Microorganisms play a significant role in the quality formation of raw Pu' er tea, and volatile compounds mainly contribute to the aroma quality. However, different de-enzyming methods on the quality of raw Pu' er tea has not yet been reported. Microbiome and metabolomics were employed to comprehensively compare and analyze microbial community and volatile compounds in machine de-enzyming raw Pu' er tea (JS) and manual de-enzyming raw Pu' er tea (SS) in this study. High-throughput sequencing results showed that bacterial and fungal community compositions of JS and SS samples at phylum and genus levels were essentially identical, differed in relative abundance. A total of 65 and 71 volatile compounds were detected and characterized in JS and SS samples, respectively. Volatile components in JS and SS samples were mainly composed of alcohols, esters, aldehydes, alkanes, benzene and its derivatives, ketones, alkenes, phenols. A total of 88 differential volatile components between JS and SS samples were screened based on VIP >1 and p-value < 0.05. Those results indicated that both microbial community composition and volatile compounds in raw Pu' er tea influenced by different de-enzyming methods. This work helps reveal the effect of different de-enzyming methods on the quality of raw Pu' er tea and provide a scientific reference basis for the improvement of raw Pu' er tea quality. Millions of tons of red mud produced as a by-product of the alumina industry by Bayer process not only threatens the environment but also causes waste of secondary resources. To recover iron from red mud, the technology of reduction roasting-magnetic separation to treat high-iron red mud was developed; however, it was difficult to upgrade by separating iron and alumina. In this paper, the effects of high-manganese iron ore on the direct reduction process of high-iron red mud were investigated through various tests such as reduction temperature, reduction time, C/Fe mass ratio, and addition amount of high-manganese iron ore. The results showed that the metallization rate of the direct reduction of high-iron red mud reaches 84.07% roasting at 1150 °C, 150 min and C/Fe mass ratio of 2.0. By synergistic reducing with 60% high-manganese iron ore, the metallization rate increased to 93.52%. The results of phase and microstructure evolution analysis showed that adding high-manganese iron ore, the content of ilmenite, hercynite and fayalite were reduced, and pyrophanite, galaxite and tephroite were formed, indicating that MnO, one of the reduction products of high-manganese iron ore, can react with ilmenite, hercynite and fayalite to generate pyrophanite, galaxite and tephroite in the reduction process, and further dissociated FeO, which was conducive to the reduction of high-iron red mud. Buckwheat sprouts (BS) becomes popular due to its' health-promoting properties as food product. The effects of fermentation with Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Lactobacillus plantarum on antioxidant and hypolipidemic activities as well as functional composition in common BS cultivated in maifanite mineral water were investigated here. DPPH and ·OH results showed higher antioxidant potential in fermented BS compared to unfermented BS, due to the higher rutin, orientin, isoorientin, vitexin, isovitexin, and total phenolic and flavonoid contents. The S. cerevisiae -fermented BS also exhibited 113% and 110% higher DPPH and ·OH scavenging activities than the L. plantarum -fermented BS, respectively. In hyperlipidemic mice, blood lipid parameters were improved as dose-dependent manner when supplemented the food with S. cerevisiae -fermented BS. Fermented BS also restored liver antioxidant levels significantly. The fermented BS had greater effect on different parameters than those of unfermented BS. Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) based localization is one of the most promising techniques for high accuracy localization. The crucial factor that aggravates the localization precision is None-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) propagation. To address this issue, we propose a novel NLOS identification algorithm with feature selection strategy and a localization algorithm based on Import Vector Machine (IVM) with high accuracy and low complexity. The feature selection strategy further meliorates the classification accuracy. The probability outputs of IVM is employed by the localization algorithm and yields higher positioning accuracy than its counterpart methods – Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Relevance Vector Machine (RVM). • Polyethylene oxide (PEO) caused stronger flocculation of ultra-fine quartz than hematite. • PEO flocculated ultra-fine quartz could still be floated by cationic collector. • Starch and PEO led to asynchronous flocculation of hematite and quartz, respectively. • Addition of PEO improved separation of ultra-fine hematite from ultrafine quartz. Starch was used as a selective depressant/flocculant for ultra-fine hematite, and polyethylene oxide (PEO) was used as a flocculant for ultra-fine quartz in the reverse cationic flotation of ultra-fine hematite-quartz mixtures. Batch flotation, sedimentation, focused beam reflectance measurement (FBRM) and scanning electron microscopic (SEM) measurements were performed to investigate the flotation separation performance and the mechanisms of the asynchronous flocculation flotation process. The results indicated that with the addition of 50 g/t PEO, the grade and recovery of the iron concentrate were increased by 2.3 and 2.9 percentage points, respectively. Abstract: A silica-rich tailing from vanadium extraction has been used for geopolymer synthesis in combination with metakaolin (MK) as an additional-Al source. Results show that alkaline roasting pretreatment effectively enhance geopolymerisation ability of the tailing in terms of XRD analysis and leaching tests. Strengths of samples can be improved by adding proper quantities of MK, or appropriately raising curing temperature. Curing temperature also affects the Si/Al ratio since higher curing temperature is more favorable for releasing Al. The highest compressive strength of 55.7MPa can be obtained. The behaviors of impurity elements Ca and Fe in vanadium-bearing stone coal during roasting were investigated in two aspects: combining with vanadium and reacting with other phases. As compared to Na, Ca was more easily combined with vanadium generating water-insoluble calcium-bearing vanadate during roasting. The phase distribution calculated by FactSage showed that Ca reacted with quartz and albite to form amorphous phases, resulting in the entrapment of vanadium, thereby decreasing vanadium recovery markedly. In contrast, Fe in stone coal did not affect vanadium recovery as it did not combine with vanadium and not react with other phases during roasting. In order to decrease the negative effects derived from the impurity elements such as Ca, a control measure of concentrating vanadium and reducing impurities treatment was carried out to decrease the dosage of Na 2 SO 4 and improve vanadium recovery. Objectives To examine the feasibility of three-dimensional computed tomography ( 3D-CT) image fusion in facilitating assessment of the ablative margin ( AM) after radiofrequency ablation ( RFA) of hepatocellular carcinoma ( HCC). Methods This study involved 75 patients with solitary HCC who underwent RFA. The AM was evaluated using 3D-CT image fusion. All cases were categorized into two groups based on the extent of the AM: in Group A, sufficient AM was obtained, which was greater than or equal to 5 mm; in Group B, the lesion was also ablated successfully, but a 5 mm AM was not obtained. Results 3D-CT Image Fusion was performed on 36 and 39 patients in Group A and Group B, respectively. The 1, 3, 5 year RFS was 87.6%, 63.2%, 50.6% for Group A, and 77.2%, 51.5%, 35.6% for Group B, respectively ( P = 0.042); the corresponding OS was 94.3%, 73.8%, 64.6%, and 86.2%, 60.5%, 47.6%, respectively ( P = 0.046). Multivariate analysis showed that the AM ( P = 0.048, HR = 2.15, 95% CI 1.01-4.60) and Pre- NLR were independent prognostic factors for PFS. Abstract: For vanadium extraction from stone coal, roasting is usually a necessary procedure to liberate vanadium from crystal structure. In the roasting process, the characterizations of phase transformation and temperature of onset of sintering are very important. A new method for calculating the mineral phase and liquid phase formation temperature (LPFT) using FactSage software is described in this study. The mineral phases of roasted stone coal with different chemical components calculated by FactSage were consistent with those analyzed by XRD. The change trends of the LPFTs calculated by FactSage also agreed well with those of the temperatures of onset of sintering measured by apparent density method. This new method is less labor-intensive and less costly compared with XRD and apparent density method. Moreover, it also can provide prediction of roasting temperature range, additive species and dosage for vanadium extraction from stone coal. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: In China, more than 87% of vanadium is discovered from stone coal. However, because the vanadium grade in stone coal is generally low, current vanadium extraction technology faces challenges in terms of large ore tonnage and high energy consumption, acid consumption and cost. A new process for pre-concentration of vanadium from stone coal by gravity separation was investigated based on mineralogical study. It was confirmed that the vanadium occurred in muscovite and illite, and the acid consuming minerals were pyrite and calcite. The process comprised three key steps: decarburization, selective grinding and gravity separation. In the decarburization stage, the thermal energy of carbon in the stone coal can be used and the V2O5 grade increased to some extent. The differences of V2O5 grade among different size fractions increased through the selective grinding stage. In the gravity separation stage, 28.9% of the feed ore were rejected as final tailings, while the V2O5 loss was 9.7%. The pre-concentration of vanadium from stone coal can improve the V2O5 grade and decrease the content of high acid consuming minerals.
