Recently, Nanonetworks has been envisioned as a predominant technology. Applications of whose ranges from environment to agriculture and biomedical to military, almost in every field of human life. It plays a vital role in crop monitoring for high-resolution agriculture and in detection of emitted volatile organic compounds. However, sensing range of an individual nanosensor is limited. Multi-hop, relay system can be used to enhance the transmission range of nanosensor based Nanonetworks. This manuscript presents various performance measure of an Electromagnetic Nanonetworks under Amplify-and-Forward (AF) relaying for plant monitoring. Specifically, proposes closed form expressions for Average Error Rate and Spectral Efficiency (SE) of Differential Binary Phase Shift Keying (DBPSK) and Differential Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (DQPSK) modulation schemes of Nanonetworks under dual AF relaying. It is worthful to mention that plant scenarios and hence fading model for different types of plant is different. Therefore, in analysis fading channel from source to relay (S-R) is taken as Fox’s H (FH) function which realizes different fading models, such as EGK, Fisher-Snedecor (FS) distribution and Alpha-Mu fading models, as its special cases to represent different plant scenarios. Whereas, fading model from relay to destination (R-D) is taken as Generalized-Gamma (GG). It is observed that an increase in the value of severity and/or shaping parameters decreases the average error rate. On the other hand, converse is true for the spectral efficiency. Analytical results show perfect agreement with simulation.

Deformation behaviour of aluminium-zinc-magnesium-copper alloy AA 7075 was investigated at high strain rate using Split Hopkinson Torsional Bar (SHTB). Cylindrical AA 7075 specimens were deformed at different angles of twist, giving rise to strain rate ranging from 700 s−1 to 2000 s−1. Comprehensive microstructural and textural investigation was carried out using electron back scatter diffraction (EBSD), X-ray line profile analysis and bulk texture measurement using X-rays for all the deformed samples. The high strain rate torsion tested samples showed a characteristic torsion texture for face centre cubic materials with a dominant A { 1 1 1 } 110 > / { 1 11 } 1 1 0 > component and the overall texture weakened with increase in strain rate and strain. Intragranular misorientation parameters like local average misorientation and grain orientation spread indicated occurrence of dynamic recovery in the sample deformed at the highest strain rate which was characterized by the maximum fraction of low angle grain boundaries. Microstructural parameters determined from X-ray diffraction using modified Williamson-Hall and Variance method further corroborated these results indicating the onset of dynamic recovery at the highest strain rate.

Nanonetworks are enhancing the long awaited claims of nanotechnology in many fields of our society. In continuum, Wireless Nanosensor Network (WNSN) is a key enabler for intra-body surveillance which in turn guaranteed accurate targeted drug delivery systems. The purpose of this manuscript is to present a novel model for WNSN under interference limited scenario and thereby to analyze various important performance measures and their improvements. In the analysis Poisson Point Process (PPP) is considered to represent the spatial distribution of multiple nanosensors within the cluster, whereas α -stable process is considered to represent the aggregate power of interferers. However, in particular, this manuscript presents novel analytical expressions of Outage Probability (OP), Bit Error Rate (BER) and Average Capacity (AC) of WNSN in presence of interference. In addition, Selection Combining (SC) scheme is employed to mitigate the effect of impairments. Finally, effect of various parameters such as spatial density of nanosensors nodes( λ ), SNR of interferers ( γ I ), outage threshold ( x t h ) and path loss exponent (v) is investigated. The results show that OP and BER increase with an increase in λ , or γ I and vice versa. Whereas, AC increases with an increases in λ but it decreases with an increases in γ I . Moreover, Simulated results show perfect agreement with the theoretical backgrounds.
