Based on this evidence we decided to use tildrakizumab, an interleukin-23 inhibitor, to treat a patient with therapy-refractory SAPHO syndrome which resulted in a significant improvement of her condition. To our knowledge, this is the first case report of successful treatment of SAPHO syndrome with tildrakizumab, proving that the IL-23 inhibitor tildrakizumab is effective in the treatment of therapy-refractory SAPHO syndrome.
