With the continuous application of the art industry in various fields, more and more people choose to systematically learn the knowledge of the art industry. In the art major, image painting is one of the important contents of the art major. How to improve students' aesthetic quality and comprehensive professional quality is studied, in which the content learning of image painting art is the key. Therefore, we have carried out technical exploration and result analysis based on Gaussian mutation genetic algorithm to optimize the application of neural network in image painting art teaching. We use Gaussian mutation genetic algorithm to study the neural network optimized teaching cloud platform technology. Compared with the traditional algorithm, the algorithm proposed in this paper has more funny computational efficiency, being able to comprehensively evaluate and improve students' aesthetic quality and comprehensive professional quality. Gaussian mutation genetic algorithm can effectively improve the knowledge search ability of the platform and the running speed of the teaching platform. In Earth science, information science, space science, and other disciplines, scientists use the land surface parameter inversion method in their work, applying this to the atmosphere, vegetation, soil, drought, and so on. Multidisciplinary experts sometimes collaborate on a particular application. However, these remote sensing models do not have a unified method of description and management and cannot effectively achieve the sharing of models and data resources. It is also hard to meet user demand for global data and models in the current state, especially in the face of global problems and long-term series problems. In this paper, we examine the scientific questions of the computability and scalability of remote sensing models. This paper adopts a data dependency approach to describe a remote sensing model and implements a hierarchical unified description and management method using modelling based on four layers: a data-processing view, an atomic model view, an on-demand resource package view, and a workflow view. We choose three typical remote sensing models for disaster monitoring as use cases and describe the practical application process of the proposed method. Natural killer (NK) cell activity is influenced by a complex integration of signaling pathways activated downstream of both activating and inhibitory surface receptors. The tumor microenvironment can suppress NK cell activity, and there is a great clinical interest in understanding whether modulating tumor-mediated NK cell suppression and/or boosting preexisting NK cell numbers in cancer patients is therapeutically viable. To this light, we characterized the surface receptor phenotypes of peripheral blood NK cells and examined their clinical relevance to human gastric cancer (GC). We found that the proportion of peripheral blood NK cells which expressed the activating receptors NKp30, NKp46, NKG2D, and DNAM-1 was significantly decreased in GC patients compared to healthy donors, and that this decrease was positively associated with tumor progression. At the same time, plasma TGF-β1 concentrations were significantly increased in GC patients and negatively correlated with the proportion of NKp30, NKp46, NKG2D, and DNAM-1 expressing NK cells. Furthermore, TGF-β1 significantly downregulated the expression of NKp30, NKp46, NKG2D, and DNAM-1 on NK cells in vitro, and the addition of galunisertib, an inhibitor of the TGF-β receptor subunit I, reversed this downregulation. Altogether, our data suggest that the decreased expression of activating receptors NKp30, NKp46, NKG2D, and DNAM-1 on peripheral blood NK cells is positively associated with GC progression, and that TGF-β1-mediated NK cell suppression may be a therapeutically targetable characteristic of GC. Wide application of the Internet of Things (IoT) system has been increasingly demanding more hardware facilities for processing various resources including data, information, and knowledge. With the rapid growth of generated resource quantity, it is difficult to adapt to this situation by using traditional cloud computing models. Fog computing enables storage and computing services to perform at the edge of the network to extend cloud computing. However, there are some problems such as restricted computation, limited storage, and expensive network bandwidth in Fog computing applications. It is a challenge to balance the distribution of network resources. We propose a processing optimization mechanism of typed resources with synchronized storage and computation adaptation in Fog computing. In this mechanism, we process typed resources in a wireless-network-based three-tier architecture consisting of Data Graph, Information Graph, and Knowledge Graph. The proposed mechanism aims to minimize processing cost over network, computation, and storage while maximizing the performance of processing in a business value driven manner. Simulation results show that the proposed approach improves the ratio of performance over user investment. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a set of short (21–24 nt) noncoding RNAs that play significant regulatory roles in cells. In the past few years, research on miRNA-related problems has become a hot field of bioinformatics because of miRNAs’ essential biological function. miRNA-related bioinformatics analysis is beneficial in several aspects, including the functions of miRNAs and other genes, the regulatory network between miRNAs and their target mRNAs, and even biological evolution. Distinguishing miRNA precursors from other hairpin-like sequences is important and is an essential procedure in detecting novel microRNAs. In this study, we employed backpropagation (BP) neural network together with 98-dimensional novel features for microRNA precursor identification. Results show that the precision and recall of our method are 95.53% and 96.67%, respectively. Results further demonstrate that the total prediction accuracy of our method is nearly 13.17% greater than the state-of-the-art microRNA precursor prediction software tools. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) are the largest receptor superfamily. In this paper, we try to employ physical-chemical properties, which come from SVM-Prot, to represent GPCR. Random Forest was utilized as classifier for distinguishing them from other protein sequences. MEME suite was used to detect the most significant 10 conserved motifs of human GPCRs. In the testing datasets, the average accuracy was 91.61%, and the average AUC was 0.9282. MEME discovery analysis showed that many motifs aggregated in the seven hydrophobic helices transmembrane regions adapt to the characteristic of GPCRs. Cancerlectins are cancer-related proteins that function as lectins. They have been identified through computational identification techniques, but these techniques have sometimes failed to identify proteins because of sequence diversity among the cancerlectins. Advanced machine learning identification methods, such as support vector machine and basic sequence features (n-gram), have also been used to identify cancerlectins. In this study, various protein fingerprint features and advanced classifiers, including ensemble learning techniques, were utilized to identify this group of proteins. We improved the prediction accuracy of the original feature extraction methods and classification algorithms by more than 10% on average. Enhancers are a class of noncoding DNA elements located near structural genes. In recent years, their identification and classification have been the focus of research in the field of bioinformatics. However, due to their high free scattering and position variability, although the performance of the prediction model has been continuously improved, there is still a lot of room for progress. In this paper, density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise (DBSCAN) was used to screen the physicochemical properties of dinucleotides to extract dinucleotide-based auto-cross covariance (DACC) features; then, the features are reduced by feature selection Python toolkit MRMD 2.0. The reduced features are input into the random forest to identify enhancers. The enhancer classification model was built by word2vec and attention-based Bi-LSTM. Finally, the accuracies of our enhancer identification and classification models were 77.25% and 73.50%, respectively, and the Matthews' correlation coefficients (MCCs) were 0.5470 and 0.4881, respectively, which were better than the performance of most predictors. MicroRNAs constitute an important class of noncoding, single-stranded, ~22 nucleotide long RNA molecules encoded by endogenous genes. They play an important role in regulating gene transcription and the regulation of normal development. MicroRNAs can be associated with disease; however, only a few microRNA-disease associations have been confirmed by traditional experimental approaches. We introduce two methods to predict microRNA-disease association. The first method, KATZ, focuses on integrating the social network analysis method with machine learning and is based on networks derived from known microRNA-disease associations, disease-disease associations, and microRNA-microRNA associations. The other method, CATAPULT, is a supervised machine learning method. We applied the two methods to 242 known microRNA-disease associations and evaluated their performance using leave-one-out cross-validation and 3-fold cross-validation. DNA-binding proteins are crucial for various cellular processes, such as recognition of specific nucleotide, regulation of transcription, and regulation of gene expression. Developing an effective model for identifying DNA-binding proteins is an urgent research problem. Up to now, many methods have been proposed, but most of them focus on only one classifier and cannot make full use of the large number of negative samples to improve predicting performance. This study proposed a predictor called enDNA-Prot for DNA-binding protein identification by employing the ensemble learning technique. Experiential results showed that enDNA-Prot was comparable with DNA-Prot and outperformed DNAbinder and iDNA-Prot with performance improvement in the range of 3.97-9.52% in ACC and 0.08-0.19 in MCC. Furthermore, when the benchmark dataset was expanded with negative samples, the performance of enDNA-Prot outperformed the three existing methods by 2.83-16.63% in terms of ACC and 0.02-0.16 in terms of MCC. It indicated that enDNA-Prot is an effective method for DNA-binding protein identification and expanding training dataset with negative samples can improve its performance. Biology is meaningful and important to identify cytokines and investigate their various functions and biochemical mechanisms. However, several issues remain, including the large scale of benchmark datasets, serious imbalance of data, and discovery of new gene families. In this paper, we employ the machine learning approach based on a novel ensemble classifier to predict cytokines. We directly selected amino acids sequences as research objects. First, we pretreated the benchmark data accurately. Next, we analyzed the physicochemical properties and distribution of whole amino acids and then extracted a group of 120-dimensional (120D) valid features to represent sequences. Third, in the view of the serious imbalance in benchmark datasets, we utilized a sampling approach based on the synthetic minority oversampling technique algorithm and K-means clustering undersampling algorithm to rebuild the training set. Finally, we built a library for dynamic selection and circulating combination based on clustering (LibD3C) and employed the new training set to realize cytokine classification. Experiments showed that the geometric mean of sensitivity and specificity obtained through our approach is as high as 93.3%, which proves that our approach is effective for identifying cytokines.
