Laser surface texturing (LST) has emerged as a powerful technique for creating surface patterns on various materials, including metals, polymers, and ceramics. Among LST methods, laser wobbling surface texturing (LWST) offers distinct advantages over traditional surface modification techniques. It provides a precise and non-contact approach to customize surface properties without affecting the bulk material. This study investigates the effects of amplitude and frequency of LWST as a surface modification strategy to mitigate high-temperature corrosion in AISI 301LN stainless steel, representing the first investigation of its kind. The study extensively examines the impact of LWST on surface morphology, wettability, phase transformation, and microhardness of 301LN stainless steel. The results reveal that the wobbling frequency of LWST has a greater effect on the surface roughness than the wobbling amplitude. Higher surface roughness of LWST promotes the increase of the surface area and altered surface energy, resulting in an increased wetting behavior. X-ray diffraction analysis confirms a moderate phase transformation from austenite to martensite in the laser-treated samples, which increases the surface hardness compared to the non-treated material. Finally, the corrosion tests conducted in molten carbonate salt at 600 °C evidence a reduction of the corrosion rate around 20 %. Due to the growing concerns about the increasing release of consumer products to the environment, especially for defective electronic products, the management of the closed-loop supply chain (CLSC) is emerging. To do this, a chain consisting of a manufacturer, a retailer, and a collector is offered in a manufacturer-led Stackelberg game. Due to the presenting of some concepts in the model, which are provided by considering two categories of customers for primary and secondary goods, it is suitable for electronics supply chains. In order to coordinate between the members of the chain, a hierarchical revenue sharing (HRS) contract is introduced, which is suitable for some members of the chain where operate as a holding company. In the following, some numerical examples are applied to examine the applicability of the proposed models. The results of the sensitivity analysis on the main parameters of the problem indicate an increase in the profitability of all members in the coordination contract compared to the decentralized mode. Furthermore, customer sensitivity to price and quality has also inverse and direct impact to members' profitability, respectively. Each of the analyzes provides some in-depth managerial implications that can be considered for future research. A simple framework was proposed for quantitative characterization and modeling of composite microstructures, in which the degree of particle distribution homogeneity, the mean spacing between particles, the average particle size, and the volume fraction of particles are appropriately integrated into the model. One of the main prospects of this technique is quantifying the degree of inhomogeneity of particle distribution, which is essential during processing and post-processing of metal-matrix composites (MMCs) for structural refinement. The outcome of the developed model based on experimental verification was promising and it is anticipated that this model finds applications in improving the fabrication process of MMCs, especially where a comparative study has to be conducted.
