The associated production of a Higgs boson with a $W$ or $Z$ boson decaying into leptons and where the Higgs boson decays to a $b\bar{b}$ pair is measured in the high vector-boson transverse momentum regime, above 250 GeV, with the ATLAS detector. The analysed data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb$^{-1}$, were collected in proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider between 2015 and 2018 at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV. The measured signal strength, defined as the ratio of the measured signal yield to that predicted by the Standard Model, is $0.72 ^{+0.39}_{-0.36}$ corresponding to an observed (expected) significance of 2.1 (2.7) standard deviations. Cross-sections of associated production of a Higgs boson decaying into $b$ quark pairs with a $W$ or $Z$ gauge boson, decaying into leptons, are measured in two exclusive vector boson transverse momentum regions, 250-400 GeV and above 400 GeV, and interpreted as constraints on anomalous couplings in the framework of a Standard Model effective field theory., Comment: 49 pages in total, author list starting page 33, 7 figures, 9 tables, published in Phys. Pseudoboehmite was obtained through neutralization of ammonium aluminum sulfate solution [NH 4 Al(SO 4) 2 ·12H 2 O] with ammonia water [NH 3 (aq)]. The neutralization process resulted in flake-like overlapping flower-like structures at 80 °C and 85 °C. When the temperature of the NH 4 Al(SO 4) 2 ·12H 2 O solution was raised to 90 °C, nanoparticles, microspheres with a diameter of less than 50 nm, were obtained. The (131) plane was studied by HRTEM imaging (high resolution transmission electron microscopy). Density functional theory was used to study the interface properties of the pseudoboehmite, and the surface energy and attachment energy were calculated for the optimized crystal planes of interest. The results show that the relaxed (131) plane has the lowest surface energy (0.0474 J/m2), and thus is the most stable surface. Additionally, the (200) plane of the pseudoboehmite has the lowest absolute value of attachment energy (0.2106 eV/unit), consistent with having the strongest X-ray diffraction peak and indicating that it is the preferred orientation. The formation mechanism of flower-like and microspherical particles is discussed, with consideration for solution temperature effects on morphology and the predicted equilibrium morphology and growth morphology of pseudoboehmite. Depending on their concentrations, sizes, and types, particulate matters of biological origins (bioPM) significantly affect human health. However, for different air environments, they are not well characterized and can vary considerably. As an example, we investigated the bioPM differences at an urban (Beijing) site and a rural (Wangdu) site in the North China Plain (NCP) using an online monitoring instrument, an ultraviolet aerodynamic particle sizer (UV-APS), the limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) assay, and a high-throughput sequencing method. Generally, lower concentrations of viable bioPM (hourly mean: 1.3 × 10
3 ± 1.6 × 103 m−3 ) and endotoxin (0.66 ± 0.16 EU/m3 ) in Beijing were observed compared to viable bioPM (0.79 × 105 ± 1.4 × 105 m−3 ) and endotoxin (15.1 ± 23.96 EU/m3 ) at the Wangdu site. The percentage of viable bioPM number concentration in the total PM was 3.1% in Beijing and 6.4% in Wangdu. Approximately 80% of viable bioPM was found to be in the range from 1 to 2.5 μm. Nevertheless, the size distribution patterns for viable bioPM at the Beijing and Wangdu sites differed and were affected by PM pollution, leading to distinct lung deposition profiles. Moreover, the distinct diurnal variations in viable bioPM on clean days were dimmed by the PM pollution at both sites. Distinct bacterial community structures were found in the air from the Beijing and Wangdu sites. The bacterial community in urban Beijing was dominated by genus Lactococcus (49.5%) and Pseudomonas (15.1%), while the rural Wangdu site was dominated by Enterococcus (65%) and Paenibacillus (10%). Human-derived genera, including Myroides , Streptococcus , Propionibacterium , Dietzia , Helcococcus , and Facklamia , were higher in Beijing, suggesting bacterial emission from humans in the urban air environment. Our results show that different air harbors different biological species, and people residing in different environments thus could have very different biological particle exposure. A novel equivalent circuit model R s (Q 1 (R ct1 W 1))(Q 2 (R ct2 W 2)) is established to analyze the chloride ion migration. The results indicate that increasing the amount of fly ash or/and slag enhances the resistance to chloride ion migration. The chloride ion migration depth can be qualified by an equation that is a function of the parameter (R ct1) of the circuit model. A novel (Ce-Mg) co-promoted CaO sorbent with multi-dimensional through-hole structure was fabricated by a hydrothermal template method based on natural limestone, to address the evident decline of CO 2 adsorption performance during circulation. A trend of first increasing and then stabilizing was achieved for CO 2 long-term durability of the as-prepared sorbent by the hydrothermal recrystallization process. The CO 2 absorption capacity of the (Ce-Mg) co-promoted tubular sorbents exceeded that of the reference sample without hydrothermal template treatment by ∼ 400% after 30 cycles. 97% of the initial CO 2 capacity can be maintained at the 30th cycle. This significant CO 2 uptake capacity can be attributed to the multiple synergistic interactions yielded by incorporating g-C 3 N 4 nanotube template with (Ce-Mg) co-doping. A bidirectional gas diffusion channel was constructed based on the inner-outer multi-dimensional connection structure of g-C 3 N 4 , which allowed the sorbent to maintain the prominent specific surface area and pore volume during cycles. After 30 cycles, the specific surface area of the limestone-derived sorbents can still remain at 16.31 m
2 /g. Furthermore, a double vacancy mechanism that can facilitate the gas transport through both the product layer and the surface layer of CaO grains caused by the co-doping of (Ce-Mg) was proposed, which can also promote the electron transport between CaO and CO 2. This synergistic strategy proved useful for improving the CO 2 uptake performance and cycle durability of CaO sorbents in practical applications. • Double vacancy mechanisms constructed by synergistic effect of (Ce-Mg) co-doping. • A trend of first increasing and then stabilizing for CO2 long-term durability of sorbent was achieved. • Sorbent with bidirectional diffusion channels was prepared based on g-C3N4 internal through-hole structure. • CaO particles grew on g-C3N4 substrate through a facile one-step hydrothermal template approach. Mesoporous γ-Al 2 O 3 with high specific surface area is prepared via calcination of NH 4 Al(OH) 2 CO 3 (AACH). The AACH is obtained by coprecipitation route with NH 4 HCO 3 and NH 4 Al(SO 4 ) 2 as raw materials. The effects of pH value and calcination temperature on the characterization of products are investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), N 2 adsorption-desorption method and Transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show that mesoporous γ-Al 2 O 3 obtained by calcining AACH at 500 °C for 4 h exhibits high specific surface area of 571.32 m 2 /g, a pore volume of 0.75 cm 3 /g and pore size of 6.15 nm. With the calcining temperature increase, the specific surface area and pore volume decrease, and the pore size increase. When the calcining temperature elevates up to 900 °C which is higher than the application temperature of most active agents, the specific surface area of 150.67 m 2 /g, the pore volume of 0.51 cm 3 /g and pore size of 9.65 nm was obtained. The aim of this study is to study the effect of ions co-doped on the photocatalytic antimicrobial activities of TiO 2 nano-materials under illumination with visible light. Pure TiO 2 , boron or cerium single doped TiO 2 , boron and cerium co-doped TiO 2 nano-materials were synthesized by a sol–gel method calcinated at 600 °C and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), UV–Vis absorption spectra (DRS) and Photoluminescence spectra (PL). The photocatalytic antimicrobial activities of nano-materials were determined by killing rate of Staphylococcus aureus . The results show TiO 2 , B or/and Ce doped TiO 2 nano-materials are anatase phase as the main crystalline phase. TiO 2 doped with ions exhibit small crystal size and high specific surface area. B and Ce co-doping decreases the band gap of the TiO 2 and effectively inhibits electrons and holes recombination. The present forms of boron ions are a substitution B occupying O sites, interstitial boron atoms and B O B bonds in [BO 3 ]; Ce 3+ and Ce 4+ co-exist in the materials. The antimicrobial results show killing rate of B and Ce co-doping TiO 2 is superior to the other materials, and B and Ce co-doped has a synergistic antimicrobial effect. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Highly reactive CaO sorbents based on natural limestone with enhanced stability and re-usability were obtained via a pre-sintering-hydration method. It was found that several active mechanisms including generation of oxygen vacancies, promotion of ion replacement and improvement in pore structure were involved during the process of pre-sintering-hydration. The limestone-based sorbents obtained at a pre-sintering temperature of 1100 °C showed the highest CO 2 capture capacity of 0.71 g-CO 2 g
−1 in the first cycle with a specific surface area of 28.65 m2 g−1 . Electron spin-resonance analysis and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy demonstrated the existence of stress-induced oxygen vacancies and the promoting effect of hydration on ion replacement. The CO 2 capture capacity of sample Ca-1100Mg-1:7 can still maintain at 0.47 g-CO 2 g−1 at the 30th cycle, which was 2.8 times that of Ca-lime. After every 30 cycles, the recovered CO 2 capture capacity of sample Ca-1100Mg-1:7 can achieve about 96.9 % of its initial valve. The improved stability and re-usability of the prepared sorbents can be attributed to the combined action of multiple active mechanisms introduced by pre-sintering-hydration treatment. The combined effects of oxygen vacancies, ion replacement and improvement of pore structure were achieved during the process of pre-sintering-hydration, which proved to be more conductive to enhancing the carbon capture efficiency of limestone-derived sorbents. Abstract: Taking the influences of chemical reaction mechanisms into account, a mathematical model has been developed to simulate the coupled heat and mass transfer as well as endothermic reactions in a non-thermal equilibrium packed bed with Soret and Dufour effects, which was numerically solved and validated by comparing with experimental data. It was found that the chemical reaction mechanisms have a great influence on the calculated solutions, and the cross-diffusion effects on the reactive characteristics of the packed beds are diverse under different chemical reaction mechanism. For the heat transfer controlled mechanism, the maximum reductions of the concentration of gas product and the solid fractional conversion induced by the Soret and Dufour effects are 25.1% and 14.4% respectively at superficial velocity 53.3cms−1 and the Nusselt number 4.1. However for the mass transfer controlled model, the calculated solid fractional conversions are higher than that obtained by neglecting the cross-diffusion effects and the increase being less than 16% at superficial velocity 11.9cms−1 and the Sherwood number 47.1. The differences induced by the Soret and Dufour effects are demonstrated numerically to increase gradually with the Nusselt number or the Sherwood number. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

[Display omitted] • A hydrothermal alkaline combined with ammonium hydrogen sulfate solution leaching process was developed to utilize comprehensively K-feldspar. • The transformation of K-feldspar in hydrothermal process is as follow: Microcline → kaliophilite (as metastable materials) → kalsilite. • The K-feldspar is completely decomposed at 280 ℃ for 120 min. • Potassium and aluminum in kalsilite are easily leached by ammonium hydrogen sulfate solution. A novel hydrothermal alkaline process combined with ammonium hydrogen sulfate solution leaching process for improving the comprehensive utilization value of the mineral K-feldspar was developed. In this technology, K-feldspar was first decomposed by the alkaline hydrothermal method, forming kalsilite in the resultant products, where potassium and aluminum were easily leached by ammonium hydrogen sulfate solution. The effects of hydrothermal temperature, concentration, and excess rate of potassium hydroxide on the leaching rate of alumina were investigated. The products obtained under various conditions were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The results show that the hydrothermal temperature has a predominant influence on the hydrothermal decomposition of K-feldspar. With the hydrothermal time of 30 min, the leaching rate of alumina at 280 °C is 62.5 % higher than that at 220 °C. The K-feldspar is completely decomposed at 280 °C for 120 min. The concentration of potassium hydroxide has little effect on the decomposition of K-feldspar.
