One of the most widely used measures of scientific impact is the number of citations. However, due to its heavy-tailed distribution, citations are fundamentally difficult to predict but can be improved. This study was aimed at investigating the factors and parts influencing the citation number of a scientific paper in the otology field. Therefore, this work proposes a new solution that utilizes machine learning and natural language processing to process English text and provides a paper citation as the predicted results. Different algorithms are implemented in this solution, such as linear regression, boosted decision tree, decision forest, and neural networks. The application of neural network regression revealed that papers' abstracts have more influence on the citation numbers of otological articles. This new solution has been developed in visual programming using Microsoft Azure machine learning at the back end and Programming Without Coding Technology at the front end. With the emergence and vigorous development of 5G technology, there is a significant surge in network usage and traffic, resulting in heightened complexity within network and IT environments. This exponential increase in activity produces a plethora of events, making conventional systems inadequate for the efficient management of 5G networks. In comparison to 4G technology, 5G technology brings forth a host of new features, one of which is the network data analytics function (NWDAF). This function grants network operators the flexibility to either employ their own data analytics methodologies based on machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) into their networks. In this paper, we present a dataset named "NWDAF-NFPP" for network function performance time series prediction, collected from a laboratory at China Telecom. The dataset is carefully anonymized to ensure maximum realism and comprehensiveness, while safeguarding sensitive information. It encompasses eight categories of network functions, with data collected at five-minute intervals. The availability of this dataset provides valuable resources for researchers to conduct time series prediction research on network element performance. Following data collection, a total of six models were employed for network element performance prediction, encompassing both machine learning and deep learning approaches. This diverse set of models was carefully chosen to ensure comprehensive coverage of different techniques and algorithms. Through the comparison and analysis of these models, we aim to evaluate their predictive capabilities and identify the most effective approach for network element performance prediction. Mechanical properties are important indicators for evaluating the quality of strips. This paper proposes a mechanical performance prediction model based on the Gray Wolf Optimization (GWO) algorithm and the Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) algorithm. In the modeling process, GWO is used to determine the optimal weights and deviations of ELM and experiments are used to determine the model's key parameters. The model effectively avoids manual intervention and significantly improves aluminum alloy strips' mechanical property prediction accuracy. This paper uses processed data from the aluminum alloy production plant of Shandong Nanshan Aluminum Co., Ltd. as experimental data. When the prediction deviation is controlled within ±10%, the GWO-ELM model can achieve a correct rate of 100% for tensile strength, 97.5% for yield strength, and 77.5% for elongation on the test set. The RMSE of the tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation of the GWO-ELM model was 5.365, 11.881, and 1.268, respectively. The experimental results show that the GWO-ELM model has higher accuracy and stability in predicting aluminum alloy strips' tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation. Artificial intelligence (AI) scholars and mediciners have reported AI systems that accurately detect medical imaging and COVID-19 in chest images. However, the robustness of these models remains unclear for the segmentation of images with nonuniform density distribution or the multiphase target. The most representative one is the Chan-Vese (CV) image segmentation model. In this paper, we demonstrate that the recent level set (LV) model has excellent performance on the detection of target characteristics from medical imaging relying on the filtering variational method based on the global medical pathology facture. We observe that the capability of the filtering variational method to obtain image feature quality is better than other LV models. This research reveals a far-reaching problem in medical-imaging AI knowledge detection. In addition, from the analysis of experimental results, the algorithm proposed in this paper has a good effect on detecting the lung region feature information of COVID-19 images and also proves that the algorithm has good adaptability in processing different images. In the face of the batch, dynamic access data, or the flow of data that continuous changes over time, the traditional support vector machine algorithm cannot dynamically adjust the previous classification model. To overcome this shortcoming, the incremental support vector machine (ISVM) algorithm is proposed. However, many incremental support vector algorithms still have shortcomings such as low efficiency, memory limitation, and poor generalization. This paper puts forward the new ISVM algorithm, HDFC-ISVM ∗ algorithm, based on the high-dimensional distance and forgetting characteristics. This paper firstly proposes the original HDFC-ISVM algorithm that first learns the distribution characteristics of the samples according to the distance between the samples and the normative hyperplane. Then, it introduces the forgetting factor. In the incremental learning process, the classifier gradually accumulates the spatial distribution knowledge of samples, eliminates the samples that have no contributions to the classifier, and selectively forgets some useless samples according to the forgetting factor, which overcomes the shortcomings such as low efficiency and poor accuracy of some algorithms. But, the original HDFC-ISVM algorithm is sensitive to parameters, and different settings of the parameters have a great impact on the final classification accuracy of the algorithm. Therefore, on the basis of the original algorithm, an improved algorithm HDFC-ISVM ∗ based on the adjustments to the initialization strategy and updating rules of the forgetting factor is proposed. The initialization strategy and updating rules of the forgetting factor are adjusted to adapt datasets with different distributions in this improved algorithm. The rationality of the improved strategy about the forgetting factor is discussed theoretically. Based on a machine learning algorithm, this paper deeply explores the privacy protection of personal information. In this paper, the definition of the machine learning algorithm is put forward, the design idea of privacy protection in joint machine learning platform is studied, and the architecture model and model parameter updating strategy of joint machine learning under privacy protection are designed. To protect the privacy of personal information, this paper also proposes a data homomorphic verification mechanism to prevent the global parameters from being tampered with by malicious cloud servers. In order to verify the performance of the models constructed in this paper, the comparative experiments of different models are carried out. The experimental results show that this algorithm has a fast convergence speed, and the average error rate decreases by 4.17% compared with the traditional algorithm. Moreover, the accuracy of this algorithm reaches 95.37%, which is about 8.76% higher than the previous algorithm. This paper implements an automatic classification and integration algorithm for vocal performance learning materials using machine learning technology and tests it on the corresponding dataset, beginning with multidimensional association rule mining technology and the premise that multimedia data contain numerous useful characteristics. Experiments demonstrate the classification precision and data integration capacity of the proposed algorithm. Vocal performance is the most engaging course in musicology. To cultivate corresponding talents, we can rely on college and university offline courses and the rapidly developing multimedia technology to train talents online. An important topic is how to efficiently select and classify curriculum materials of varying quality in order to provide them to students with different learning needs. We can achieve the automatic classification of the course content by leveraging the superior learning capabilities of artificial intelligence and machine learning technology. In order to improve the scientificity of sports action analysis, this paper constructs a sports action analysis model based on machine learning based on the greedy algorithm and the bat algorithm. According to the structural characteristics of the model, the structure of the model is reflected in the form of face order, that is, the face neighborhood structure. Moreover, this paper judges the degree of similarity between model faces through the pros and cons of the order and applies it to the structural similarity matrix between models. The research on artistic psychological intervention to judge emotional fluctuations by extracting emotional features from interactive vocal signals has become a research topic with great potential for development. Based on the interactive vocal music instruction theory of emotion recognition, this paper studies the design of artistic psychological intervention system. This paper uses the vocal music emotion recognition algorithm to first train the interactive recognition network, in which the input is a row vector composed of different vocal music characteristics, and finally recognizes the vocal music of different emotional categories, which solves the problem of low data coupling in the artistic psychological intervention system. Among them, the vocal music emotion recognition experiment based on the interactive recognition network is mainly carried out from six aspects: the number of iterative training, the vocal music instruction rate, the number of emotion recognition signal nodes in the artistic psychological intervention layer, the number of sample sets, different feature combinations, and the number of emotion types. The input data of the system is a training class learning video, and actions and expressions need to be recognized before scoring. In the simulation process, before the completion of the sample indicators is unbalanced, the R language statistical analysis tool is used to balance the existing unbalanced data based on the artificial data synthesis method, and 279 uniformly classified samples are obtained. This paper proposes a new algorithm composition network from the perspective of machine learning, based on an in-depth study of related literature. At the same time, this paper examines the characteristics of music and develops a model for recognising musical emotions. Using the model's information entropy of pitch and intensity to extract the main melody track, note features are extracted from bar features. Finally, the cosine of the vector included angle is used to judge the similarity between feature vectors of several adjacent sections, allowing the music to be divided into several independent segments. The emotional model of music is used to analyze each segment's emotion. By quantifying music features, this paper classifies and quantifies music emotion based on the mapping relationship between music features and emotion. Music emotion can be accurately identified by the model. The model's emotion recognition accuracy is up to 93.78 percent, and the algorithm's recall rate is up to 96.3 percent, according to simulation results. Irony recognition is an important research direction in text sentiment analysis, which contributes to discover ironic tone to judge text emotion correctly. The object of this paper is the application of deep learning to irony recognition, and the research aims to solve the problem that existing machine learning algorithms have difficulty in discriminating ironic tones. Aiming at the irony recognition of Chinese social comments, DC-BiGRU-CNN is proposed from the perspective of structural optimization rather than a text vectorization mechanism point of view, which is a dual-channel CNN combined with BiGRU, and incorporates attention mechanism and multigranularity convolutional neural network as the main framework. This paper first briefly discusses the difficulties of irony recognition and provides an overview of existing text sentiment analysis algorithms. The K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm is a classical machine learning algorithm. Most KNN algorithms are based on a single metric and do not further distinguish between repeated values in the range of K values, which can lead to a reduced classification effect and thus affect the accuracy of fault diagnosis. In this paper, a hybrid metric-based KNN algorithm is proposed to calculate a composite metric containing distance and direction information between test samples, which improves the discriminability of the samples. In the experiments, the hybrid metric KNN (HM-KNN) algorithm proposed in this paper is compared and validated with a variety of KNN algorithms based on a single distance metric on six data sets, and an HM-KNN application method is given for the forward gait stability control of a bipedal robot, where the abnormal motion is considered as a fault, and the distribution of zero moment points when the abnormal motion is generated is compared. Aiming at the problem that unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) is difficult to quickly and accurately perceive situation information and make maneuvering decision autonomously in modern air combat, which is easily affected by complex factors, a maneuvering decision algorithm of UCAV combined with deep reinforcement learning and game theory is proposed in this paper. Firstly, through the UCAV dynamics model and maneuver library, a reasonable air combat situation assessment model and advantage reward function are established, and the sample data of situation assessment indicators are constructed using the structure entropy weight method. Secondly, the convolutional neural network (CNN) is used to process the high-dimensional continuous situation features of UCAV in air combat, eliminate the correlation and redundancy between situation features, and train the neural network to approximate the action-value function. Then, the double deep Q network (DDQN) algorithm in reinforcement learning (RL) is introduced to train the agent by the interaction with the environment and combined with Minimax algorithm in stochastic game theory to solve the optimal value function in each specific state, and the optimal maneuver decision of UCAV is obtained. Air combat simulation results show that UCAV can choose maneuvers autonomously under different situations and occupy a dominant position quickly by this method, which greatly improves the combat effectiveness of UCAV. With the rapid development of DNA high-throughput testing technology, there is a high correlation between DNA sequence variation and human diseases, and detecting whether there is variation in DNA sequence has become a hot research topic at present. DNA sequence variation is relatively rare, and the establishment of DNA sequence sparse matrix, which can quickly detect and reason fusion variation point, has become an important work of tumor gene testing. Because there are differences between the current comparison software and mutation detection software in detecting the same sample, there are errors between the results of derivative sequence comparison and the detection of mutation. In this paper, a cognitive electronic jamming decision-making method based on improved Q -learning is proposed to improve the efficiency of radar jamming decision-making. First, the method adopts the simulated annealing (SA) algorithm's Metropolis criterion to enhance the exploration strategy, balancing the contradictory relationship between exploration and utilization in the algorithm to avoid falling into local optima. At the same time, the idea of stochastic gradient descent with warm restarts (SGDR) is introduced to improve the learning rate of the algorithm, which reduces the oscillation and improves convergence speed at the later stage of the algorithm iteration. Then, a cognitive electronic jamming decision-making model is constructed, and the improved Q -learning algorithm's specific steps are given. The simulation experiment takes a multifunctional radar as an example to analyze the influence of exploration strategy and learning rate on decision-making performance. The results reveal that compared with the traditional Q -learning algorithm, the improved Q -learning algorithm proposed in this paper can fully explore and efficiently utilize and converge the results to a better solution at a faster speed. The communication recognition of mobile phone core is a test of the development of machine vision. The size of mobile phone core is very small, so it is difficult to identify small defects. Based on the in-depth study of the algorithm, combined with the actual needs of core identification, this paper improves the algorithm and proposes an intelligent algorithm suitable for core identification. In addition, according to the actual needs of core wire recognition, this paper makes an intelligent analysis of the core wire recognition process. The use of neural machine algorithms for English translation is a hot topic in the current research. English translation using the traditional sequential neural framework, which is too poor at capturing long-distance information, has its own major limitations. However, the current improved frameworks, such as recurrent neural network translation, are not satisfactory either. In this paper, we establish an attention coding and decoding model to address the shortcomings of traditional machine translation algorithms, combine the attention mechanism with a neural network framework, and implement the whole English translation system based on TensorFlow, thus improving the translation accuracy. The experimental test results show that the BLUE values of the algorithm model built in this paper are improved to different degrees compared with the traditional machine learning algorithms, which proves that the performance of the proposed algorithm model is significantly improved compared with the traditional model. Traditional text annotation-based video retrieval is done by manually labeling videos with text, which is inefficient and highly subjective and generally cannot accurately describe the meaning of videos. Traditional content-based video retrieval uses convolutional neural networks to extract the underlying feature information of images to build indexes and achieves similarity retrieval of video feature vectors according to certain similarity measure algorithms. In this paper, by studying the characteristics of sports videos, we propose the histogram difference method based on using transfer learning and the four-step method based on block matching for mutation detection and fading detection of video shots, respectively. By adaptive thresholding, regions with large frame difference changes are marked as candidate regions for shots, and then the shot boundaries are determined by mutation detection algorithm. Combined with the characteristics of sports video, this paper proposes a key frame extraction method based on clustering and optical flow analysis, and experimental comparison with the traditional clustering method. Image recognition tasks involve an increasingly high amount of symmetric positive definite (SPD) matrices data. SPD manifolds exhibit nonlinear geometry, and Euclidean machine learning methods cannot be directly applied to SPD manifolds. The kernel trick of SPD manifolds is based on the concept of projecting data onto a reproducing kernel Hilbert space. Unfortunately, existing kernel methods do not consider the connection of SPD matrices and linear projections. Thus, a framework that uses the correlation between SPD matrices and projections to model the kernel map is proposed herein. To realize this, this paper formulates a Hilbert–Schmidt independence criterion (HSIC) regularization framework based on the kernel trick, where HSIC is usually used to express the interconnectedness of two datasets. The proposed framework allows us to extend the existing kernel methods to new HSIC regularization kernel methods. Additionally, this paper proposes an algorithm called HSIC regularized graph discriminant analysis (HRGDA) for SPD manifolds based on the HSIC regularization framework. The deep Q-network (DQN) is one of the most successful reinforcement learning algorithms, but it has some drawbacks such as slow convergence and instability. In contrast, the traditional reinforcement learning algorithms with linear function approximation usually have faster convergence and better stability, although they easily suffer from the curse of dimensionality. In recent years, many improvements to DQN have been made, but they seldom make use of the advantage of traditional algorithms to improve DQN. In this paper, we propose a novel Q-learning algorithm with linear function approximation, called the minibatch recursive least squares Q-learning (MRLS-Q). Different from the traditional Q-learning algorithm with linear function approximation, the learning mechanism and model structure of MRLS-Q are more similar to those of DQNs with only one input layer and one linear output layer. It uses the experience replay and the minibatch training mode and uses the agent's states rather than the agent's state-action pairs as the inputs. As a result, it can be used alone for low-dimensional problems and can be seamlessly integrated into DQN as the last layer for high-dimensional problems as well. In addition, MRLS-Q uses our proposed average RLS optimization technique, so that it can achieve better convergence performance whether it is used alone or integrated with DQN. However, there are a lot of interference noises in the water, which leads to the reduction of the model recognition rate. Therefore, the recognition results of radiated noise targets are severely affected. This paper proposes a machine learning Dempster–Shafer (ML-DS) decision fusion method. The algorithm combines the recognition results of machine learning and deep learning. It uses evidence-based decision-making theory to realize feature fusion under different neural network classifiers and improve the accuracy of judgment. First, deep learning algorithms are used to classify two-dimensional spectrogram features and one-dimensional amplitude features extracted from CNN and LSTM networks. The machine learning algorithm SVM is used to classify the chromaticity characteristics of radiated noise. Then, according to the classification results of different classifiers, a basic probability assignment model (BPA) was designed to fuse the recognition results of the classifiers. Finally, according to the classification characteristics of machine learning and deep learning, combined with the decision-making of D-S evidence theory of different times, the decision-making fusion of radiated noise is realized. The results of the experiment show that the two fusions of deep learning combined with one fusion of machine learning can significantly improve the recognition results of low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) datasets. The lowest fusion recognition result can reach 76.01%, and the average fusion recognition rate can reach 94.92%. Compared with the traditional single feature recognition algorithm, the recognition accuracy is greatly improved. The New Caledonian crow learning algorithm (NCCLA) is a novel metaheuristic algorithm inspired by the learning behavior of New Caledonian crows learning to make tools to obtain food. However, it suffers from the problems of easily falling into local optima and insufficient convergence accuracy and convergence precision. To further improve the convergence performance of NCCLA, an improved New Caledonian crow learning algorithm (INCCLA) is proposed in this paper. By determining the parent individuals based on the cosine similarity, the juveniles are guided to search toward different ranges to maintain the population diversity; a novel hybrid mechanism of complete and incomplete learning is proposed to balance the exploration and exploitation capabilities of the algorithm; the update strategy of juveniles and parent individuals is improved to enhance the convergence speed and precision of the algorithm. The test results of the CEC2013 and CEC2020 test suites show that, compared with the original NCCLA algorithm and four of the best metaheuristics to date, INCCLA has significant advantages in terms of convergence speed, convergence precision, and stability. The development of the civil aviation industry has continuously increased the requirements for the efficiency of airport ground support services. In the existing ground support research, there has not yet been a process model that directly obtains support from the ground support log to study the causal relationship between service nodes and flight delays. Most ground support studies mainly use machine learning methods to predict flight delays, and the flight support model they are based on is an ideal model. The study did not conduct an in-depth study of the causal mechanism behind the ground support link and did not reveal the true cause of flight delays. Therefore, there is a certain deviation in the prediction of flight delays by machine learning, and there is a certain deviation between the ideal model based on the research and the actual service process. Therefore, it is of practical significance to obtain the process model from the guarantee log and analyze its causality. However, the existing process causal factor discovery methods only do certain research when the assumption of causal sufficiency is established and does not consider the existence of latent variables. Therefore, this article proposes a framework to realize the discovery of process causal factors without assuming causal sufficiency. The optimized fuzzy mining process model is used as the service benchmark model, and the local causal discovery algorithm is used to discover the causal factors. Under this framework, this paper proposes a new Markov blanket discovery algorithm that does not assume causal sufficiency to discover causal factors and uses benchmark data sets for testing. Finally, the actual flight service data are used for causal discovery among flight service nodes. In this paper, a fault-tolerant control system based on back-stepping integral sliding mode controller (BISMC) is designed and analyzed for both nonlinear translational and rotational subsystems of the quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The novelty of this paper is about combination of a classic controller with a repetitive algorithm to reduce the response time to actuator faults and have better tracking performance. The actuator fault is defined based on the loss of effectiveness and bias fault. Next, the iterative learning control algorithm (ILCA) is used to compensate for the unknown fault input according to previous recorded experiences. In the normal condition (without actuators fault), BISMC can force the actual trajectories toward the desired commands and reduce chattering about control signals, and in the presence of the actuators fault or external disturbances, the mentioned learning algorithm can incline the accuracy of the tracking performance and compensate for the occurred error. The Lyapunov theory illustrates that the proposed control strategy can stabilize the system despite the actuators' fault and external disturbances. In the current study, our goal was to obtain a robust model to predict the speed of sound in biodiesel. For this purpose, an extensive databank has been extracted from previously published papers. Then, a Support Vector Machine (SVM) has been optimized by Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) method to analyze these data and determine the correlation between speed of sound in biodiesel and its related properties including pressure, temperature, molecular weight, and normal melting point. The results were very satisfactory because the values of statistical parameters R 2 and RMSE were obtained 1 and 1.4024, respectively. Here, this is the first time that the sensitivity analysis is used to estimate this target value. This analysis shows that the pressure widely affects the output values with relevancy factor 87.92. With the concept of sustainable development, enterprises are facing severe challenges in ecological protection and economic development. Approaches to improving effectiveness of the coordinated development strategy must continue to evolve to address uncertainty and hazards that may be encountered in the future. We propose a coordinated development strategy model based on the combination of soft fuzzy and rough set theory and construct its prediction model. For the multistrategy dataset in the paper, parameter for each kind shall be selected through converting the multistrategy data into two prediction datasets. An algorithm transformed by SFRC shall be subject to weighted average for each parameter. Furthermore, we use training methods and soft fuzzy rough sets' learning algorithm to calculate, and the evaluating indicator rough set is constructed with a three-tier model structure. After the final rough set training is completed, test results show that the rough set model which has a higher rating accuracy builds a better completed business performance evaluation. By comparing the prediction effect, both SVM algorithm and multistrategy prediction model for the soft fuzzy rough set in the paper can realize effective prediction for the enterprise's coordinated development strategy. Moreover, the prediction result obtained at the time of adopting boundary to get the expected value is superior to that of giving one fixed threshold. The governance of cross-border data flows around the digital economy, data security, and data sovereignty has become a crucial global governance issue. This paper evaluates the legitimacy of data exit rules of CPTPP countries based on machine learning algorithm models under the perspective of cross-border data flow governance. In this study, four machine learning algorithms, namely, logistic regression, decision tree, random forest, and GBDT, are used to build an outbound data assessment and evaluation model. The confusion matrix is used to classify the outbound data legitimacy dichotomously. The recall, precision, and F1 scores are evaluated to compare the empirical results of each model. Healthcare occupies a central role in sustainable societies and has an undeniable impact on the well-being of individuals. However, over the years, various diseases have adversely affected the growth and sustainability of these societies. Among them, heart disease is escalating rapidly in both economically settled and undeveloped nations and leads to fatalities around the globe. To reduce the death ratio caused by this disease, there is a need for a framework to continuously monitor a patient's heart status, essentially doing early detection and prediction of heart disease. This paper proposes a scalable Machine Learning (ML) and Internet of Things-(IoT-) based three-layer architecture to store and process a large amount of clinical data continuously, which is needed for the early detection and monitoring of heart disease. Layer 1 of the proposed framework is used to collect data from IoT wearable/implanted smart sensor nodes, which includes various physiological measures that have significant impact on the deterioration of heart status. Layer 2 stores and processes the patient data on a local web server using various ML classification algorithms. Finally, Layer 3 is used to store the critical data of patients on the cloud. The doctor and other caregivers can access the patient health conditions via an android application, provide services to the patient, and inhibit him/her from further damage. Accurate identification of lithology is the basis and key process of fine logging interpretation and evaluation. However, reservoirs formed by different sedimentary environments and tectonic movements generally have the characteristics of complex and diverse lithology and strong heterogeneity, which brings great difficulty to the identification of reservoir lithology. The latest development of neuroscience has deepened the understanding of the information-processing mechanisms in the human brain and inspired a couple of sophisticated computational methods, such as deep learning, memory networks, and hierarchical temporal memory. All organisms contain antimicrobial peptides (AMPs), which are a critical component of the innate immune system. These chemicals have the ability to suppress the growth of a variety of fungi, bacteria, and viruses. Because AMPs interact with structural components of the microbial cell membrane and have a wide range of cellular targets, bacteria are unlikely to be able to develop resistance to them in the short term. The underlying structure of AMPs is critical in determining the selectivity with which they target their respective targets. As far as we know, peptides have not been tested in a lab to see if they can fight bacteria, fungus, and viruses in real life. In this paper, we develop an artificial neural network (ANN) using a back propagation neural network (BPNN) that enables optimal classification of tendency of a peptide sequence that involves the activities of antifungal, antibacterial, or antiviral. The BPNN is trained on the datasets collected across different repositories and then the overfitting is avoided using particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. Hence, at the time of testing, the BPNN clearly finds the predicted samples belonging to the same classes and this avoids the problem of finding the false positives. The simulation is conducted to test the efficacy of the model against various metrics that includes accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-measure. The effectiveness of the BPNN-PSO model in classifying instances at a faster rate than other techniques is demonstrated by its performance. Objective. Internet of Things (IoT) integrates several technologies where devices learn from the experience of each other thereby reducing human-intervened likely errors. Modern technologies like IoT and machine learning enable the conventional to patient-specific approach transition in healthcare. In conventional approach, the biggest challenge faced by healthcare professionals is to predict a disease by observing the symptoms, monitoring the remote area patient, and also attending to the patient all the time after being hospitalised. The main objective of the work was to create an IoT-based automated system using machine learning models for symptom-based COVID-19 prognosis. Methods. Comparative analysis of predictive microbiology of COVID-19 from case symptoms using various machine learning classifiers like logistics regression, k-nearest neighbor, support vector machine, random forest, decision trees, Naïve Bayes, and gradient booster is reported here. For the sake of the validation and verification of the models, performance of each model based on the retrieved cloud-stored data was measured for accuracy. Results. From the accuracy plot, it was concluded that k-NN was more accurate (97.97%) followed by decision tree (97.79), support vector machine (97.42), logistics regression (96.50), random forest (90.66), gradient boosting classifier (87.77), and Naïve Bayes (73.50) in COVID-19 prognosis. As a complex machine learning algorithm, deep learning can extract object shape information and more complex and advanced information in images by using a deep learning model. In order to solve some problems of deep learning in image feature extraction and classification, this paper designs a modeling method of multifocus image segmentation algorithm based on deep learning. The acceleration effect of FPGA (field programmable gate array) on deep learning and weight sharing is analyzed. By introducing deep learning, the trouble of determining the weight coefficient is eliminated, and the energy function is simplified. Therefore, the relevant parameters of multifocus image segmentation can be easily set, and better results can be obtained. The multifocus image segmentation algorithm based on deep learning can not only obtain closed and smooth segmentation curves but also adaptively deal with topology changes due to high segmentation accuracy and stable algorithm. The results show that the model effectively combines the local and global information of the image, so that the model has good robustness. Multimodal tasks based on attention mechanism and language face numerous problems. Based on multimodal hierarchical attention mechanism and genetic neural network, this paper studies the application of image segmentation algorithm in data completion and 3D scene reconstruction. The algorithm refers to the process of concentrating attention that humans subjectively pay attention to and calculates the difference between each pixel in the genetic neural network test image in the color space and the average value of the target image, which solves the problem of static feature maps and dynamic feature maps of image sequences. In addition, in view of the problem that the number of attention enhancement feature extraction modules is too large and the parameters are too large, the recursive mechanism is used as the feature extraction branch, and new model parameters are not added when the network depth is increased. The simulation results show that the accuracy of the improved image saliency detection algorithm based on the attention mechanism reaches 89.7%, and the difference between the average value of the single-point pixel and the target image is reduced to 0.132, which further promotes the practicability and reliability of the image segmentation model. In this paper, various machine learning algorithms like decision tree, random forest algorithm, KNN, and artificial neural networks on the dataset create a comparative analysis to better predict the disease based on parameters established from the dataset. The classification was performed on both the sampled and unsampled datasets for better comparison of the dataset. To observe the clinical efficacy of early enteral nutrition application in critically ill neurosurgical patients, in this paper, we have developed a prediction model for enteral nutrition support in neurosurgical intensive care patients which is primarily based on an integrated learning algorithm. Additionally, we have compared the prediction performance of each model. The patients were divided into control and combined treatment groups according to the random number table method, and 175 patients in each group were treated with a parenteral method and early enteral nutrition support, respectively. A reentry ICU prediction model based on the integrated learning method random forest, adaptive boosting (AdaBoost), and gradient boosting decision tree (GBDT) was developed, and the prediction performance of integrated learning and logistic regression was compared. The average sensitivity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, false-positive rate, false-negative rate, area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC), and Brier score after fivefold cross-validation were used to evaluate model effects, and the best performance model based on the top 10 predictor variables in order of importance was given. Among all models, GBDT (AUROC = 0.858) was better than random forest (AUROC = 0.827) and slightly better than AdaBoost (AUROC = 0.851). The GBDT algorithm gave a higher ranking of importance for variables such as mean arterial pressure, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, urine volume, and blood creatinine and relatively poorer cardiovascular and renal function in neurosurgical intensive care patients. In this paper, a new approach for Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) has been addressed by extracting colour, gray, advanced texture, and shape features for input query images. Contour-based shape feature extraction methods and image moment extraction techniques are used to extract the shape features and shape invariant features. The informative features are selected from extracted features and combined colour, gray, texture, and shape features by using PSO. The target image has been retrieved for the given query image by training the random forest classifier. In the past, the possibilistic C -means clustering algorithm (PCM) has proven its superiority on various medical datasets by overcoming the unstable clustering effect caused by both the hard division of traditional hard clustering models and the susceptibility of fuzzy C -means clustering algorithm (FCM) to noise. However, with the deep integration and development of the Internet of Things (IoT) as well as big data with the medical field, the width and height of medical datasets are growing bigger and bigger. In the face of high-dimensional and giant complex datasets, it is challenging for the PCM algorithm based on machine learning to extract valuable features from thousands of dimensions, which increases the computational complexity and useless time consumption and makes it difficult to avoid the quality problem of clustering. To this end, this paper proposes a deep possibilistic C -mean clustering algorithm (DPCM) that combines the traditional PCM algorithm with a special deep network called autoencoder. Taking advantage of the fact that the autoencoder can minimize the reconstruction loss and the PCM uses soft affiliation to facilitate gradient descent, DPCM allows deep neural networks and PCM's clustering centers to be optimized at the same time, so that it effectively improves the clustering efficiency and accuracy. To a large extent, classical boosting denoising algorithms can improve denoising performance. However, these algorithms can only work well when the denoisers are linear. In this paper, we propose a boosting algorithm that can be used for a nonlinear denoiser. We further implement the proposed algorithm into a shrinkage curve learning denoising algorithm, which is a nonlinear denoiser. Concurrently, the convergence of the proposed algorithm is proved. With the rapid development of the Internet, various forms of network attack have emerged, so how to detect abnormal behavior effectively and to recognize their attack categories accurately have become an important research subject in the field of cyberspace security. Recently, many hot machine learning-based approaches are applied in the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) to construct a data-driven model. The methods are beneficial to reduce the time and cost of manual detection. However, the real-time network data contain an ocean of redundant terms and noises, and some existing intrusion detection technologies have lower accuracy and inadequate ability of feature extraction. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes an intrusion detection method based on the Decision Tree-Recursive Feature Elimination (DT-RFE) feature in ensemble learning. This method eliminates the redundant and uncorrelated data from the dataset to achieve better resource utilization and to reduce time complexity. In this paper, we use the Stacking ensemble learning algorithm by combining Decision Tree (DT) with Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE) methods. Finally, a series of comparison experiments by cross-validation on the KDD CUP 99 and NSL-KDD datasets indicate that the DT-RFE and Stacking-based approach can better improve the performance of the IDS, and the accuracy for all kinds of features is higher than 99%, except in the case of U2R accuracy, which is 98%. In keratoconus, the cornea assumes a conical shape due to its thinning and protrusion. Early detection of keratoconus is vital in preventing vision loss or costly repairs. In corneal topography maps, curvature and steepness can be distinguished by the colour scales, with warm colours representing curved steep areas and cold colours representing flat areas. With the advent of machine learning algorithms like convolutional neural networks (CNN), the identification and classification of keratoconus from these topography maps have been made faster and more accurate. The classification and grading of keratoconus depend on the colour scales used. Artefacts and minimal variations in the corneal shape, in mild or developing keratoconus, are not represented clearly in the image gradients. Segmentation of the maps needs to be carried out for identifying the severity of the keratoconus as well as for identifying the changes in the severity. In this paper, we are considering the use of particle swarm optimisation and its modifications for segmenting the topography image. Pretrained CNN models are then trained with the dataset and tested. Results show that the performance of the system in terms of accuracy is 95.9% compared to 93%, 95.3%, and 84% available in the literature for a 3-class classification that involved mild keratoconus or forme fruste keratoconus. Gesture recognition utilizes deep learning network model to automatically extract deep features of data; however, traditional machine learning algorithms rely on manual feature extraction and poor model generalization ability. In this paper, a multimodal gesture recognition algorithm based on convolutional long-term memory network is proposed. First, a convolutional neural network (CNN) is employed to automatically extract the deeply hidden features of multimodal gesture data. Then, a time series model is constructed using a long short-term memory (LSTM) network to learn the long-term dependence of multimodal gesture features on the time series. On this basis, the classification of multimodal gestures is realized by the SoftMax classifier. Finally, the method is experimented and evaluated on two dynamic gesture datasets, VIVA and NVGesture. Experimental results indicate that the accuracy rates of the proposed method on the VIVA and NVGesture datasets are 92.55% and 87.38%, respectively, and its recognition accuracy and convergence performance are better than those of other comparison algorithms.
