WEIGHT loss ,METHYLENE blue - Abstract
This article discusses the use of fluid-filled intragastric balloons (FF-IGB) as a therapeutic strategy for obesity. The study aimed to determine if there were any differences in outcomes based on the fill volume of the balloon (500, 600, or 700 ml). The study found that there were no significant differences in post-procedural complications, early removal rates, total body weight loss, excess weight loss, or quality of life at 6 months follow-up among the three fill volumes. This suggests that the fill volume of the balloon does not impact these outcomes, regardless of the patient's initial BMI. [Extracted from the article]
