An electrocatalytic platform based on a novel nanocomposite integrated with a grid search-optimized neural network (GSNN) was proposed for intelligent sensing of tryptophan. The cuprospinel-decorated chitosan-functionalized carbon nanofibers (CuFe 2 O 4 /Chit-CNFs) fabricated on a disposable electrode revealed exceptional electrocatalytic activity with a low detection limit (2 nM) and good sensitivity (79.18 μAμM -1  cm -2 ) over a broad linear range (0.05-152.55 μM). Cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry were employed, and the sensing mechanism of tryptophan entails its electrocatalytic oxidation, where the synergistic impact of CuFe 2 O 4 and Chit-CNFs boosts electrochemical response owing to their high surface area and conductivity. GSNN-based intelligent sensing returned a root mean square error (RMSE) of 2.76 and a mean absolute error (MAE) of 1.12. Moreover, the sensor's performance was tested on samples from apple juice, tomato juice, pineapple juice, and milk for assessing practicality, demonstrating recovery between 96.93 and 101.06 % and maximum relative standard deviation of 2.63 %. Accurate detection of feed additive is significant for food safety monitoring, warding off its illegal use in livestock production, safeguarding public health, and regulatory compliance. Hence, this paper presents a cost-effective and ultrasensitive electrochemical sensor for detecting commonly used animal feed additive, ractopamine to combat food frauds in meat samples. The sensor was created by embedding spinel zinc ferrite nanospheres (ZnFe 2 O 4 ) on three-dimensional graphene (3DG) nanosheets using sonochemical method. ZnFe 2 O 4 nanospheres were synthesized using solvothermal approach, and 3DG was prepared using hydrothermal method. Various characterization techniques were used for inspecting structural and morphological properties of materials, including XRD, SEM, TEM, elemental mapping, Raman spectroscopy, XPS, and EIS. The hybrid nanocomposite modified electrode showed excellent electrochemical performance, with high sensitivity of 16.97 μA μM -1  cm -2 and detection limit of 1 nM. It is pivotal to precisely detect food preservatives to ascertain food quality and safety. In this work, we report the sensitive electrochemical detection of widely used cytotoxic food preservative tert-butylhydroquinone (TBHQ). A novel nanocomposite was sonochemically prepared by embedding ternary metal oxide (TMO) comprising ZnO, CuO, and MgO in β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) functionalized carbon black (CB). The properties of the prepared nanocomposite were evaluated by employing multiple characterization methods. The nanocomposite fabricated on a screen printed carbon electrode exhibited exceptional electrocatalytic activity towards TBHQ detection, evident from the resultant very low detection limit of 1 nM and high sensitivity of 22.67 μA μM -1 cm -2 . Moreover, the developed TBHQ sensor evinced all the important traits of a good electrochemical sensor including excellent selectivity, stability, reproducibility, and repeatability.
