The swift progress in portable spectrometer technology has fostered a widespread need for compact light sources. Concurrently, near-infrared phosphor-converted light-emitting diodes (NIR pc-LEDs), characterized by their low cost and compact structure, emerge as an optimal choice. Inspired by phase optimization through fluxes, we successfully synthesized pure phase Lu 3 Mg 2 GaSi 2 O 12 (LMGS):Cr3+, 3 wt%MgF 2 luminescent materials by incorporating various fluxes including LiF, NaF, MgF 2 , CaF 2 , SrF 2 and BaF 2. These materials emit broadband NIR light ranging from 620 nm to 1150 nm, with full width at half-maximums (FWHMs) exceeding 125 nm. By employing a dual-fluxes strategy to further enhance the luminescence intensity of Cr3+, the LMGS:3%Cr3+, 1 wt%NaF, 2 wt%MgF 2 sample exhibits a 2.45 times increase in emission intensity compared to the LMGS:3%Cr3+, 3 wt%MgF 2 sample. Concurrently, the quantum efficiency rises from 24 % to 46 %. Moreover, the integrated emission intensity of LMGS:3%Cr3+, 1 wt%NaF, 2 wt%MgF 2 retains at 75 %@425 K of its value at RT. Upon coupled with a 430 nm LED chip, the luminescent material exhibits an NIR output power of 43.8 mW@300 mA, indicating promising applications in rapid night identification, night vision and non-destructive testing. This investigation enhances the catalytic efficiency of Co–B/CNTs for hydrogen production via sodium borohydride hydrolysis by doping with 5%Y 2 O 3. Such doping significantly boosts hydrogen evolution rates, with Co–Y 2 O 3 –B/CNTs achieving a production rate of 1083.43 ml g−1·min−1—surpassing Co–B/CNTs by 1.5 times and tripling that of Co–B catalysts. SEM and XRD analyses show Y 2 O 3 doping reduces particle aggregation and maintains the catalyst's amorphous state, thereby increasing the active surface area. Furthermore, XPS analysis demonstrates that introducing yttrium into Co–B/CNTs catalysts improves their surface elemental composition and valence states. This improvement boosts catalyst performance and stability by enhancing electron transfer and particle size optimization. Optimal hydrolysis is achieved at an NaOH concentration of 2.5 mol/L, with higher concentrations diminishing hydrogen production due to increased viscosity from by-product formation. Additionally, Co–Y 2 O 3 –B/CNTs catalysts exhibit commendable durability, maintaining more than two-thirds of their initial activity after five reuse cycles, outperforming comparable catalysts to a moderate extent. With the increasing role of near-infrared (NIR) light sources in many fields such as food and industry, NIR emitting phosphors have flourished in recent years. In addition to the widely reported Cr3+-activated NIR phosphors, environmentally friendly Fe3+ can also produce tunable broadband NIR spectra, which are expected to enrich the next generation of intelligent NIR light sources. In this work, a series of Fe3+-activated perovskite-type Sr 2 ScSbO 6 (SSSO) NIR phosphors were successfully prepared and an emission wavelength of 900 nm with a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 110 nm was obtained. Through the crystal field engineering strategy, the lattice site of Sr2+ was completely replaced by Ba2+ and Ca2+ to obtain Ba 2 ScSbO 6 (BSSO) and Ca 2 ScSbO 6 (CSSO), and the emission peak was continuously adjusted from 840 nm to 950 nm. When the temperature increased from 300 K to 400 K, BSSO:Fe3+, SSSO:Fe3+ and CSSO:Fe3+ could maintain 69 %, 82 % and 67 % of the original luminescence intensity, respectively. The opposite crystal field dependence between Fe3+ and Cr3+ was shown in double-layer perovskite-type antimonate materials, which could guide us to develop Fe3+-activated long-wavelength emission NIR phosphors. Benefiting from the long-wavelength emission of BSSO:Fe3+, SSSO:Fe3+, and CSSO:Fe3+, their application potential in the field of spectral analysis and rapid nighttime recognition were successfully demonstrated. Cardiac magnetic resonance feature tracking (CMR-FT) is a novel technique for assessing myocardial deformation and dysfunction. However, a comprehensive assessment of normal values of strain parameters in all 4 cardiac chambers using different vendors is lacking. This study aimed to characterize the normal values for myocardial strain in all 4 cardiac chambers and identify factors that contribute to variations in FT strain through a systematic review and meta-analysis of the CMR-FT published reports. The investigators searched PubMed, Embase, and Scopus for myocardial strains of all 4 chambers measured by CMR-FT in healthy adults. The pooled means of all strain parameters were generated using a random-effects model. Subgroup analyses and meta-regressions were performed to identify the sources of variations. This meta-analysis included 44 studies with a total of 3,359 healthy subjects. The pooled means of left ventricular global longitudinal strain (LV-GLS), LV global radial strain, and LV global circumferential strain (GCS) were −18.4% (95% CI: −19.2% to −17.6%), 43.7% (95% CI: 40.0%-47.4%), and −21.4% (95% CI: −22.3% to −20.6%), respectively. The pooled means of left atrial (LA)-GLS (corresponding to total strain, passive strain, and active strain) were 34.9% (95% CI: 29.6%-40.2%), 21.3% (95% CI: 16.6%-26.1%) and 14.3% (95% CI: 11.8%-16.8%), respectively. The pooled means of right ventricular (RV)-GLS and right atrial global longitudinal total strain were −24.0% (95% CI: −25.8% to −22.1%) and 36.3% (95% CI: 15.5%-57.0%), respectively. Meta-regression identified field strength (P < 0.001; I 2 = 98.6%) and FT vendor (P < 0.001; I 2 = 98.5%) as significant confounders contributing to heterogeneity of LV-GLS. The variations of LA-GLS active were associated with regional distribution (P < 0.001; I 2 = 97.3%) and FT vendor (P < 0.001; I 2 = 97.4%). Differences in FT vendor were attributed to variations of LV-GCS and RV-GLS (P = 0.02; I 2 = 98.8% and P = 0.01; I 2 = 93.8%). This study demonstrated the normal values of CMR-FT strain parameters in all 4 cardiac chambers in healthy subjects. Differences in FT vendor contributed to the heterogeneity of LV-GLS, LV-GCS, LA-GLS active , and RV-GLS, whereas sex, age, and MR vendor had no effect on the normal values of CMR-FT strain measurements. NA Evaluate the safety and feasibility of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in the treatment of giant congenital melanocytic nevi (GCMN) in children with human acellular dermal matrix (HADM) transplantation. A total of 22 children with GCMN were included in the study. They were divided into an experimental and a control group. The experimental group used the method of HADM with Razor Autologous Skin Graft combined with PRP to repair skin and soft tissue defects after giant nevus resection (Group A, n = 11). The control group was treated with HADM with Razor Autologous Skin Graft (Group B, n = 11) only. To compare the survival rate of skin grafts, we used the Vancouver Scar Scale (VSS) for the postoperative skin graft area and the Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale (POSAS) to compare the two groups of patients. There was no statistically significant difference in age, gender, location of giant nevi, and pathological classification between Group A and Group (P > 0.05). The survival rate of skin grafting and the VSS and POSAS scores of scar tissue in group A were superior to those of group B (P < 0.05). PRP has improved the survival rate of composite skin grafting in children with GCMN, and long-term satisfactory prognosis of scar healing. It is still challenging for cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) to detect ischemic heart disease (IHD) without the use of gadolinium contrast. We aimed to evaluate the potential value of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) stress myocardial strain derived from feature tracking (FT) as a novel method for detecting IHD in a swine model. CMR cines, myocardial perfusion imaging at rest and during ATP stress, and late gadolinium enhancement were obtained in both control and IHD swine. Normal, remote, ischemic, and infarcted myocardium were analyzed. The diagnostic accuracy of myocardial strain for infarction and ischemia was assessed using coronary angiography and pathology as reference. Eleven IHD swine and five healthy control swine were enrolled in this study. Strain parameters, even at rest, were associated with myocardial ischemia and infarction(all p < 0.05). The area under receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) values of all strain parameters for detecting infarcted myocardium exceeded 0.900 (all p < 0.05). The AUC values for detecting ischemic myocardium were as follows: 0.906 and 0.847 for stress and rest radial strain, 0.763 and 0.716 for stress and rest circumferential strain, 0.758 and 0.663 for stress and rest longitudinal strain (all p < 0.001). Heat maps demonstrated that all strain parameters showed mild to moderate correlations with the stress myocardial blood flow and myocardial perfusion reserve (all p < 0.05). CMR-FT-derived ATP stress myocardial strain shows promise as a noninvasive method for detecting myocardial ischemia and infarction in an IHD swine model, with rest strain parameters offering potential as a needle-free diagnostic option.
