Blockchain technology has been changing the trust system through machine endorsement and mathematical algorithms, laying a technical foundation for network identity from centralized to decentralized management. The decentralized identity with core features, such as "no need for a management center and self-managed identities" have become a key direction for the evolution of a new generation of digital identity based on blockchain. Internationally, the United States, the EU, and other countries have promoted the technological exploration and application innovation of the decentralized identity, aiming to seize the international discourse power in the digital space. This paper establishes an evaluation model of international engagement in the decentralized identity field and takes the United States as a case to analyze the current development status and international engagement of the decentralized identity from multiple dimensions. Colon and rectal cancers are the most common kinds of cancer globally. Colon cancer is more prevalent in men than in women. Early detection increases the likelihood of survival, and treatment significantly increases the likelihood of eradicating the disease. The Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) programme is an excellent source of domestic cancer statistics. SEER includes nearly 30% of the United States population, covering various races and geographic locations. The data are made public via the SEER website when a SEER limited-use data agreement form is submitted and approved. We investigate data from the SEER programme, specifically colon cancer statistics, in this study. Our objective is to create reliable colon cancer survival and conditional survival prediction algorithms. In this study, we have presented an overview of cancer diagnosis methods and the treatments used to cure cancer. This paper presents an analysis of prediction performance of multiple deep learning approaches. The performance of multiple deep learning models is thoroughly examined to discover which algorithm surpasses the others, followed by an investigation of the network's prediction accuracy. The simulation outcomes indicate that automated prediction models can predict colon cancer patient survival. The detection of pulmonary nodules is one of the most studied problems in the field of medical image analysis due to the great difficulty in the early detection of such nodules and their social impact. The traditional approach involves the development of a multistage CAD system capable of informing the radiologist of the presence or absence of nodules. One stage in such systems is the detection of ROI (regions of interest) that may be nodules in order to reduce the space of the problem. This paper evaluates fuzzy clustering algorithms that employ different classification strategies to achieve this goal. After characterising these algorithms, the authors propose a new algorithm and different variations to improve the results obtained initially. Finally it is shown as the most recent developments in fuzzy clustering are able to detect regions that may be nodules in CT studies. Background: Precise risk prediction of type 1 diabetes (T1D) facilitates early intervention and identification of risk factors prior to irreversible beta‐islet cell destruction, and can significantly improve T1D prevention and clinical care. Sharp et al. developed a genetic risk scoring (GRS) system for T1D (T1D‐GRS2) capable of predicting T1D risk in children of European ancestry. The T1D‐GRS2 was developed on the basis of causal genetic variants, thus may be applicable to minor populations, while a trans‐ethnic GRS for T1D may avoid the exacerbation of health disparities due to the lack of genomic information in minorities. Methods: Here, we describe a T1D‐GRS2 calculator validated in two independent cohorts, including African American children and European American children. Participants were recruited by the Center for Applied Genomics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Results: It demonstrates that GRS2 is applicable to the T1D risk prediction in the AA cohort, while population‐specific thresholds are needed for different populations. Objective. Evidence regarding the relationship between vitamin A and HPV infection was limited. Therefore, this study is designed to investigate whether vitamin A was independently related to HPV infection in 13412 American women from NHANES for seven cycles. Methods. The present study is a cross-sectional study. A total of 13412 eligible participants who had available HPV tests and vitamin A intake data were registered in the NHANE database from 2003 to 2016. The targeted independent variable and the dependent variable were vitamin A measured at baseline and HPV infection, respectively. We analyzed the association between dietary vitamin A intake and the prevalence of HPV infection. Besides, GAM and smooth curve fittings were used to address the nonlinear relationship between vitamin A and HPV infection to determine the effect of HPV infection. Results. The result of fully adjusted binary logistic regression showed vitamin A was not associated with the risk of HPV infection after adjusting confounders (odds ratio = 0.97, 95% confidence interval: 0.97–1.02). A nonlinear relationship was detected between vitamin A and HPV infection, whose inflection point was 10.5 of log2 vitamin A (by the recursive algorithm). One unit increase of log2 vitamin A is associated with the 10% reduced risk of HPV infection when dietary vitamin A is < 1448.155mcg. Conversely, when the dietary vitamin A intake is ≧1448.155 mcg, for each additional log2 of vitamin A, the risk of HPV infection increased by 70%. Conclusions. We found that dietary vitamin A was quite different from the trend of HPV infection in different confidence intervals. The results suggested that an appropriate amount (95% CI: 0.9–1.0, <10.5 of log2 transformer, i.e., 1448.155 mcg) of dietary vitamin A may be beneficial to prevent HPV infection. However, excessive intake of dietary vitamin A (95% CI: 1.1–2.8, ≧10.5 of log2 transformer, i.e., 1448.155 mcg) may increase the risk of HPV infection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective. To establish and validate a decision tree model to predict the recurrence of intrauterine adhesions (IUAs) in patients after separation of moderate-to-severe IUAs. Design. A retrospective study. Setting. A tertiary hysteroscopic center at a teaching hospital. Population. Patients were retrospectively selected who had undergone hysteroscopic adhesion separation surgery for treatment of moderate-to-severe IUAs. Interventions. Hysteroscopic adhesion separation surgery and second-look hysteroscopy 3 months later. Measurements and Main Results. Patients' demographics, clinical indicators, and hysteroscopy data were collected from the electronic database of the hospital. The patients were randomly apportioned to either a training or testing set (332 and 142 patients, respectively). A decision tree model of adhesion recurrence was established with a classification and regression tree algorithm and validated with reference to a multivariate logistic regression model. The decision tree model was constructed based on the training set. The classification node variables were the risk factors for recurrence of IUAs: American Fertility Society score (root node variable), isolation barrier, endometrial thickness, tubal opening, uterine volume, and menstrual volume. The accuracies of the decision tree model and multivariate logistic regression analysis model were 75.35% and 76.06%, respectively, and areas under the receiver operating characteristic curve were 0.763 (95% CI 0.681–0.846) and 0.785 (95% CI 0.702–0.868). Conclusions. The decision tree model can readily predict the recurrence of IUAs and provides a new theoretical basis upon which clinicians can make appropriate clinical decisions.
