Abstract

Summary Microscopie examination of cambial samples from Citrus sinensis L. obtained from the stem axis of varying diameter, revealed that the components of the cambium undergo variations in size and number. The relative proportions of one type of initials to “other” also varies in axes of varying girth. The fusiform initials first increase then decrease in length. more...
