Abstract

Abstract We present a lattice calculation on the cross-correlations of conserved charges (baryon number, electric charge and strangeness) near the transition temperature. We extrapolate to small baryo-chemical potentials, and thus we cover typical STAR energies. We confront our finding to the latest STAR date set on cross-correlations. Abstract

An efficient way to study the QCD phase diagram at small finite density is to extrapolate thermodynamical observables from imaginary chemical potential. The phase diagram features a crossover line starting from the transition temperature already determined at zero chemical potential. In this work we focus on the Taylor expansion of this line up to μ 4 contributions. Abstract

Abstract A new precision lattice simulation set is analyzed for the equation of state to sixth order. We used lattice results at imaginary chemical potentials to calculate the Taylor coefficients, from which the pressure, trace anomaly, energy and entropy density as well as the baryon number can be derived.
