Abstract

Robug IIs, an intelligent legged climbing service robot designed to work in relatively unstructured and rough terrain, and has the capability of walking, climbing vertical surfaces and performing autonomous floor to wall transfer is being tested. A test result on a real-scale model of a Magnox nuclear reactor pressure vessel has proved the usefulness of the robot.
