosis. The transwell assay was utilized to investigate the ability of cell migration and invasion. The results showed that MTDH and MYBL2 were overexpressed in glioma cells compared with normal cells. The knockdown of MTDH would inhibit the expression of MYBL2 through decreasing the expression of FoxM1 and further reduce glioma cell proliferation and cell migration and invasion. The present study showed that knockdown of MTDH inhibits glioma proliferation and migration and promotes apoptosis by downregulating MYBL2, which suggests that MTDH is a potential gene in clinical treatment of glioma. Weibo platform is an indispensable transmission channel in education policy release and dissemination. The events and sentiments contained in education policies microblogs include the public sentiment and support the general management and guidance scientifically and efficiently. This study constructs a dataset based on the "Double Reduction Policy" relevant microblogs and comments. The policy events are extracted by Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) model and Language Technology Platform (LTP). Based on the emotion dictionary, an attention-based BiLSTM model is constructed to classify the public sentiments. The experimental results reveal four themes: "industry impact," "institutional supervision," "public feedback," and "policy implementation." Earthquakes are one of the most frequent and inevitable natural disasters that occur on Earth. The most important seismic isolation device used in the isolation technology is the isolation bearing, but the limited structure of the isolation bearing is not suitable for the seismic isolation and shock absorption of smart transportation buildings. Therefore, it is very important to improve the new generation of seismic isolation structures with good seismic isolation effect, stable performance, and economical performance. It is very important to study the structural composition of the isolation bearing and the rigidity of the isolation structure. Isolation bearings are designed to resist and absorb the energy of seismic shocks by installing substructures in the structure. Active control involves installing sensors on the structure and its foundation to determine how the structure responds to seismic action. In this paper, based on the intelligent transportation of the sensor network, the reticulated shell structure of the isolation bearing is analyzed. By introducing the architecture and network layout of the sensor network, it is beneficial to obtain more accurate seismic data in complex and difficult terrain. This paper analyzes the technical principle of seismic isolation technology, which can effectively avoid the upward transmission of ground vibration by increasing the flexibility and proper damping of the system. From the experimental data of the seismic response of the ground-isolated structure to the near-field pulsation and far-field vibration, the total energy of the ground-isolated structure under the near-field pulsed ground motion is the largest. The seismic isolation effect of the reticulated shell structure of the seismic isolation bearing prevents more than 80% of the seismic energy from being transmitted to the superstructure. Objective. To compare the clinical effects of modified above-knee and conventional surgery with the stripping of the great saphenous vein of varicose veins of the lower extremities. Methods. Clinical data of patients with a varicose vein of the lower extremity from May 2016 to May 2018 were collected. A retrospective study was conducted on the patients receiving modified above-knee and conventional surgery with the great saphenous vein stripping. The baseline characteristics and long-term follow-up data were compared between the groups. Results. There were no significant differences in baseline characteristics between the two groups (P > 0.05). The surgeries were successfully performed by the same group of surgeons under local anesthesia and neuraxial anesthesia. The hospital stay, operation time, intraoperative blood loss, total length, and number of incisions in the above-knee group were comparable to those in the conventional surgery group (P > 0.05). The incidence of saphenous nerve injury and subcutaneous hematoma in the above-knee group was lower than that in the conventional surgery group (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in recurrent varicose vein incidences (P > 0.05). After surgery, the venous clinical severity score (VCSS) and chronic venous insufficiency questionnaire (CIVIQ-14) scores of both groups were higher than those before operation (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in VCSS score or CIVIQ-14 scores between the two groups postoperation (P > 0.05). At 24 months after surgery, the above-knee group (71.8%) and conventional surgery group (73.2%) resulted in changes of at least two CEAP-C clinical classes lower than baseline, respectively. Conclusion. The modified above-knee technique can ensure clinical outcomes, reduce intraoperative blood loss and complication incidences, and shorten the operative time. In recent years, the studies on fine-grained sedimentation mainly focus on the rock type, sedimentary environment, sedimentation, and sequence stratigraphy, while those on the relationship between sedimentary environment and lithofacies development are rare. However, a clear understanding on the relationship is of great significance to the muddy shale oil and gas exploration. This paper studied the muddy shale of semideep and deep lacustrine facies in the lower submember of Member 3 of Shahejie Formation in FY-1 Well, Dongying Sag, Bohai Bay Basin, East China. Based on geochemical data, the sedimentary environment media conditions and vertical changes of this submember were analyzed by means of core description, thin section authentication, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and other technologies, and the relationship between sedimentary environment and lithofacies development was discussed. The results show that this environment underwent three stages and is featured by cyclicity. From the bottom up, it experienced the semideep, deep, and deep/semideep waters under the relatively dry-cold/relatively warm-wet, warm-wet, and warm-wet/relatively warm-wet paleoclimates, respectively. Correspondingly, the paleoredox transited three stages from reducibility to high reducibility to high reducibility/reducibility; the paleosalinity changed from saline water to brackish water to brackish/saline water. Paleoproductivity was low/relatively high at the beginning, then became high, and finally relatively high. In this submember, the lithofacies primarily includes organic-rich mudstone, organic-rich lime mudstone, organic-rich lime-bearing mudstone, and organic-contained argillaceous limestone/lime mudstone. The sedimentary environment controls the mineral composition and content in the lithofacies and thus determines the lithofacies types. Meanwhile, the cyclicity of environmental change not only leads to that of the lithofacies development but also affects the positions of the lithofacies and its assemblages in sequence stratigraphic framework. With the further exploration and development of shale oil and gas, cycle division of fine-grained sedimentary rock strata has been increasingly highly focused on by scholars. Owing to the application of the theory of classical sequence stratigraphy based on water depth changes and its technical methods being unsatisfactory in the isochronous division and correlation of deep-water fine-grained sedimentary strata, the cycle division of fine-grained sedimentary rock strata has always been a difficult point in the study of sequence stratigraphy. In this paper, the Milankovitch cycle recorded from the study interval and the environment response characteristics were studied, with the lacustrine shale in the lower third submember of the Paleogene Shahejie Formation (lower Es3 submember) in Well Fanye-1 of the Dongying sag, Bohai Bay Basin, as the object of study, by such technical means as thin section identification and X-ray whole rock diffraction, based on such data as logging data and geochemistry, combining the methods of spectral analysis, wavelet transform, and modulus extremum. The results showed that the stratigraphic cycle thicknesses caused by long eccentricity, short eccentricity, and obliquity periods were 38.95 m, 12.98 m, and 4.10 m, respectively, and a total of 16 short eccentricity periods and 4.5 long eccentricity periods were identified in the study interval. Thus, it was further calculated that the sedimentation time was approximately 1.905 Ma, and the average sedimentation rate was estimated to be 0.105 m/ka. Studies have shown that the sedimentary environment of lacustrine fine-grained sedimentary rocks is controlled by the astronomical period, based on which the climate as a whole changes from relatively dry and cold to warm and wet when the eccentricity increases. The identification of the Milankovitch cycle of the lacustrine fine-grained sedimentary strata will provide references for the study of high frequency sequence and the division of high-resolution sequence strata, which can effectively solve the scientifically difficult isochronous division and correlation of lacustrine shale strata. Active load modulation and harmonic injection can be used to boost the power amplifier's (PA) efficiency, but these techniques must add a fundamental external source or a harmonic generator. In this paper, a two‐way power amplifier architecture is introduced to extend high‐efficiency operation bandwidth by utilizing concurrent active load modulation with a waveform mapping method. Active load modulation is realized in between the two branches with the aid of independent input amplitude and phase control. Based on a calculated waveform database, high‐efficiency operations for both transistors from 1 to 4 GHz are designed in a self‐defined optimization platform considering waveform distance and input parameters. Finally, this PA is fabricated and measured to offer 41.6 to 45.0 dBm power, 8.2 to 11.7 dB gain, and 56% to 89% drain efficiency from 0.85 to 3.85 GHz. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Organic matter is the material basis for shales to generate hydrocarbon, as well as the main reservoir space and seepage channel for shale gas. When the thermal evolution degree is consistent, the organic carbon content in present shales is subject to the abundance of primitive sedimentary organic matter. Deep geofluids significantly influence the sedimentary organic matter's enrichment, but the mechanism remains unclear. This paper is aimed at determining how hydrothermal and volcanic activities affected the enrichment of sedimentary organic matter by studying lower Cambrian shales in the lower Yangtze region and upper Ordovician-lower Silurian shales. Oxidation-reduction and biological productivity are used as indicators in the study. The result shows that hydrothermal or volcanic activities affected the enrichment of sedimentary organic matter by influencing climate changes and the nutrients' sources on the waterbody's surface and reducing water at the bottom. In the lower Cambrian shales of the Wangyinpu Formation in the lower Yangtze region, hydrothermal origin caused excess silicon. During the sedimentary period of the lower and middle-upper Wangyinpu Formation, vigorous hydrothermal activities increased the biological productivity on the waterbody's surface and intensified the reducibility at the bottom of the waterbody, which enabled the rich sedimentary organic matter to be well preserved. During the sedimentary period of the lower upper Ordovician Wufeng Formation and the lower Silurian Longmaxi Formation in the upper Yangtze region, frequent volcanic activities caused high biological productivity on the waterbody surface and strong reducibility at the bottom of the waterbody. As a result, the abundant organic matter deposited from the water surface can be well preserved. During the sedimentary period of the upper Longmaxi Formation, volcanic activities died down gradually then disappeared, causing the biological productivity on the water surface to decrease. The cruise control of high-speed trains is challenging due to the presence of time-varying air resistance coefficients and control constrains. Because the resistance coefficients for high-speed trains are not accurately known and will change with the actual operating environment, the precision of high speed train model is lower. In order to ensure the safe and effective operation of the train, the operating conditions of the train must meet the safety constraints. The most traditional cruise control methods are PID control, model predictive control, and so on, in which the high-speed train model is identified offline. However, the traditional methods typically suffer from performance degradations in the presence of time-varying resistance coefficients. In this paper, an adaptive model predictive control (MPC) method is proposed for cruise control of high-speed trains with time-varying resistance coefficients. The adaptive MPC is designed by combining an adaptive updating law for estimated parameters and a multiply constrained MPC for the estimated system. It is proved theoretically that, with the proposed adaptive MPC, the high-speed trains track the desired speed with ultimately bounded tracking errors, while the estimated parameters are bounded and the relative spring displacement between the two neighboring cars is stable at the equilibrium state. Automatic semantic segmentation of point clouds in railway bridge scenes is a crucial step in the digitization process and is required for a variety of subapplications including digital twin reconstruction and component geometric quality verification. This paper details a method for reliably and effectively segmenting point clouds acquired from complex railway bridge scenes by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The method involves segmenting seven common infrastructure elements in railway bridge point clouds using an improved DGCNN after processing low-quality point clouds from UAVs with a score-based denoising algorithm. The segmentation performance of the network is measured by averaging the intersection to union ratio between the segmentation results and the true labels of different elements, i.e., the mean intersection over union (mIoU). The proposed method is evaluated on three different scenes of railway bridges and achieved mIoU values of 99.18%, 90.76%, and 85.84%, respectively, at three levels of complexity ranging from easy to difficult. The results demonstrate that the proposed method captures the most discriminative features from low-quality point clouds, allowing for the accurate and efficient digital representation of railway bridge scenes. Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) represents a clinically and genetically heterogeneous disease characterized by progressive photoreceptor loss. In recent years, research has been rarely made in blood flow affected in RP. The specific mechanism of blood flow affected in RP is not completely clear. A number of studies indicated that the decreased blood flow was related to RP. According to clinical observation and treatment experience, Chinese medicine considered that blood stasis runs throughout the RP disease progression, and the blood stasis corresponding to Chinese herbal medicine has a positive effect on the clinical treatment of RP. Therefore, we proposed that the decreased blood flow may participate in the lesion. Cognitive spectrum management can improve the utilization efficiency of spectrum while increasing the energy consumption of sensor network nodes. Hence, how to balance the energy consumption and spectrum efficiency has become a critical challenge in the resource-constrained cognitive radio sensor networks. In this paper, by analyzing the channel characteristics and the energy efficiency of networks, a joint channel selection and power control spectrum decision algorithm based on distributed Q learning is proposed. To evaluate the performance of the proposed framework, an optimal Q value subject to communication efficiency index is formulated. Then, the learning strategy selection scheme is designed to solve the optimization problem by establishing a learning model. In this learning model, each node can get the strategy of other nodes to select the optimal strategy by introducing distributed strategy estimation. With the increasing demand for large signal bandwidth in communication systems, the complexity of the behavioral model of power amplifier (PA) will also increase. In this paper, a modified weighted magnitude‐selective model based on magnitude‐selective affine (MSA) function based model and weighted memory polynomial model is proposed to ensure low complexity and good modeling performance under broadband signal excitation. This model is constructed by using the power‐dependent weighted function instead of the sum of multiple MSA functions in MSA. It can not only be used to solve the nonlinearity of PA excited by large bandwidth signal but also reducing the model coefficients without affecting the modeling performance makes the digital predistortion of large bandwidth signals more simple and effective. In this paper, a 100 MHz broadband signal is used for simulation and experiment on a wideband PA. The existing semantic segmentation methods have some shortcomings in feature extraction of remote sensing images. Therefore, an image semantic segmentation method based on deep learning in UAV aerial remote sensing images is proposed. First, original remote sensing images obtained by S185 multirotor UAV are divided into smaller image blocks through sliding window and normalized to provide high-quality image set for subsequent operations. Then, the symmetric encoding-decoding network structure is improved. Bottleneck layer with 1 × 1 convolution is introduced to build ISegNet network model, and pooling index and convolution are used to fuse semantic information and image features. The improved encoding-decoding network gradually strengthens the extraction of details and reduces the number of parameters. Finally, based on ISegNet network, five-classification problem is transformed into five binary classification problems for network training, so as to obtain high-precision image semantic segmentation results. The experimental analysis of the proposed method based on TensorFlow framework shows that the accuracy value reaches 0.901, and the F1 value is not less than 0.83. To cope with the degradation of digital predistortion when bandwidth changes, a bandwidth adaptive behavioral model with dynamic structures for radio frequency (RF) power amplifiers (PAs) is proposed in this article. By applying the nonlinear post‐compensation technology, PA's nonlinearity is decomposed and analyzed. Short‐time Fourier transform and transfer functions are adopted to study the influence of bandwidth variation on the linear memory effect. Based on PA's memory effect analysis, a bandwidth adaptive model with dynamic structures and a coefficient update scheme with low complexity are proposed. Experiments carried on PAs show that the proposed model achieves similar linearization performance as other conventional models. In order to ensure high reliability, the efficiency of traditional aerospace software testing is often low. With the rapid development of machine learning, its powerful data feature extraction ability has great potential in improving the efficiency of aerospace software testing. Therefore, this paper proposed a software defect prediction method based on deep neural network and process measurement. Based on the NASA data set and combined with the software process data, the software defect measurement set is constructed. 35 measurement elements are used as the original input, and multiple single-layer automatic coding networks are superimposed to form the deep neural network model of software defect. The model is finally trained by the layer-by-layer greedy training method to realize software defect prediction. Experimental verification shows that the prediction method has a good prediction effect on aerospace software defects, and the accuracy rate reached 90%, which can greatly improve the efficiency and effect of aerospace software testing. In this article, a design method for a tri‐band power amplifier (PA) with dynamic drain bias voltage is presented. Continuous operation modes are used to expand the impedance design space. In the input and output matching networks, harmonic control circuits are set up to improve efficiency. The load harmonic impedances are obtained by continuous theory. Bias network and harmonic short circuit are used in the input matching network to control harmonics and obtain stop‐band. Dynamic drain bias enables the PA to adapt to different emission environments. With input and output harmonic control technology, a 0.9, 1.5, and 2.1 GHz GaN PA is designed to achieve high efficiency in different modes. The measured efficiencies of the fabricated PA at all three bands are more than 58.6%. At 1.5 GHz, when driven with a 20 MHz LTE signal with a 7 dB peak‐to‐average power ratio, by applying digital pre‐distortion, the PA prototype maintains an adjacent channel power ratio of better than −48.7 dBc. Crack detection at the pixel level across complex scenarios (structural interference and adverse working conditions) is a critical consideration in the maintenance of ballastless track slab (BTS). Although existing deep learning models achieve acceptable accuracy on cracks with a monotonous background, the ground truth with high labor cost is inevitable and their performance in complex scenarios may fall far below their theoretical bounds or even cause "all-black images." A hybrid algorithm based on synthetic data from digital twin model and weakly supervised style transfer is proposed in this paper for addressing the above challenges. The algorithm uses a region-attention strategy to enable the uncontrolled generative adversarial network (GAN) focusing its attention on weak labels containing crack regions, directly obtaining segmentation results with the same style as the ground truth of the crack forest dataset. In addition, a digital twin model that can simulate the real inspection working conditions is established to generate a synthetic crack dataset, enabling the hybrid algorithm to extract the most discriminative features. The results show that the performance of the hybrid algorithm on inspection images across complex scenarios is nearly 25% higher than that of the DeepLabv3+ network, while the time cost consumed is only 0.5% of the latter. The deployment of the region attention strategy also enables the hybrid algorithm to achieve a mean intersection of union (MIoU) of 79.38%, which is nearly twice as much as that of GAN. It not only eliminates the oversegmentation caused by structures such as rails and fastener systems but also overcomes "all-black images." In addition, synthetic data can greatly enlarge the range, type, and number of discriminative crack features compared with data augmentation based on limited real data, thus enhancing the performance of the hybrid algorithm for uncertain inspection data. Particularly, the fully trained hybrid algorithm based on the synthetic dataset shows good adaptability and generalization to adverse working conditions such as uneven lighting, noise, and blur. Multidrug resistance (MDR) is a critical reason for cancer chemotherapy failure. Babaodan (BBD) is a famous traditional Chinese patent medicine reported to have antigastric cancer activity. However, the roles and molecular mechanisms of the reversal of MDR of gastric cancer by BBD have not been well described until now. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to elucidate further the role of BBD in reversing the MDR of gastric cancer cells and its specific regulatory mechanism via in vitro experiments. To verify our results, MTT, Doxorubicin (DOX) staining, Rhodamin123 (Rho123) staining, DAPI staining, Annexin V-FITC, propidium iodide (PI), Cyto-ID, and western blot assays were performed. To determine whether BBD triggers apoptosis and autophagy through the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling, we also applied 3-methyladenine (3-MA), chloroquine (CQ), and 740Y-P (an activator of PI3K). The results showed that BBD reversed the MDR and induced apoptosis and autophagy of SGC7901/DDP cells. Pathway analyses suggested BBD inhibits PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway activity and subsequent apoptosis-autophagy induction. Inhibition of autophagy with 3-MA and chloroquine (CQ) was performed to confirm that BBD promoted autophagy. PI3K agonist, 740Y-P, further verified BBD inhibition of PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway activation. Encouraging a certain number of users to participate in a sensing task continuously for collecting high-quality sensing data under a certain budget is a new challenge in the mobile crowdsensing. The users' historical reputation reflects their past performance in completing sensing tasks, and users with high historical reputation have outstanding performance in historical tasks. Therefore, this study proposes a reputation constraint incentive mechanism algorithm based on the Stackelberg game to solve the abovementioned problem. First, the user's historical reputation is applied to select some trusted users for collecting high-quality sensing data. Then, the two-stage Stackelberg game is used to analyze the user's resource contribution level in the sensing task and the optimal incentive mechanism of the server platform. The existence and uniqueness of Stackelberg equilibrium are verified by determining the user's optimal response strategy. Finally, two conversion methods of the user's total payoff are proposed to ensure flexible application of the user's payoff in the mobile crowdsensing network. Simulation experiments show that the historical reputation of selected trusted users is higher than that of randomly selected users, and the server platform and users have good utility. In this article, a dynamic dual‐band baseband equivalent Volterra (DDBE) model is proposed to compensate the nonlinear distortions of the concurrent dual‐band power amplifier (PA). The DDBE model is obtained by improving the discretized dual‐band baseband equivalent Volterra model which can describe the output characteristics of concurrent dual‐band PA completely in theory but is lack of practicability. Three simplification rules are proposed in the article, and the relevance between in‐band intermodulation and in‐band cross modulation is employed to simplify the establishment complexity of the model. Then the dynamic kernels are categorized into three groups, and based on this, DDBE models with different level dynamical kernels are derived. In addition, draw on the experience of single‐band PA behavioral model, even‐order kernels are introduced into DDBE models. Reservoir pore space assessment is of great significance for petroleum exploration and production. However, it is difficult to describe the pore characteristics of deep-buried dolomite reservoirs with the traditional linear method because these rocks have undergone strong modification by tectonic activity and diagenesis and show significant pore space heterogeneity. In this study, 38 dolostone samples from 4 Cambrian formations of Tarim Basin in NW China were collected and 135 thin section images were analyzed. Multifractal theory was used for evaluation of pore space heterogeneity in deep-buried dolostone based on thin section image analysis. The physical parameters, pore structure parameters, and multifractal characteristic parameters were obtained from the digital images. Then, the relationships between lithology and these parameters were discussed. In addition, the pore structure was classified into four categories using K -means clustering analysis based on multifractal parameters. The results show that the multifractal phenomenon generally exists in the pore space of deep-buried dolomite and that multifractal analysis can be used to characterize the heterogeneity of pore space in deep-buried dolomite. For these samples, multifractal parameters, such as α min , α max , Δ α L , Δ α R , Δ f , and AI, correlate strongly with porosity but only slightly with permeability. However, the parameter Δ α , which is usually used to reveal heterogeneity, does not show an obvious link with petrophysical properties. Of dolomites with different fabrics, fine crystalline dolomite and medium crystalline dolomite show the best petrophysical properties and show significant differences in multifractal parameters compared to other dolomites. More accurate porosity estimations were obtained with the multifractal generalized fractal dimension, which provides a new method for porosity prediction. The various categories derived from the K -means clustering analysis of multifractal parameters show distinct differences in petrophysical properties. This proves that reservoir evaluation and pore structure classification can be accurately performed with the K -means clustering analysis method based on multifractal parameters of pore space in deep-buried dolomite reservoirs. Cybersecurity comprised all the technologies and practices that protect data as well as computer and network systems. In this article, we develop four course modules on critical cybersecurity topics that can be adopted in college-level cybersecurity courses in which these topics are covered. Our goal for developing these course modules with the hands-on labs is to increase students' understanding and hands-on experiences on these critical topics that support cyber skills development for college students. The hands-on labs are designed to enhance students' engagement and provide them hands-on experiences with real-world cyber activities to augment their cyber education of both foundational and advanced skills. We also conduct research surveys on the most-recent significant research in these critical cybersecurity fields. These cybersecurity course modules with the labs are also designed to help college/university professors enhance and update their cybersecurity course content, activities, hands-on lab exercises, and pedagogical methods, as well as emphasize the cyber skills to meet today's pressing cybersecurity education needs for college students. Terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) technology has the advantages of wide range, high efficiency, and low cost in spatial information collection, so it is widely used in infrastructure monitoring and measurement. During TLS application, the registration and positioning of the point cloud have a direct impact on the quality of the data and the validity of the results. The linear distribution of the tunnel structure and the lack of significant features present challenges in the registration and positioning of 3D point clouds in railway tunnels. The commonly used registration methods are difficult to achieve high registration accuracy and are prone to propagation errors, which reduce the accuracy and effectiveness of results. To achieve accurate registration and positioning of multistation clouds in railway tunnels, we propose a coordinate-based global registration method. To determine the coordinates of scan points in the reference coordinate system and the direction of the reference coordinate system, a few fixed control points are used during the data collection stage. Consequently, each station cloud can be precisely positioned and automatically registered in the reference coordinate system without accumulating or propagating errors. In addition, the coordinate-based registration method eliminates the introduction of errors due to artificial target setting and feature point extraction, as well as the problem of accurately positioning the entire point cloud in the reference coordinate system, thereby enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and automation levels of cloud registration. The experiment demonstrates that the coordinate-based global registration method is robust and applicable in complex scenes, and it is suitable for the accurate positioning and registration of multistation clouds in linear and curved railway tunnels. The coordinate-based registration method reduces the amount of error in the global registration link by 65% when compared to the point-based registration method, and the point cloud accuracy has reached fine registration, ensuring that fine-grained inverse modeling of the tunnel structure can be performed. Giardia duodenalis is a zoonotic enteric parasite that can infect humans and a number of animal species including rabbits with a worldwide distribution. Infection with G. duodenalis can cause serious public health problems and significant economic losses to animal husbandry. So accurate understanding of the prevalence and genotype distribution of G. duodenalis in rabbits is necessary. In the present study, a total of 616 fecal samples were collected from rabbits in Shandong province, eastern China, and examined in G. duodenalis prevalence and genotypes by nested PCR amplification of β-giardin (bg), glutamate dehydrogenase (gdh), and triosephosphate isomerase (tpi) gene loci of G. duodenalis. Sixty-nine (11.2%) of the examined rabbit fecal samples were G. duodenalis-positive. Of them, the prevalence of G. duodenalis is 8.4% (41/490) in Rizhao city and 22.2% (28/126) in Weihai city. Breeds, region, and feeding modes were highly correlated with G. duodenalis infection in rabbits. Moreover, three genotypes (assemblages A, B, and E) were identified in rabbits at three gene loci, and the assemblage E was the dominant genotype, while the assemblage A was reported in rabbits in China for the first time. It is noticeable that two rabbits were found to be infected with two different G. duodenalis assemblages (assemblages A and E, assemblages B and E, respectively). These findings enrich the genotype distribution of G. duodenalis in rabbits and provide baseline data for preventing and controlling G. duodenalis infection in rabbits in eastern China. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Buddleja officinalis Maxim eye drops on morphology and apoptosis in lacrimal glands of the experimental dry eye rabbit model. A total of thirty-six male rabbits were divided into six study groups, consisting of the control group and the dry eye rabbit model group (without any treatment), the dry eye rabbit model group treated with testosterone, and the dry eye rabbit model group treated with different concentrations of Buddleja officinalis Maxim eye drops (1.0 mg/ml, 1.5 mg/ml and 3.0 mg/ml). The lacrimal glands were evaluated by hematoxylin-eosin staining and immunohistochemistry. Buddleja officinalis Maxim eye drops can improve the morphological structure of the lacrimal gland in the dry eye model of castrated rabbits. The average optical density values of PI3K, Akt, and caspase-9 protein in the lacrimal gland tissue of the 3 mg/ml Buddleja officinalis Maxim eye drops group were significantly different from those in the model group (P<0.01) and similar to the testosterone control group and the control group (P>0.05). Objective. This study is designed to find out the molecular targets of effective Chinese medicine Ziyin Mingmu pills (ZMPs) in treating age-related macular degeneration (AMD) based on network pharmacology and experimental data. Methods. A comprehensive network pharmacology strategy that consists of three sequential modules (drug-disease target molecular docking, enrichment analysis, and external verification) was carried out to identify potential targets of ZMPs acting on AMD. Results. The active ingredients of ZMPs targeting 66 genes have effects on the process of AMD. GO and KEGG pathway enrichment analyses suggested that response to oxidative stress, regulation of angiogenesis, and lipid and atherosclerosis might serve as the most important signaling pathways in ZMPs for AMD treatment. Combined with the GSE29801 dataset for further analysis, two key genes, EGFR and VEGFA, were identified. Immune infiltration analysis showed that there was a strong association between EGFR and immune cell content. In addition, images were acquired following 24 h in the scratch experiment showed that ZMPs can reduce the percentage of wound healing distance. The Western blot assay found that ZMPs increased the expression of EGFR and decreased the expression of VEGFA. Conclusion. This study sheds light on some mechanisms of ZMP therapy for AMD, particularly the effect of ZMP on the oxidative stress in RPE and cell survival and angiogenesis in AMD. It shows that the patient has tumor in the upper outer quadrant of the right breast, and she was diagnosed with intraductal papilloma accompanied by atypical hyperplasia. It suggests modified radical mastectomy of right breast, considering the recurrence and uncertainty about the nature and origin of the lesion.

As an important part of intelligent transportation systems, path planning algorithms have been extensively studied in the literature. Most of existing studies are focused on the global optimization of paths to find the optimal path between Origin-Destination (OD) pairs. However, in urban road networks, the optimal path may not be always available when some unknown emergent events occur on the path. Thus a more practical method is to calculate several suboptimal paths instead of finding only one optimal path. In this paper, a cooperative Q-learning path planning algorithm is proposed to seek a suboptimal multipath set for OD pairs in urban road networks. The road model is abstracted to the form that Q-learning can be applied firstly. Then the gray prediction algorithm is combined into Q-learning to find the suboptimal paths with reliable constraints. It is a challenge to maintain a safe and efficient tracking for multiple high-speed trains under the moving block operational mode. In this paper, a novel cooperative tracking control based on a consensus algorithm and artificial potential field theory is proposed to realize the train tracking within a distance range. A tunable artificial potential function is first designed to dynamically adjust the distance between adjacent high-speed trains with real-time train states. By regulating the parameters of the artificial potential function, the safety distance can be adjusted according to the required tolerance deviation of the actual distance. Under the proposed strategy, each high-speed train operates with the desired speed and tracks the preceding one with an adjustable distance range. Student classroom behavior performance is an important part of classroom teaching evaluation, and conducting student classroom behavior recognition is important for classroom teaching evaluation. The article proposes a deep learning-based student classroom behavior recognition method, which extracts the key information of the human skeleton from student behavior images and combines a 10-layer deep convolutional neural network (CNN-10) to recognize students' classroom behavior. To verify the effectiveness of this method, the paper conducts a comparison experiment on the student classroom behavior dataset using CNN-10 and the student classroom behavior recognition method. The experimental results show that the student classroom behavior recognition method can effectively exclude the interference of irrelevant information such as students' physique, dress, and classroom background, highlight the key effective information, and have higher recognition accuracy and generalization ability. Using the human skeleton and a deep learning-based student classroom behavior detection approach to identify students' typical classroom behaviors might improve intelligent classroom teaching by reflecting students' learning status in a timely and effective manner. This paper intensely studies the impact of the input nonlinearity caused by the transistor's feedback on the hybrid continuous class‐F power amplifier. The research extends the influence of input harmonics on class‐F power amplifiers to a more general form. Through waveform engineering, the impact of feedback is analyzed. By analyzing the change in cutoff angle caused by input nonlinearity, the change of the drain voltage and current waveforms of the hybrid continuous class‐F power amplifier can be obtained. The new drain voltage and current waveforms obtained from the analysis redefine the design space of source impedance and load impedance for the hybrid continuous class‐F power amplifier. By designing the corresponding input and output matching network, the second harmonic is suppressed, and finally, the hybrid continuous class‐F power amplifier achieves a high‐efficiency state. The research reveals that input harmonics also play an essential role in the design process of power amplifiers. A comparative experiment is designed to verify the theory. Simultaneously, a 1.6–2.8 GHz broadband hybrid continuous class‐F power amplifier is designed using this theory, with a saturation efficiency of more than 61.2% and a saturation power of more than 40.4 dBm. This paper proposed a novel distributed optimal control based on game strategy, in which the global optimization is achieved by equilibrizing subsystems’ performance just utilizing local information. To online solve the game control, an efficient multivariable extremum seeking algorithm was adapted to approximate the partial differential equation deduced by optimal condition. The convergence of the proposed approximate algorithm is proved by constructing a fictitious Lie bracket system using Lyapunov function. ABSTRACT There is currently a considerable interest in developing bio-based and green nanocomposites in industrial and technological areas owing to their biodegradability, biocompatibility, and environmental friendliness. In this study, a bio-based nanosized material, cellulose nanocrystals (CNC), extracted from southern pine pulp was employed as a reinforcing agent in a natural rubber (NR) matrix. NR/CNC nanocomposites were prepared by a solution mixing and casting method. The morphology, thermal, and mechanical properties of the nanocomposites were investigated using scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy, tensile tests, dynamic mechanical analysis, thermal gravimetric analysis, and differential scanning calorimetry. The CNC displayed a gradient dispersion in the nanocomposites, and no microscaled aggregates were observed. Both the tensile strength and modulus of the nanocomposites increased with the addition of CNC, accompanied by a slight decrease in elongation at break. The storage modulus also improved with the addition of CNC, which served as good evidence of the reinforcing tendency of CNC in the NR matrix. The thermal stability of the nanocomposites showed an insignificant decrease in CNC addition. The glass transition temperature of the nanocomposites was not influenced by CNC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The value of a cementation exponent, usually obtained by rock and electricity experiments, significantly affects the calculation of water saturation, thickness of the hydrocarbon reservoir, and recovery rate. The determination of the cementation exponent for porous-media reservoirs has been a challenge because of the limited core sampling. A new method was proposed to determine the value of cementation exponent for complex triple-porosity media reservoirs in the work. Firstly, the work discussed the effects of fractures and nonconnected vugs on the cementation exponent of the reservoir as well as the calculation method of the cementation exponent of the dual-porosity media reservoir. Then, a new model for calculating the cementation exponent of triple-porosity media reservoirs was derived by combining the Maxwell-Garnett theory and series-parallel theory, which matched with the real physical-experiment data of rocks. The results showed that the fractures decreased the cementation exponent of the reservoir but the vugs increased. The mixture of matrix pores, fractures, and vugs made the value of the cementation exponent of the triple-porosity media reservoir vary around 2.0. The conductivity of the triple-porosity media reservoir was the external macroscopic expression of the microscopic conductive network. The new calculation model of the cementation exponent proposed in the work could reasonably predict the cementation exponent of the strongly inhomogeneous triple-porosity media reservoir. Background. Qing Guang An Granule (QGAG), a Chinese patent medicine, has been used clinically to treat glaucoma for more than 20 years. Objective. To explore the possible mechanism of treatment of QGAG in glaucoma by using network pharmacology and molecular docking in this study. Methods. Active compounds and targets of each herb in QGAG were retrieved via the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform (TCMSP). Glaucoma-related targets were acquired from OMIM and DisGeNET database. Key targets of QGAG against glaucoma were acquired by overlapping the above targets via the Venn diagram. Using the DAVID, Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis of the key targets were performed. The docking process was performed using the AutoDock 4.2.6 and AutoDock Vina 1.1.2. Results. The 55 active compounds and 173 targets were obtained and constructed a compound-target network. The 20 key targets of QGAG in treating glaucoma were acquired, and these targets are involved in the apoptotic process, cellular response to hypoxia, negative regulation of cell growth, and ovarian follicle development. The main pathways are p53, HIF-1, PI3K-Akt, and neurotrophin signaling pathway. Conclusion. QGAG may exert a protective effect by acting on the optic nerve at a molecular and systemic level. Objective: To evaluate the effect of art therapy on cancer patients' quality of life and physical and psychological symptoms. Methods: The databases PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, The Cochrane Library, Clinical Trial.gov, the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang and the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM) were searched from their inception up to 20 August 2019. Trials examining the effects of art therapy on physical and psychological symptoms and quality of life versus a control group were included. The methodological quality of the included randomised controlled trials was assessed using the risk of bias tool of Cochrane Handbook. Meanwhile, the Newcastle‐Ottawa Quality Assessment Scale (NOS) was used to evaluate the methodological quality of the non‐randomised studies. Results: Twelve studies involving 587 cancer patients were included. The results revealed that art therapy significantly reduced anxiety symptoms (standard mean difference [SMD] = −0.46, 95% confidence interval [CI] [−0.90, 0.02], p =.04), depression symptoms (SMD = −0.47, 95% CI [−0.72, 0.21], p <.01), and fatigue (SMD = −0.38, 95% CI [−0.68, −0.09], p =.01) in cancer patients. Art therapy also significantly improved the quality of life of cancer patients (SMD = 0.43, 95% CI [0.18, 0.68], p <.01). The abundance of organic matter in shales, which has a direct effect on the hydrocarbon generation potential of shales, is an important organic geochemical parameter for evaluating shale gas reservoirs. The total organic carbon content (TOC content) in shale is controlled by the abundance of original sedimentary organic matter. Therefore, it is very important to study the mechanism of organic matter enrichment in shale. In this paper, the Lower Cambrian marine shales from the Lower Yangtze region are selected as the research subject, most of which originate from a typical area well called Well JXY1. The degree of pyritization (DOP) is used to characterize the redox environment of the water body, while the P/Al ratio is used to analyze the biological productivity of paleoseawater. The paleosalinity of seawater is calculated via carbon and oxygen isotope analysis. In addition, the early Cambrian hydrothermal activities were studied by using core description; Si, Al, Fe, and Mn elemental analysis; and oxygen isotope calculations. The results show that during the early Cambrian Wangyinpu sedimentary period, the seawater was an anaerobic water body with H2S, and the oxygen concentration was approximately 0 mL/L. In the middle stages of the Wangyinpu sedimentary period, the water body had the strongest reducibility and the highest biological productivity. Moreover, the paleoocean in this period between the Yangtze plate and the Cathaysian plate was greatly affected by hydrothermal activities, with temperatures ranging from 90°C to 120°C. Active hydrothermal activities promoted high biological productivity and an anaerobic environment, both of which were conducive to the preservation and enrichment of organic matter, resulting in extremely high TOC content in the Wangyinpu shales (from 6.5% to approximately 16%). Huoxin Pill (HXP), a traditional Chinese medicine, has been prescribed widely in the treatment of coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, and other diseases. However, the possible protective mechanisms of HXP on myocardial ischemia remain unclear. In the current study, we investigated the effects and potential mechanism of HXP on myocardial ischemia and cardiac inflammation and the activation of TLR4/NF-κB pathway. Determination of electrocardiogram, echocardiography, and heart weight index (HWI) indicated that HXP treatment obviously attenuated the elevation of ST-segment, end-diastolic volume, and HWI in the AMI rat model. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) demonstrated that Huoxin Pill treatment significantly decreased the levels of CTnT, CK-MB, MDA, IL-6, and TNF-α, while it increased SOD content in serum of the AMI rat model. Moreover, hematoxylin and eosin (HE) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining revealed that HXP treatment alleviated pathological change, infiltration of inflammatory cells, levels of IL-6 and TNF-α, and expression of TLR4 and p-NF-κB in cardiac tissues of the AMI rat model. In conclusion, HXP treatment significantly improves cardiac function and attenuates cardiac inflammation by suppressing the activation of TLR4/NF-κB pathway in the ISO-induced AMI rat model. Objective. To undertake an overview on the overall effects of Tripterygium glycosides (TG) combined with Leflunomide (LEF) for rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Methods. We searched electronic databases from database establishment time to December 1, 2019. The clinical trial data of TG combined with LEF (trial group) and control group in the treatment of RA were collected. The Cochrane system was used to evaluate the quality of the literature. RevMan 5.3 software was used to conduct a meta-analysis of the eligible studies. Results. A total of 12 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) involving 834 patients with RA were included in this study. The meta-analysis results showed that morning stiffness (mean difference (MD) = −0.29, 95% confidential interval (CI) (−0.45, −0.12), P = 0.0005), tender joint count (MD = −1.51, 95% CI (−2.20, −0.83), P = 0.0001), swollen joint count (MD = -1.24, 95% CI (−1.59, −0.88), P = 0.0001), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (MD = −7.26, 95% CI (−9.92, −4.61), P = 0.0001), C-reactive protein (MD = −4.04, 95% CI (−4.93, −3.14), P = 0.0001), and rheumatoid factor (MD = −50.88, 95% CI (−72.30, −29.45), P = 0.0001) in the trial groups were lower than those in the control groups. The total effective rate in the trial group was better than that in the control group (risk ratio (RR) = 1.20, 95% CI (1.13, 1.28), P = 0.00001). However, there was no significant difference of adverse events (RR = 0.83, 95% CI (0.61, 1.13), P = 0.23) while comparing the trial groups with the control groups. Conclusion. Background. Administration of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) often causes small intestinal ulcers in patients, but few effective drugs are currently available to manage such serious adverse events of NSAIDs. Li-Zhong decoction (LZD), a well-known traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula, is commonly prescribed for treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. The present study aimed to investigate the anti-ulcerogenic activity of LZD on indomethacin- (IND-) induced duodenal ulcer in rats. Mechanistic studies of action of LZD were focused on involvement of TLR-2/MyD88 signaling pathway. Methods. Fifty male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly and evenly divided into five groups: normal control, ulcer control (IND, 25 mg/kg), IND + esomeprazole (ESO, 4.17 mg/kg), and IND + low and high doses of LZD (3.75 and 7.50 g/kg). Macroscopic and histopathological examinations were performed for evaluation of ulcer index (UI), curative index (CI), and microscopic score (MS). Levels of duodenal inflammatory biomarkers and cytoprotective mediators including interleukin-4 (IL-4), IL-10, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) were measured by ELISA. Expression levels of TLR-2 and MyD88 mRNA were assessed by qRT-PCR. The expression and distribution of TLR-2 and MyD88 proteins were analyzed by western blot and immunohistochemistry, respectively. Results. Gross and microscopic examinations of the IND-treated rats revealed severe duodenal hemorrhagic necrosis, inflammatory infiltration, villus destruction, and crypt abscess, while LZD-treated rats manifested these pathological events to a markedly lesser degree. LZD significantly decreased UI and MS, increased CI, preserved the integrity of the villus and crypt, and normalized the tissue architecture of the duodenum of rats. The elevated TNF-α levels in the IND-treated rats were markedly diminished in the LZD-treated rats, while lower levels of IL-4, IL-10, and PGE2 observed in IND-treated rats were significantly increased in LZD-treated rats. Interestingly, improvement of immune function in duodenal mucosa by reduction of mRNA and protein expression levels of TLR-2 and MyD88 was also observed in rats treated with LZD. Consistently, immunohistochemical analyses revealed a lower co-localization of TLR-2 and MyD88 proteins in the duodenal mucosa of LZD-treated rats as compared to the IND-induced rats. Conclusions. Our data demonstrate that LZD protects the duodenal mucosa from IND-caused lesions, which is at least partially attributable to the interaction of its potential cytoprotective and anti-inflammatory mechanisms together with enhancement of the mucosal immunity through TLR-2/MyD88 signaling pathway. The use of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) has been proven benefits, but it also has adverse events in colorectal cancer (CRC) chemotherapy. In this study, we explored the mechanism of 5-FU resistance by bioinformatics analysis of the NCBI public dataset series GSE81005. Fifteen hub genes were screened out of 582 different expressed genes. Modules of the hub genes in protein-protein interaction networks gathered to TOP2α showed a decrease in HCT-8 cells but an increase in 5-FU-resistant HCT-8/5-FU cells with 5-FU exposure. Downregulation of TOP2α with siRNA or miR-494 transfection resulted in an increase of cytotoxicity and decrease of cell colonies to 5-FU for HCT-8/5-FU cells. Moreover, we found that an ethanol extract of Spica Prunellae (EESP), which is a traditional Chinese medicine with clinically beneficial effects in various cancers, was able to enhance the sensitivity of 5-FU in HCT-8/5-FU cells and partly reverse the 5-FU resistance effect. It significantly helped suppress cell growth and induced cell apoptosis in HCT-8/5-FU cells with the expression of TOP2α being significantly suppressed, which increased by 5-FU. Consistently, miR-494, which reportedly regulates TOP2α, exhibited reverse trends in EESP/5-FU combination treatment. Purpose. To investigate the characteristics of blood in nonsyndromic retinitis pigmentosa (RP) and reveal the pathogenesis of blood cells involved in blood stasis in RP. Design. This is a retrospective observational study. Methods. We collected vein blood from 101 cases of patients with nonsyndromic RP and 120 cases of normal individuals according to a single-blind study and used routine clinical examination to detect the indicators of blood. All the subjects were mainly from the central south of China. Data were analyzed statistically between the RP group and normal control. Results. The indicator of platelet distribution width (PDW) in patients with RP was higher than that in the normal group; the indicators of red blood cell (RBCs), hemoglobin (HGB), hematocrit (HCT), basophils (BASs), platelets (PLTs), and plateletcrit (PCT) in the RP group were lower than those in the normal control. The differences were statistically very significant between the RP group and normal group (p<0.01). There were no statistical differences in the other indicators between the RP and normal group. Conclusions. The changes in RBCs and PLTs in patients with RP implied that RP induces RBC aggregation and platelet activation, leading to blood stasis which in turn initiates more apoptosis. The study aims to investigate the effects of the alcohol extract of Coreopsis tinctoria Nutt (AC) on diabetic nephropathy (DN) mice. A total of 30 db/db (DN) mice were divided into 3 groups, which were treated with AC (300 mg/kg/day), metformin (180 mg/kg/day), or saline by gavage for 10 weeks. Ten db/m mice treated with saline were used as normal control (NC group). Body weight (BW) and fasting blood glucose (FBG), HbA1c, 24 h urinary albumin excretion (UAE), and renal pathological fibrosis were analyzed. Expression of miR-192, miR-200b, and proteins in the PTEN/PI3K/AKT pathway was analyzed by qPCR or western blot. The DN mice had significantly higher BW, FBG, and 24 h UAE, as well as more severe pathological fibrosis when compared with NC. Treatment of AC could decrease BW, FBG, and 24 h UAE and alleviated kidney damage. Compared with the NC group, expressions of miR-192 and miR-200b were increased, whereas their target proteins (ZEB2 and PTEN) were reduced in the kidneys of DN mice, which further modulated the expression of their downstream proteins PI3K p85α, P-AKT, P-smad3, and COL4 α1; these proteins were increased in the kidneys of DN mice. In contrast, AC treatment reversed the expression changes of these proteins. These findings demonstrate that AC may protect the kidneys of DN mice by decreasing miR-192 and miR-200b, which could further regulate their target gene expression and modulate the activity of the PTEN/PI3K/AKT pathway to reduce the degree of renal fibrosis. Qingxuan Jiangya Decoction (QXJYD) is a traditional Chinese medicine commonly used in the clinical treatment of hypertension. Earlier studies had shown that QXJYD could inhibit the elevation of blood pressure in spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs) and prevent remodeling of arterial vessels. This study examines the therapeutic efficacy of QXJYD against elevated blood pressure using the SHR model, as well as the mechanisms behind its antihypertensive activity and protection against renal fibrosis. The results showed that QXJYD significantly attenuated the increase in blood pressure in SHRs and mitigated the development of renal interstitial fibrosis. In addition, QXJYD also robustly decreased the excess accumulation of extracellular matrix and attenuated the elevated expression of MMPs. The antihypertensive effects and renal protection of QXJYD were determined to be strongly associated with inhibition of TGF-β1/Smad signaling pathway. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Hempseed (Cannabis sativa L.) has been used as a health food and folk medicine in China for centuries. In the present study, we sought to define the underlying mechanism by which the extract of Fructus Cannabis (EFC) protects against memory impairment induced by D-galactose in rats. To accelerate aging and induce memory impairment in rats, D-galactose (400 mg/kg) was injected intraperitoneally once daily for 14 weeks. EFC (200 and 400 mg/kg) was simultaneously administered intragastrically once daily in an attempt to slow the aging process. We found that EFC significantly increased the activity of superoxide dismutase, while lowering levels of malondialdehyde in the hippocampus. Moreover, EFC dramatically elevated the organ indices of some organs, including the heart, the liver, the thymus, and the spleen. In addition, EFC improved the behavioral performance of rats treated with D-galactose in the Morris water maze. Furthermore, EFC inhibited the activation of astrocytes and remarkably attenuated phosphorylated tau and suppressed the expression of presenilin 1 in the brain of D-galactose-treated rats. These findings suggested that EFC exhibits beneficial effects on the cognition of aging rats probably by enhancing antioxidant capacity and anti-neuroinflammation, improving immune function, and modulating tau phosphorylation and presenilin expression. Aim. To investigate whether tumor size is a reasonable indication for adjuvant chemotherapy for T3-4aN0M0 gastric cancer patients after D2 gastrectomy. Method. We performed a retrospective study of 269 patients with a histological diagnosis of T3-4aN0M0 stage gastric cancer who underwent D2 radical surgery at the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center or the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University between January 2006 and December 2010. The follow-up lasted until June of 2015. Chi-square tests and Kaplan-Meier methods were employed to compare the clinicopathological variables and prognoses. Result. For this group of patients, univariate analyses revealed that tumor size (p<0.001), pathological T stage (p<0.001), and tumor location (p=0.025) were significant prognostic factors. Adjuvant chemotherapy did not exhibit prognostic benefits. For patients with tumors larger than 5 cm, univariate analysis revealed that tumor location (p=0.007), Borrmann type (p=0.039), postoperative chemotherapy (p=0.003), and pathological T stage (p<0.001) were significant prognostic factors. Multivariate analysis revealed that postoperative chemotherapy and pathological T stage were independent prognostic factors. Conclusion. Our results imply that tumor size should be a critical factor in the decision to utilize adjuvant chemotherapy for T3-4aN0M0 gastric cancer patients after D2 gastrectomy. We propose a novel fault-tolerant cooperative control strategy for multiagent systems. A set of unknown input observers for each agent are constructed for fault detection. Then a real-time adaptive extremum seeking algorithm is utilized for adaptive approximation of fault parameter. We prove that the consensus can be still reached by regulating the interconnection weights and changing the connection topology of the fault agent.
