Eddie McAvinchey has been appointed as the director for banking and investments in Scotland at the UK Infrastructure Bank (UKIB). Based in Edinburgh, McAvinchey will focus on developing and supporting the UKIB's network in Scotland, with a particular emphasis on clean energy, digital, transport, water, and waste. The UKIB, a Treasury-owned policy bank, aims to provide £22 billion of infrastructure finance to help tackle climate change and boost local economic growth.
