Highlights: [•] A magnetic solid phase extraction method based on Fe3O4–SiO2–phenyl was developed. [•] This technique is based on the dispersion of a magnetic adsorbent in liquid samples. [•] Method developed was employed for the extraction of nine sulphonamides from milk. [•] The novel method was validated according European Decision 2002/657/EC.
