O objetivo deste trabalho consiste em recuperar o debate sobre movimentos sociais e explorar possibilidades de análise organizacional a partir da teoria de frames e a de oportunidades políticas. Para isso, discutimos como os debates sobre movimentos sociais produziram diversas possibilidades de análise, as quais tentaram dar conta de uma dicotomia fundamental no campo, qual seja, a escolha entre "estratégia" ou "identidade" como ênfase da ação coletiva. Entre as alternativas formuladas para superar a respectiva dicotomia, estão as teorias de frames e das oportunidades políticas que, em conjunto, buscam resgatar a dimensão cultural e política dos movimentos sociais. Para discutir a contribuição dessas teorias nas áreas de administração pública, políticas públicas e gestão social, buscou-se trazer exemplos de análises empíricas que fizeram uso de tal literatura recentemente no Brasil. Embora desenvolvida em outro contexto sociopolítico, acreditamos que esta abordagem teórica tem grande potencial analítico e pode ser testada em outras análises que busquem compreender tais dimensões da ação coletiva nos movimentos sociais em contexto brasileiro. The aim of this work is to recover the debate on social movements and explore possibilities of organizational analysis from the theory of frames and political opportunities. For this, we discuss how the debates on social movements have produced several possibilities for analysis, which attempt to address a fundamental dichotomy in the field, the choice between "strategy" or "identity" as a focus of collective action. Among the alternatives formulated to overcome the dichotomy, there are theories and frames of political opportunities that together seek to rescue the cultural and political dimensions of social movements. To discuss the contribution of these theories in the fields of public administration, public policy and social management, we examine examples of empirical analysis that made use of this literature recently in Brazil. Although developed in other socio-political context, we believe that this approach has great theoretical and analytical potential can be tested in other reviews that seek to understand these dimensions of collective action in social movements in the Brazilian context.

O modelo proposto neste artigo tem por fundamento teórico o legado de Max Weber, principalmente a sua tipologia da ação social e os seus tipos ideais de dominação, cujos componentes são reelaborados para a construção de instrumental analítico capaz de contribuir para investigar configurações administrativo-organizacionais. O modelo ressalta a coexistência, no interior da organização empresarial, de um conjunto de fenômenos simultaneamente opostos e complementares, em meio a um processo contínuo de organização-interações-reordenamento. A empresa dotada de uma estrutura equiparativo-adaptadora é o tipo-base do modelo, a partir do qual são descritos os subtipos ordenativo-conservador e liberativo-transformador. Este trabalho insere novos elementos no debate sobre como integrar flexibilidade, autonomia e liberdade, que propiciam a inovação e a criatividade, com estabilidade, padronização e regulamentação, que favorecem a disciplina administrativa e o controle gerencial. The model proposed in this article is founded on the legacy of Max Weber. It principally elaborates on his typology of social action and his ideal types of domination. These components are reelaborated into the construction of an analytical instrument capable of contributing to the investigation of organizational-administrative configurations. The model emphasizes the coexistence, within the interior of the business organization, of a set of phenomena simultaneously opposed and complementary, in the middle of a continuous process of organization-interaction-restructuring. The business set up on a Comparative-Adaptive structure is the base type of the model, from which the Ordinance-Conservative and Liberation-Transforming subtypes are described. This article inserts new elements into the debate of how to integrate flexibility, autonomy and liberty, that proportion innovation and creativity, with stability, standardization and regulation, that favor administrative discipline and managerial control.

O artigo discute as contribuições da antropologia à administração de empresas a partir da análise do conhecimento produzido por seu método clássico, a etnografia, em uma abordagem interpretativa. Partindo da identificação das diferenças entre as abordagens típicas da administração e da antropologia em relação ao conceito de cultura, o artigo distancia-se da primeira e trata de mostrar como o método etnográfico pode ser útil para uma interpretação minuciosa da dinâmica sociocultural em uma organização ou em parte dela, proporcionando um conhecimento mais aprofundado da atuação humana nesse contexto e um quadro mais realista dos desafios com os quais os administradores defrontam-se diariamente. The article discusses contributions of anthropology to management through the analysis of the knowledge produced through its classical method, the ethnography, in an interpretative approach. Beginning with the identification of the differences between the anthropological and management approaches of the culture concept, the article abandons the last one and shows how ethnography can be useful in a detailed interpretation of the cultural dynamics in an organization or in part of it, allowing a deeper comprehension of human behavior in this context and a more realistic picture of the challenges managers face everyday.
