Résumé But de l’étude L’objectif général de l’étude est d’évaluer les liens entre l’organisation neuropsychomotrice néonatale précoce et le blues du post-partum (BPP) maternel, longitudinalement à partir du post-partum immédiat (PPI). La première partie de la recherche a identifié trois types d’expérience émotionnelle maternelle dans le PPI (BPP ordinaire ; BPP triste, intense et durable ; absence de blues) et mis en évidence une corrélation étroite entre blues ordinaire et compétences particulières néonatales. L’objectif de la deuxième partie de l’étude, qui fait l’objet du présent article, était d’évaluer l’évolution de ces dyades mères-bébés grâce aux interactions mère-bébé à deux mois. Patients et méthode La population initiale est de 21 dyades mères-bébés, 13 ont été revues à deux mois. Deux entretiens cliniques semi-structurés (à la maternité et à j10 après la sortie) ont permis de repérer les symptômes de blues et son caractère transitoire ou durable. Les données collectées ont permis la construction d’une classification clinique en trois groupes. Les bébés étaient évalués grâce l’examen de Brazelton (NBAS) à la maternité. À deux mois, les interactions mères-bébés ont été évaluées par l’échelle de notations globales des interactions mère-bébé. Résultats Les femmes ayant présenté un blues triste, intense et durable présentent un désajustement relationnel particulièrement franc dans l’interaction avec leur bébé. Les compétences neuropsychomotrices des bébés facilitent la qualité générale de leurs interactions avec leurs mères. Les difficultés de régulation des enfants observées à deux mois sont présentes dès le PPI. Les bébés les plus en difficulté dans l’interaction avec leur mère à huit semaines, telle qu’observée à l’échelle de notations globales des interactions mère-bébé à deux mois, ont majoritairement de moindres capacités propres d’organisation à la naissance, selon l’examen de Brazelton. Conclusion Tenant compte des caractéristiques et limites méthodologiques de l’étude (suivi longitudinal, petit nombre de sujets revus à deux mois), le blues apparaît comme une manifestation pronostique pour le lien mère-enfant. Dans sa forme modérée et transitoire, il contribuerait à une meilleure régulation du bébé et à de meilleurs ajustements relationnels ultérieurs entre mère et enfant. Par contre, une BPP triste, intense et durable constitue l’indice d’une psychopathologie maternelle qui se retrouve dans les difficultés d’ajustement interactif mère-bébé deux mois plus tard. Background The overall objective of the study is to assess the relationship between early neonatal neuropsychomotor organization and maternal postpartum blues (PPB), studied longitudinally from immediate postpartum (IPP). The first part of the research identified three types of maternal emotional experience in the IPP (ordinary and emotionally mixed PPB; sad, intense and lasting PPB; without blues) and showed a strong correlation between ordinary blues and a set of specific skills in neuropsychomotrice organization, coordination, and maturity in their infants. Postpartum blues may promote a certain openness to emotional exchange between mother and her infant. Maternal psychological experience of this particular type of PPB could therefore facilitate the adjustment of the mother to her baby and allow him a better development of his self-regulatory capacity. The objective of the second part of the study, which is the subject of this publication, was to evaluate the evolution of the mother-infant dyads through mother-infant interactions at 2 months. Methods Twenty-one mother-infant dyads were included at maternity wards. Two semi-structured clinical interviews (at the maternity and D10) have identified the symptoms and the degree of transient or lasting PPB. The data collected allowed the construction of a clinical classification into three groups. Newborns were examined using the NBAS. At 2 months, 13 dyads were reviewed, assessment of mother-infant interactions allowed us to complete the Global Ratings for Mothers-Infant Interactions at 2 months. Findings Women with sad, intense and lasting PPB present a particularly straightforward relational mismatch in the interaction with their baby. The neuropsychomotrices skills and tonic postural babies facilitate the overall quality of their interactions with their mothers, regardless of the adjustment of the latter, even if the “cost” for the child to maintain a good relationship adjustment is probably higher when the mother has difficulty dealing with the child and the interaction. Our results suggest that these infant's regulatory capacities observed at 2 months-aged are to be connected to the characteristics during the IPP. Among the 8-week-old babies whose interactions were the most distorted with their mothers, as showed at the Global Ratings for Mothers-Infant Interactions at 2 months, a majority had less positive self-organization at birth at the Brazelton's examination. From birth to 2 months, our results show a form of coherent continuity: the presence of an ordinary and emotionally mixed PPB and high scores on the NBAS items at birth promote quality of mother-infant interactions a few weeks later. Conversely, when a number of maternal’ and infantile’ characteristics are negatively oriented at birth, interactions may be affected. Mother-infant’ interactions at 2 months show lack of mutuality and harmony when the mother was afflicted with a sad, intense and lasting PPB and her infant had low scores on the NBAS. Conclusion Taking into account the characteristics and methodological limitations of the study (longitudinal study, few subjects reviewed at 2 months), the blues appears as a prognostic manifestation for the mother-child bond. Ordinary and emotionally mixed BPP would contribute to a better regulation of the baby and to a better adjustment of the mother-child relation. Conversely, sad, intense and lasting PPB is the index of a maternal psychopathology, which is reflected in interactive difficulties mother-baby 2 months later. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract: The aim of the study was to identify clear clinical signs and symptoms, which are specific of developmental coordination disorder (DCD) or developmental dyspraxia subtypes. Population and methods: It is a prospective, descriptive and analytical study conducted on 43 school-age children with DCD selected on DSM-IV-R criteria, without any other medical affection and aged 5 to 15 years old. Standardized psychological, neuropsychological and neuropsychomotor tests with neurovisual examination were administered. Results: The mean age of children was 8.31±2.39 years. We distinguished significative diagnostic criteria of two pure developmental dyspraxia: ideomotor (IM) and visual-spatial/visual-constructional dyspraxia (VSC), and those of a mix dyspraxia (MX), associated with IM and VSC, but including specific motor coordination disorders and more comorbidities of soft-signs and cognitive impairments. The IM group is affected (P <.05) on digital praxis, gnosopraxis and digital gnosis. VSC group is characterized (P <.05) by visual motor integration, visual spatial structuring and visual spatial constructional deficits. Moreover, there were no significant visual perceptual or neurovisual disorders, outside oculomotricity (visual pursuits). If writing is often affected (88 %), this does not imply it is a dysgraphia (19 %). We found 35 % of executive motor disorders (discrete spasticity), which are to be, classified as associated disorders. Conclusion: This study is the first exploration of a complete semiology on DCD children, with in-depth neuromotor, neuropsychomotor, psychological and neurocognitive investigations, which allows to establish differential diagnosis, highlight clinical predictor criteria of DCD subtypes, and discuss the etiological hypotheses. Abstract: Nickelate-based oxides are potential cathodes in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells operating at intermediate temperatures. The chemical compatibility between apatite electrolyte, i.e., La9Sr1Si6O26.5, and Nd-deficient nickelate, i.e., Nd1.95NiO4+ δ , has been characterized. The equilibrium between the nickelate material and the gas phase has been studied as functions of temperature and oxygen partial pressure, using potentiometric measurements with microelectrodes, i.e., metallic or ceramic point electrodes. Two solid electrolytes were used, i.e., apatite and yttria-stabilized zirconia. The response of the nickelate is discussed in terms of oxygen stoichiometry. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: The neodymium-deficient nickelate Nd1.95NiO4+δ , mixed conducting K2NiF4-type oxide, was evaluated as cathode for solid oxide fuel cells. The electrochemical properties were investigated on planar Ni–YSZ anode-supported SOFC based on co-tape casted and co-fired HTceramix® cells. Using a layer of strontium doped lanthanum cobaltite as current collector, a current density of 1.31Acm−2 (at 0.70V) was obtained at 800°C using hydrogen fuel with small single cells, after optimizing the cathode sintering temperature. Impedance spectroscopy measurements were performed; the different resistive contributions and the values of the corresponding equivalent capacities are discussed. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: This work deals with SOFC single cell tests using neodymium nickelate Nd1.95NiO4+ δ as cathode material. This MIEC oxide exhibits high values of both surface exchange coefficient (k) and oxygen diffusion coefficient (D *), as well as high electronic conductivity, which result in an enhanced electrochemical activity with respect to classical materials. The SOFC cells were fabricated from an anode-supported electrolyte half-cell provided by InDEC B.V. Corporation, with a 36mm diameter. The Nd1.95NiO4+ δ cathode was prepared as a two-stage electrode consisting of a thin interlayer of several hundred nanometers covered by a thicker layer of dozens microns. The Nd1.95NiO4+ δ oxide powders were synthesized using different routes in order to reduce the final annealing temperature, and to subsequently obtain submicronic powders. I–V characteristics of the single cells were investigated under hydrogen–air conditions. The power densities versus current densities curves are reported and the results of impedance spectroscopy measurements performed under these operating conditions are discussed. Abstract: The impedance spectra of Nd2NiO4+δ , La1−x Sr x MnO3 and platinum pin-shaped electrodes pressed on the surface of an electrolyte pellet (Yttria Stabilized Zirconia) have been recorded as a function of temperature, in air atmosphere, under zero dc conditions. Such an electrode configuration was used to study the characteristics of the air electrode reaction with respect to the nature of the electrode material, the geometry of the electrode–electrolyte contact being the same for all electrodes. The impedance data were analyzed and the results evidence different oxygen reduction mechanisms depending on the nature of the oxide, Mixed Ionic and Electronic Conducting (MIEC) oxide for the nickelate, bad ionic but electronic conductor for the manganite and metallic for the platinum. Abstract: Ln2NiO4+δ based materials (Ln=La, Nd or Pr), show very good electrocatalytic performances as SOFC cathode: the oxygen diffusion coefficient D * and the surface exchange coefficient k measured by isotopic exchange are several orders of magnitude higher than that of the standard LSM cathode material. They are good mixed ionic and electronic conductors (MIEC) due to the mixed valence of the transition metal cation M and to the presence of mobile additional oxygen atoms. Therefore, the O2 reduction is not limited by a charge transfer process occurring usually at the one-dimensional “three-phase boundary” interface between gas, electrode and electrolyte characteristic of metallic cathodes. This study aims to characterise the reaction kinetics at O2(g), Ln2NiO4+δ /zirconia porous electrodes in the temperature range 500–800°C, under air. In order to identify interfaces and electrode processes, ac electrochemical impedance spectroscopy was used under zero bias conditions with symmetrical cells. Using the Schouler method, the electrode/electrolyte interface impedance has been clearly identified as the limiting step. Furthermore, electrode properties have also been measured under non-zero dc conditions with a three-electrode cell. The polarisation curves allow to confirm that Ln2NiO4+δ oxides are promising materials for SOFC cathode. The observed overpotentials are lower than those observed for LSM under the same current and temperature conditions. Nevertheless, the interface between Ln2NiO4+δ and zirconia should be optimised by a better shaping because the interfacial resistance appears to be the most important contribution to the total impedance. Introduction Le Trouble de l’acquisition de la coordination (TAC) constitue un groupe hétérogène d’enfants porteurs de troubles moteurs. La nature de ces troubles est mal définie en raison de l’utilisation d’outils d’évaluation de performances motrices globales. Il apparaît ainsi dans la littérature un seul groupe commun à toutes les études qui ont tenté une classification de sous-types, avec des déficits à toutes les épreuves. L’objectif de cette étude est de définir les variables cliniques les plus discriminantes de ce groupe global ou mixte et de mettre en évidence les comorbidités spécifiques. Matériel et méthodes Cinquant-huit enfants (6–13 ans) présentant les critères du TAC selon le DSM-5 et appartenant à un sous-type TAC soit visuo-spatial/constructif, soit mixte ont été inclus et examinés de façon complète (neuropsychologique, neuro-psychomoteur avec une batterie développementale standardisée [NP-MOT], neurovisuel et avec une IRM systématique). Résultats Un déficit à l’imitation de gestes, perception digitale, praxies, dextérité manuelle, coordination des membres supérieurs et inférieurs, caractérise le groupe Mixte. Trente-trois pour cent de stretchs reflexes phasiques (SRP) sont observés à la dorsi-flexion du pied (tonus/NP-MOT) mais non associés à ces déficits ou à un sous-type de TAC mais avec un dysfonctionnement neurologique mineur au niveau du tonus postural ( p = 0,004) et une dysdiadococinésie ( p = 0,011). La présence d’un SRP augmente les troubles de la coordination globale et de la dextérité manuelle. Discussion–conclusion Ces données suggèrent qu’il existe une forme discrète de spasticité distale affectant la commande motrice, rarement examinée avec le TAC, constituant une comorbidité sans la mise en évidence d’une anomalie cérébrale à l’IRM. Introduction L’usage de substances et les comportements à risque associés sont courants chez les PVVIH et nécessitent des interventions de réduction des risques. L’objectif de cette étude est de mieux comprendre leur lien avec la qualité de vie liée à l’état de santé, le niveau d’anxiété et de dépression et avec les traits de personnalité. Matériels et méthodes Les PVVIH françaises ont été recrutées dans les hôpitaux et en milieu associatif. Les comportements addictifs comprenaient le mode de consommation de substances psychoactives. La qualité de vie liée à la santé (QDV) a été mesurée par le questionnaire PROQOL-VIH comportant 4 dimensions : impact physique, mental, social et impact du traitement (scores allant de 0 à 100, 100 reflétant une meilleure QDV). Le niveau d’anxiété et de dépression a été mesurée par HADS. Le questionnaire « Temperament and Character Inventory » (TCI) évaluait les traits de personnalité. Résultats Au total, 517 PVVIH ont été recrutées (principalement dans les hôpitaux : 81 %). Trente pour cent étaient des femmes, âge moyen de 48 ans, 89 % avaient une charge virale indétectable. Quinze pour cent ont rapporté une consommation quotidienne d’alcool et 34 % une consommation excessive (« Binge Drinking »). Un tiers de l’échantillon fumait. Les drogues les plus couramment utilisés étaient : cannabis (16 %), poppers (14 %), cocaïne (6 %), ecstasy (4 %) et GHB (4 %). La consommation de drogue injectable (IDU) était associée à une QDV plus altérée : physique (64 vs 73), mentale (62 vs 70), sociale (58 vs 61) et à des scores plus élevés d’anxiété (8,5 vs 7,3) et de dépression (6,8 vs 5,4). 34 % des patients ont rapporté des rapports sexuels non protégés et 5 % des rapports sexuels rémunérés. Les produits les plus consommées pendant les rapports sexuels étaient les poppers (18 %), l’alcool (12 %) et la cocaïne (7 %). Sur l’échantillon entier, 12 % déclarent toujours ou souvent consommer de la drogue ou de l’alcool lors des rapports sexuels. L’utilisation de ces produits était significativement associée à rapports sexuels non protégés (65 % vs 35 %, p = 0,001). Le comportement de recherche de risque et les traits de personnalité étaient significativement associés à l’alcool, au tabagisme et à l’usage de drogues, mais pas aux relations sexuelles non protégées. Conclusion Dans l’étude d’EQUIPIER, le comportement sexuel à risque était principalement associé à la consommation de drogues et d’alcool ; alors que la consommation IDU était associée à une QDV altérée et un niveau plus élevé de dépression/anxiété.
