The article reports that the U.S. Homeland Security Department (DHS) has decided to postpone the construction of a new headquarters campus in Washington after facing resistance from Congress and the administration of President Barack Obama. Both the Congress and President Obama have imposed funding cuts on the DHS project. According to DHS estimates, the agency needs 460 million U.S. dollars in 2013 to avoid further project delays and cost overruns.
