Abstract: Oil is one of primary energy sources in modern society, with the development of social economy, the demands of the oil have increased dramatically. However, various oil leakage accidents occur frequently which can cause serious pollution to soil and groundwater, these have become nonnegligible environmental problems. Based on the accident of diesel leakage in Weinan branch of LanZhengChang oil product pipeline, this article analyzes the pollution degree and range of groundwater and soil using Kriging interpolation method, the results indicate that the groundwater and soil pollution is serious and there is no influence on Chishui River after kinds of measures, finally the article puts forward some corresponding countermeasures. Abstract: In the paper Visual MODFLOW, the international standard visualization software, is applied to set up the mathematical model which is used for groundwater flow numerical simulation in Balasu water source. The calibration and validation results of the numerical model indicate that the model can reflect the actual hydrogeological conditions, and can be applied in predicting the future groundwater flow conditions. The prediction results show that scheme 4 is optimal which is necessary for ensuring the safety and the normal operation of Balasu water source. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: In order to put forward a reasonable mining scheme to ensure the safety of Bulang River-Red Stone Bridge water source, the standard visualization software Visual MODFLOW is adopted to simulate the groundwater flow in the study area. The model identification and verification results indicate that the model can reflect the actual hydrogeology conditions, and can be used to forecast groundwater flow. Based on comparative analysis of the prediction results of mining schemes, a reasonable scheme with exploitation quantity of 35000 m3/d is determined to ensure the normal operation of the water source, under which neither the local ecological environment nor the Hailiutu River flow is influenced. Abstract: Aimed at the problem of water shortage for irrigation while reducing the water transfer from the Yellow River in Yinchuan plain, by using hydrogeological numerical model, this paper proposed a set of solutions of combining well irrigation and channel irrigation to satisfy the water demand of agriculture. The result shows that, when the reduction is less than 400 million m3/a, increasing well irrigation can meet the demand of agriculture, while the reduction is between 400 and 930 million m3/a, increasing well irrigation as well as decreasing the field irritation quota can also work. But as for the reduction is greater than 1 billion m3/a, we cannot meet the demand of agricultural irrigation, and this will have great effect on the social economy and ecological environment. Background aims. Mounting evidence shows that non-cell-based transplantation of exosomes derived from mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) has more potential protective and reparative effects than MSCs have. However, whether it is safe to transplant MSC exosomes into tissues is still not clear. In this study, we evaluated the safety of transplantation of exosomes derived from human umbilical cord MSCs (hucMSC exosomes). Methods. hucMSC exosomes were incubated with the cardiac blood from a healthy rabbit, and hemolysis was observed. For analysis of vascular and muscle stimulation, pyrogen, systemic anaphylaxis and hematology indexes, hucMSC exosomes were given to rabbits, guinea pigs and rats. The histological changes in the vascular and muscle sites of injection in rabbits were analyzed by hematoxylin and eosin staining. Allergy symptoms in guinea pigs and rectal temperature of rabbits were observed and recorded. To study safety in vivo, hucMSC exosomes were infused intravenously into rats with acute myocardial infarction. Rats' weight was measured and tail vein blood was collected to evaluate liver and renal function. Results. hucMSC exosomes had a protective effect on weight loss and had no adverse effects on liver or renal function. Other detections, such as hemolysis, vascular and muscle stimulation, systemic anaphylaxis, pyrogen and hematology indexes, also showed that hucMSC exosomes were applicable. Conclusions. hucMSC exosomes are well tolerated in animal models. This study provides evidence for the safety of intravenous infusion in future clinical therapy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
