Abstract

Access to psychiatry and behavioral treatment is limited in remote geographical regions where most mental health concerns are managed by primary care physicians (PCPs). The Partnership Access Line (PAL) at Seattle Children's Hospital conducted a "PAL Plus" pilot in 2017 under a state-funded mandate to bring behavioral mental health treatment to the underserved areas of Washington State.
