Studies the effectiveness and safety of intravenous dofetilide for the rapid termination of atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter. Evidence that dofetilide is effective in termination atrial fibrillation/flutter when there are contraindications for class I drugs and beta blockers; Importance of selective class III action for terminating atrial flutter.
