This article is concerned with the study of the theory of basic sets in Fréchet modules in Clifford analysis. The main aim of this account, which is based on functional analysis consideration, is to formulate criteria of general type for the effectiveness (convergence properties) of basic sets either in the space itself or in a subspace of finer topology. By attributing particular forms for the Fréchetmodule of different classes of functions, conditions are derived fromthe general criteria for the convergence properties in open and closed balls. We define the generalized golden- and product-shaped hypersurfaces in real space forms. A hypersurface M in real space forms Rn+1, Sn+1, and Hn+1 is isoparametric if it has constant principal curvatures. We investigate certain recently introduced ODE-determined varying exponent Lp spaces. It turns out that these spaces are finitely representable in a concrete universal varying exponent lp space. Moreover, this can be accomplished in a natural unified fashion. We define D-u-anisotropic two-microlocal spaces by decay conditions on anisotropic wavelet coefficients on any D-u-anisotropic wavelet basis of L²(ℝd). We prove that these spaces allow the characterizing of pointwise anisotropic Hölder regularity. We also prove an anisotropic wavelet criterion for anisotropic uniform regularity. We study the boundedness of Φ-admissible sublinear singular operators on Orlicz-Morrey spaces MΦ, φ(ℝn). We study the regularity of the solutions of the surface quasi-geostrophic equation with subcritical exponent 1/2 < α ≤ 1. We prove that if the initial data is small enough in the critical space Ḣ2-2α(ℝ²), then the regularity of the solution is of exponential growth type with respect to time and its Ḣ2-2α(ℝ²) norm decays exponentially fast. It becomes then infinitely differentiable with respect to time and has value in all homogeneous Sobolev spaces Ḣs(ℝ²) for s ≥ 2 - 2α. We present a semilocal convergence analysis for a uniparametric family of efficient secant-like methods (including the secant and Kurchatovmethod as special cases) in a Ban ach space setting (Ezquerro et al., 2000-2012). Using our idea of recurrent functions and tighter majorizing sequences, we provide convergence results under the same or less computational cost than the ones of Ezquerro et al., (2013, 2010, and 2012) and Hernández et al., (2000, 2005, and 2002) and with the following advantages: weaker sufficient convergence conditions, tighter error estimates on the distances involved, and at least as precise information on the location of the solution. We continue our research on Sobolev spaces on locally compact abelian (LCA) groups motivated by our work on equations with infinitely many derivatives of interest for string theory and cosmology. In this paper, we focus on compact embedding results and we prove an analog for LCA groups of the classical Rellich lemma and of the Rellich-Kondrachov compactness theorem. By applying the remarkable orthonormal basis constructed recently by Ausher and Hytönen on spaces of homogeneous type in the sense of Coifman and Weiss, pointwise multipliers of inhomogeneous Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces are obtained. We present an overview of the known results describing the isometric and closed-range composition operators on different types of holomorphic function spaces. We construct a dyon solution for the noncommutative version of the Yang-Mills-Higgs model with a ϑ-term. Extending the Noether method to the case of a noncommutative gauge theory, we analyze the effect of CP violation induced both by the ϑ- term and by noncommutativity proving that the Witten effect formula for the dyon charge remains the same as in ordinary space.
