Background: Liquid crystal monomers (LCMs) have been classified as emerging organic pollutants. Efficient isolation and extraction is a critical step in the determination, and then knowing the occurrence and distribution of LCMs in environmental waters. However, the reported sample preparation techniques still suffer some dilemmas such as using large amount of organic solvent, low extraction capacity, tedious operation procedure and employment of expensive extraction column. To circumvent the disadvantages, new extraction format and adsorbent with quickness, less consumption of organic solvent, superior extraction performance and low cost should be developed for the analysis of LCMs., Results: Using 1H,1H,2H,2H-heptadecafluorodecyl acrylate and 9-vinylanthracene as mixed functional monomers, a task specific magnetic adsorbent (TSMA) was prepared by one-pot hydrothermal technique for the highly efficient capture of LCMs under magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) format. Due to the abundant functional groups, the developed TSMA/MSPE presented satisfactory capture performance towards LCMs. Satisfactory enrichment factors (132-212) and high adsorption capacity (18 mg/g) were obtained. Additionally, the relevant adsorption mechanism was studied by the combination of density functional theory calculation and experiments about adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherm. Under the beneficial conditions, a sensitive and reliable method for the monitoring of studied LCMs in environmental waters was established by the combination of TSMA/MSPE with HPLC equipped with diode array detector (DAD). The achieved limits of detection and spiked recoveries were 0.0025-0.0061 μg/L and 81.0-112 %, respectively. Finally, the developed method was employed to monitor LCMs levels in the North Creek watershed of Jiulong River., Significance and Novelty: The current study provided a new adsorbent for quick and efficient capture of LCMs at trace levels. Alkaliptosis is a type of pH-dependent cell death and plays an emerging role in tumor suppression. However, the key modulation mechanism of alkaliptosis remains largely unknown. In particular, the nucleus, as the centre of genetic and metabolic regulation, is crucial for the regulation of cellular life. It is not known whether nuclear proteins are involved in the regulation of alkaliptosis. Here, we isolated nuclear proteins to perform a proteomics that identified itchy E3 ubiquitin protein ligase (ITCH) as a natural inhibitor of alkaliptosis in human pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cells. The downregulation of ITCH protein is associated with the induction of alkaliptosis in three human PDAC cell lines (SW1990, MiaPaCa2, and PANC1). Functionally, increasing ITCH expression reduces JTC801-induced growth inhibition and cell death. In contrast, knocking down ITCH using specific shRNA increases JTC801-induced cell growth inhibition in the short or long term, resulting in increased cell death. Mechanistically, JTC801-induced ITCH inhibition blocks large tumor suppressor kinase 1 (LATS1) ubiquitination, which in turn suppresses Yes1 associated transcriptional regulator (YAP1)-dependent the transcriptional activation of solute carrier family 16 member 1 (SLC16A1), a proton-linked monocarboxylate transporter that inhibits JTC801-induced alkaliptosis. Additionally, decreased expression of ITCH is associated with longer survival times in patients with PDAC. Extrachromosomal circular DNA (eccDNA) derived from linear chromosomes, are showed typical nucleosomal ladder pattern in agarose gel which as a known feature of apoptosis and demonstrated to be immunogenicity. In systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients, elevated levels of cell-free DNA (cfDNA) can be found in either linear forms or circular forms, while circular ones are much less common and harder to detect. The molecular characteristics and function of circular forms in plasma SLE patients remains elusive. Herein, we characterized the hallmarks of plasma eccDNA in SLE patients, including the lower normalized number and GC content of eccDNA in SLE plasma than in the healthy, and SLE eccDNA number positively correlated with C3 and negatively with anti-dsDNA antibodies. The differential eccGenes (eccDNAs carrying the protein coding gene sequence) of SLE was significantly enriched in apoptosis-related pathways. The artificially synthesized eccDNA with sequences of the PRF1 exon region could promote transcriptional expression of PRF1, IFNA and IFIT3 and inhibit early-stage apoptosis. Diabetic nephropathy (DN) remains the primary cause of end-stage renal disease (ESRD), warranting equal attention and separate analysis of glomerular, tubular, and interstitial lesions in its diagnosis and intervention. This study aims to identify the specific proteomics characteristics of DN, and assess changes in the biological processes associated with DN. 5 patients with DN and 5 healthy kidney transplant donor control individuals were selected for analysis. The proteomic characteristics of glomeruli, renal tubules, and renal interstitial tissue obtained through laser capture microscopy (LCM) were studied using high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). Significantly, the expression of multiple heat shock proteins (HSPs), tubulins, and heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs) in glomeruli and tubules was significantly reduced. Differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) in the glomerulus showed significant enrichment in pathways related to cell junctions and cell movement, including the regulation of actin cytoskeleton and tight junction. DEPs in renal tubules were significantly enriched in glucose metabolism-related pathways, such as glucose metabolism, glycolysis/gluconeogenesis, and the citric acid cycle. Moreover, the glycolysis/gluconeogenesis pathway was a co-enrichment pathway in both DN glomeruli and tubules. Notably, ACTB emerged as the most crucial protein in the protein-protein interaction (PPI) analysis of DEPs in both glomeruli and renal tubules. In this study, we delve into the unique proteomic characteristics of each sub-region of renal tissue. This enhances our understanding of the potential pathophysiological changes in DN, particularly the potential involvement of glycolysis metabolic disorder, glomerular cytoskeleton and cell junctions. Considering that cancer has become the second leading cause of death in humans, it is essential to develop an analytical approach that can sensitively detect tumor markers for early detection. We report an attenuated photoelectrochemical (PEC) immunoassay based on the organic-inorganic heterojunction 10MIL-88B(FeV)/ZnIn 2 S 4 (10M88B(FeV)/ZIS) as a photoactive material for monitoring carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). The 10M88B(FeV)/ZIS heterojunctions have excellent light-harvesting properties and high electrical conductivity, which are attributed to the advantages of both organic and inorganic semiconductors, namely, remarkable photogenerated carrier separation efficiency and long photogenerated carrier lifetime. Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) in the presence of H 2 O 2 can catalyze 3,3'-diaminofenamide (DAB) producing brown precipitates (oxDAB), which is then loaded onto the 10M88B(FeV)/ZIS heterojunction to reduce the photocurrent and enable the quantitative detection of CEA. Under optimal conditions, the photocurrent values of the PEC biosensor are linearly related to the logarithm of the CEA concentrations, ranging from 0.01 ng mL -1 to 100 ng mL -1 with a detection limit (LOD) of 4.0 pg mL -1 . Timely and rapid detection of antibiotic residues in the environment is conducive to safeguarding human health and promoting an ecological virtuous cycle. A foldable paper-based photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensor was successfully developed for the detection of ampicillin (AMP) based on glutathione/zirconium dioxide hollow nanorods/aptamer (GSH@ZrO 2 HS@apt) modified cellulose paper as a reactive zone with laser direct-writing lead sulfide/cadmium sulfide/graphene (PbS/CdS/LIG) as photoelectrode and cobalt hydroxide (CoOOH) as a photoresist material. Initially, AMP was introduced into the paper-based reaction zone as a biogate aptamer, which specifically recognized the target and then left the ZrO 2 HS surface, releasing glutathione (GSH) encapsulated inside. Subsequently, the introduction of GSH into the reaction region and etching of CoOOH nanosheets to expose the PbS/CdS/LIG photosensitive material increased photocurrent. Under optimal conditions, the paper-based PEC biosensor showed a linear response to AMP in the range of 5.0 - 2 × 10 4 pM with a detection limit of 1.36 pM (S/N = 3). A colorimetric immunoassay was built for determination of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) based on papain-based colorimetric catalytic sensing system through the use of glucose oxidase (GOx). In the presence of GOx, glucose was catalytically oxidized to produce H 2 O 2 . Through the assistance of papain (as a peroxide mimetic enzyme), the signal came from the oxidative color development of 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB, from colorless to blue) catalyzed by the generated H 2 O 2 . Herein, a sandwich-type immunoassay was built based on GOx as labels. As the concentration of CEA increased, more GOx-labeled antibodies specifically associate with target, which leaded to more H 2 O 2 generation. Immediately following this, more TMB were oxidized with the addition of papain. Accordingly, the absorbance increased further. As a result, the concentration of CEA is positively correlated with the change in absorbance of the solution. Under optimal conditions, the CEA concentration was linear in the range of 0.05-20.0 ng/mL, and the limit of detection (LOD) reached 37 pg/mL. In this work, a bio-based material (CGP) is obtained by combing chitosan, gelatin and polyvinyl alcohol through a simple solution mixing to simultaneously address polylactic acid film (PLA)' flammability and poor barrier, toughness and antibacterial properties by soaking. The results of open fire testing show that modified PLA films can effectively prolong the combustion time, improve the thermal stability and reduce the release of heat in the cone calorimeter test. For the PLA sample after soaking for 5 times (PLA-5) in particular, it can reduce the peak heat release rate (pHRR) and total heat release (THR) values to 85.8 kW/m 2 and 1.3 MJ/m 2 from the values of 129.5 kW/m 2 and 1.8 MJ/m 2 for PLA, respectively. Structural analysis suggests that CGP primarily operates in the condensed phase by forming physical barriers. Meanwhile, the modified PLA films can exhibit superior barrier effects, which indicate the oxygen transmission rate value of PLA-5 decreases to 0.9 cm 3 /(m 2 ·day) from the 392.5 cm 3 /(m 2 ·day) of raw PLA film. Background and Objective: The metabolic syndrome induced by obesity is closely associated with cardiovascular disease, and the prevalence is increasing globally, year by year. Obesity is a risk marker for detecting this disease. However, current research on computer-aided detection of adipose distribution is hampered by the lack of open-source large abdominal adipose datasets., Methods: In this study, a benchmark Abdominal Adipose Tissue CT Image Dataset (AATCT-IDS) containing 300 subjects is prepared and published. AATCT-IDS publics 13,732 raw CT slices, and the researchers individually annotate the subcutaneous and visceral adipose tissue regions of 3213 of those slices that have the same slice distance to validate denoising methods, train semantic segmentation models, and study radiomics. For different tasks, this paper compares and analyzes the performance of various methods on AATCT-IDS by combining the visualization results and evaluation data. Thus, verify the research potential of this data set in the above three types of tasks., Results: In the comparative study of image denoising, algorithms using a smoothing strategy suppress mixed noise at the expense of image details and obtain better evaluation data. Methods such as BM3D preserve the original image structure better, although the evaluation data are slightly lower. The results show significant differences among them. In the comparative study of semantic segmentation of abdominal adipose tissue, the segmentation results of adipose tissue by each model show different structural characteristics. Among them, BiSeNet obtains segmentation results only slightly inferior to U-Net with the shortest training time and effectively separates small and isolated adipose tissue. In addition, the radiomics study based on AATCT-IDS reveals three adipose distributions in the subject population., Conclusion: AATCT-IDS contains the ground truth of adipose tissue regions in abdominal CT slices. Coastal heavy-metal contamination poses significant risks to marine ecosystems and human health, necessitating comprehensive research for effective mitigation strategies. This study assessed heavy-metal pollution in sediments, seawater, and organisms in the Pearl River Estuary (PRE), with a focus on Cd, Cu, Pb, Zn, As, Hg, and Cr. A notable reduction in heavy metal concentrations in surface sediments was observed in 2020 compared to 2017 and 2018, likely due to improved pollution management and COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. Spatial analysis revealed a positive correlation between elevated heavy-metal concentrations (Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, and As) and areas with significant human activity. Source analysis indicated that anthropogenic activities accounted for 63 % of the heavy metals in sediments, originating from industrial effluents, metal processing, vehicular activities, and fossil fuel combustion. Cd presented a high ecological risk due to its significant enrichment in surface sediments. Organisms in the PRE were found to be relatively enriched with Hg and Cu, with average As concentrations slightly exceeding the Chinese food-health criterion. This study identified high-risk ecological zones and highlighted Cd as the primary pollutant in the PRE. Herein, we developed a platinum-copper nano-enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (NLISA) based split diagnostic platform for the ultrasensitive detection of cardiac troponin I (cTnI). The PtCu nanozyme synthesized by one-pot synthesis exhibited ultra-high peroxidase-like activity (35.17 U mg -1 ), which was about 4.5 times higher than that of the unmodified Pt nanozyme (8.83 U mg -1 ). Due to the efficient peroxidase-like activity of the copper-platinum complexed nanozyme, transduction and sequential amplification of cTnI biological signals were achieved in combination with a liposome-embedded amplification strategy. The encapsulation efficiency was calculated by introducing a liposomal bilayer model, which showed that the introduction of a single liposomal molecule could amplify the signal up to 870-fold, thus promising a high sensitivity test. Notably, the dynamic response of cTnI was in the range of 0.1-5000 pg mL -1 with an ultra-low detection limit (0.048 pg mL -1 ). Background: Measurement of endogenous cellular hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) can provide information on cellular status, and help to understand cellular metabolism and signaling processes, thus contributing to elucidation of disease mechanisms and new diagnostics/therapeutic approaches., Results: In this work, Pt-Cd bimetallic nanozyme was successfully prepared via the solvothermal synthetic method for sensitive detection of H 2 O 2 . The synthesized Pt-Cd bimetallic nanozyme could exhibited good electrochemical activity. Then, the materials were analyzed for the electrochemical properties and catalytic properties of H 2 O 2 by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry, respectively. Results indicated that the synthesized nanozyme had superior sensitivity (295 μA⸳mM -1 ⸳cm -2 ) and selectivity toward H 2 O 2 with a detection limit of 0.21 μM. Further, the Pt-Cd bimetallic nanozyme displayed good electrochemical properties compared to platinum catalysts alone. The development of rapid screening sensing platforms to improve pre-screening mechanisms in community healthcare is necessary to meet the significant need for portable testing in biomarker diagnostics. Here, we designed a portable smartphone-based photoelectrochemical (PEC) immunoassay for carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) detection using Cu-doped ultrathin porous Bi 2 WO 6 (CuBWO) nanosheets as the photoactive material. The CuBWO nanosheets exhibit a fast photocurrent response and excellent electrical transmission rate under UV light due to their surface plasmon resonance effect (SPR). The method uses glucose oxidase-labeled secondary antibody as a signal indicator for sandwich-type immune conjugation. In the presence of the target CEA, the electrons and holes generated at the surface of the photo-excited ultrathin porous CuBWO were rapidly consumed by the production of H 2 O 2 from glucose oxidase oxidizing glucose, resulting in a weakened photocurrent signal. The photocurrent intensity increased logarithmically and linearly with increasing CEA concentration (0.02-50 ng mL -1 ), with a detection limit of 15.0 pg mL -1 (S/N = 3). This study aimed to explore the associations between air pollution and male sexual function. A total of 5047 male subjects in China were included in this study. The average air pollution exposure (PM 2.5 , PM 10 , SO 2 , CO, NO 2 , and O 3 ) for the preceding 1, 3, 6, and 12 months before the participants' response was assessed. Male sexual function was evaluated using the International Index of Erectile Function-5 (IIEF-5) and the Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool (PEDT). Generalized linear models were utilized to explore the associations between air pollution and male sexual function. K-prototype algorithm was conducted to identify the association among specific populations. Significant adverse effects on the IIEF-5 score were observed with NO 2 exposure during the preceding 1, 3, and 6 months (1 m: β = -5.26E-05; 3 m: β = -4.83E-05; 6 m: β = -4.23E-05, P < 0.05). PM 2.5 exposure during the preceding 12 months was found to significantly negatively affect the PEDT after adjusting for confounding variables. Our research indicated negative correlations between air pollutant exposures and male sexual function for the first time. Small peptides are nutrients and bioactive molecules that have dual regulatory effects on nutrition and physiology. They are of great significance for maintaining the intestinal health and production performance of broilers. We here cultured the primary small intestinal epithelial cells (IEC) of chicken in a medium containing L-Leu (Leu) and L-Leu-L-Leu (Leu-Leu) for 24 h. The untreated cells were considered as the control group. The growth, proliferation, and apoptosis of IEC were examined. By combining RNA-seq and label-free sequencing technology, candidate genes, proteins, and pathways related to the growth, proliferation, and apoptosis of IEC were screened. Immunofluorescence detection revealed that the purity of the isolated primary IEC was >90%. The Leu-Leu group significantly promoted IEC growth and proliferation and significantly inhibited IEC apoptosis, and the effect was better than those of the Leu and control groups. Using transcriptome sequencing, four candidate genes, CCL20, IL8L1, IL8, and IL6, were screened in the Leu group, and one candidate gene, IL8, was screened in the Leu-Leu group. Two candidate genes, IL6 and RGN, were screened in the Leu-Leu group compared with the Leu group. Nonquantitative proteomic marker sequencing results revealed that through the screening of candidate proteins and pathways, found one growth-related candidate protein PGM3 and three proliferation-related candidate proteins RPS17, RPS11, and RPL23, and two apoptosis-related candidate proteins GPX4 and PDPK1 were found in the Leu-Leu group compared with Leu group. In short, Leu-Leu could promote IEC growth and proliferation and inhibit IEC apoptosis. On combining transcriptome and proteome sequencing technologies, multiple immune- and energy-related regulatory signal pathways were found to be related to IEC growth, proliferation, and apoptosis. Three candidate genes of IL8, IL6, and RGN were identified, and six candidate proteins of PGM3, RPS17, RPS11, RPL23, GPX4, and PDPK1 were involved in IEC growth, proliferation, and apoptosis. Lignin is continuously investigated by various techniques for valorization due to its high content of oxygen-containing functional groups. Catalytic systems employing hydrolysis‑hydrogenolysis, leveraging the synergistic effect of redox metal sites and acid sites, exhibit efficient degradation of lignin. The predominance of either hydrolysis or hydrogenolysis reactions hinges upon the relative activity of acid and metal sites, as well as the intensity of the reductive atmosphere. In this study, the Pd-MoO x /TiO 2 catalyst was found to primarily catalyze hydrolysis in the lignin depolymerization process, attributed to the abundance of moderate acidic sites on Pd and the redox-assisted catalysis of MoO x under inert conditions. After subjecting the reaction to 240 °C for 30 h, a yield of 48.22 wt% of total phenolic monomers, with 5.90 wt% consisting of diphenols, was achieved. Investigation into the conversion of 4-propylguaiacol (4-PG), a major depolymerized monomer of corncob lignin, revealed the production of ketone intermediates, a phenomenon closely linked to the unique properties of MoO x . Dehydrogenation of the propyl is a key step in initiating the reaction, and 4-PG could be almost completely transformed, accompanied by an over 97 % of 4-propylcatechol selectivity. Background: Endoscopic visualization of gallbladder lesions by the traditional peroral cholangioscopy (POCS) during the endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography process is challenging. In the present study, we evaluated the feasibility of a newly designed POCS with an ultrafine outer diameter that facilitates gallbladder visualization., Methods: The novel POCS was designed and manufactured with an outer diameter of 7 French and achieved extremely high performance. The feasibility of this novel POCS for gallbladder observation was assessed in our center between April 2022 and January 2023. The primary outcome was technical success., Results: A total of 16 patients (64.6 ± 18.1 years, 9 males) who underwent novel ultrafine POCS inspection for gallbladder visualization were included. Technical success was achieved in 14 of 16 cases (87.5%); the main reasons for the two unsuccessful inspections were the presence of cystic duct strictures. A total of 1 adverse event occurred, for an overall rate of 6.3%, and there were no serious adverse events during the follow-up., Conclusions: The results suggest that endoscopic visualization of the gallbladder using the novel ultrafine POCS is feasible. Background and Objective: Intracerebral hemorrhage is one of the diseases with the highest mortality and poorest prognosis worldwide. Spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (SICH) typically presents acutely, prompt and expedited radiological examination is crucial for diagnosis, localization, and quantification of the hemorrhage. Early detection and accurate segmentation of perihematomal edema (PHE) play a critical role in guiding appropriate clinical intervention and enhancing patient prognosis. However, the progress and assessment of computer-aided diagnostic methods for PHE segmentation and detection face challenges due to the scarcity of publicly accessible brain CT image datasets., Methods: This study establishes a publicly available CT dataset named PHE-SICH-CT-IDS for perihematomal edema in spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage. The dataset comprises 120 brain CT scans and 7,022 CT images, along with corresponding medical information of the patients. To demonstrate its effectiveness, classical algorithms for semantic segmentation, object detection, and radiomic feature extraction are evaluated. The experimental results confirm the suitability of PHE-SICH-CT-IDS for assessing the performance of segmentation, detection and radiomic feature extraction methods., Results: This study conducts numerous experiments using classical machine learning and deep learning methods, demonstrating the differences in various segmentation and detection methods on the PHE-SICH-CT-IDS. The highest precision achieved in semantic segmentation is 76.31%, while object detection attains a maximum precision of 97.62%. Early detection of cancer has a profound impact on patient survival and treatment outcomes considering high treatment success rates and reduced treatment complexity. Here, we developed a portable photoelectrochemical (PEC) immune platform for sensitive testing of alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) based on Pt nanocluster (Pt NCs) loaded defective-state g-C 3 N 4 photon-electron transducers. The broad forbidden band structure of g-C 3 N 4 was optimized by the nitrogen doping strategy and additional homogeneous porous structure was introduced to further enhance the photon utilization. In addition, the in-situ growth of Pt NCs provided efficient electron transfer catalytic sites for sacrificial agents, which were used to further improve the sensitivity of the sensor. Efficient photoelectric conversion under a hand-held flashlight was determined by the geometry of the transducer and the energy band design, and the portable design of the PEC sensor was realized. The developed sensing platform exhibited a wide linear response range (0.1-50 ng mL -1 ) and low limit of detection (0.043 ng mL -1 ) for AFP under optimum conditions. This research examined the impact of incorporating Angelica sinensis's aerial components (APA), commonly referred to as "female ginseng", into broilers' diet. Two hundred eighty-eight 1-day-old Cobb 500 broilers were randomly assigned to the 4 experimental groups with 6 replications and 12 birds/replicate. The 4 groups were fed the diets included 4 concentrations of APA (0, 1, 2, and 3%, respectively). The study spanned 42 d, categorized as the starter phase (1-21 d) and the finisher phase (22-42 d). Notably, broilers fed with 3% APA demonstrated a pronounced surge in feed consumption and weight gain during the 22 to 42 d and over the full 42-d period (P < 0.05). Furthermore, when examining the broilers' intestinal structure, there was a notable increase in the villus height and villi ratio across the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum, with a decrease in crypt depth upon 3% APA inclusion (P < 0.05). On a molecular note, certain genes connected to the intestinal mechanical barrier, such as Zona Occludens 1 and Claudin-2, saw significant elevation in the jejunum (P < 0.05). The jejunum also displayed heightened levels of antimicrobial peptides like lysozyme, mucin 2, sIgA, IgG, and IgM, showcasing an enhanced chemical and immune barrier (P < 0.05). Delving into the 16SrDNA sequencing of intestinal content, a higher microbial diversity was evident with a surge in beneficial bacteria, particularly Firmicutes, advocating a resilient and balanced microecosystem. Lung cancer is a major malignant cancer with low survival rates, and early diagnosis is crucial for effective treatment. Herein, a biosensing platform that is self-powered derived from a capacitor-coupled EBFC has been developed for ultra-sensitive real-time identification of microRNA-21 (miRNA-21) with the assistance of a mobile phone. The flexible substrate of the platform is prepared on a carbon paper modified with graphdiyne and gold nanoparticles. The biosensor employs DNAzyme-mediated dual strand displacement amplification, which enhances the signal output intensity of the EBFC and improves selectivity. The coupling of the capacitor with the EBFC significantly amplifies the sensing signal, causing a 10.6-fold surge in current respond and further improving the sensitivity of the sensing platform. The established detection approach demonstrates a linear relationship varied from 0.0001 to 10,000 pM, with a sensitivity down to 32.3 aM as the minimum detectable limit, which has been effectively utilized for detecting miRNA-21 in practical samples. Pancreatic cancer is the most fatal malignancy worldwide. Once diagnosed, most patients are already at an advanced stage because of their highly heterogeneous, drug-resistant, and metastatic nature and the lack of effective diagnostic markers. Recently, the study of proliferation, metastasis, and drug resistance mechanisms in pancreatic cancer and the search for useful diagnostic markers have posed significant challenges to the scientific community. Exosomes carry various biomolecules (DNA, non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), proteins, and lipids) that mediate communication between tumors and other cells. ncRNAs can be transported through exosomes to numerous relevant receptor cells and regulate local epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in tumor tissue, proliferation, drug resistance, and the establishment of pre-metastatic ecological niches in distant organs. Background: Endometrial cancer is one of the most common tumors in the female reproductive system and is the third most common gynecological malignancy that causes death after ovarian and cervical cancer. Early diagnosis can significantly improve the 5-year survival rate of patients. With the development of artificial intelligence, computer-assisted diagnosis plays an increasingly important role in improving the accuracy and objectivity of diagnosis and reducing the workload of doctors. However, the absence of publicly available image datasets restricts the application of computer-assisted diagnostic techniques., Methods: In this paper, a publicly available Endometrial Cancer PET/CT Image Dataset for Evaluation of Semantic Segmentation and Detection of Hypermetabolic Regions (ECPC-IDS) are published. Specifically, the segmentation section includes PET and CT images, with 7159 images in multiple formats totally. In order to prove the effectiveness of segmentation on ECPC-IDS, six deep learning semantic segmentation methods are selected to test the image segmentation task. The object detection section also includes PET and CT images, with 3579 images and XML files with annotation information totally. Eight deep learning methods are selected for experiments on the detection task., Results: This study is conduct using deep learning-based semantic segmentation and object detection methods to demonstrate the distinguishability on ECPC-IDS. From a separate perspective, the minimum and maximum values of Dice on PET images are 0.546 and 0.743, respectively. The minimum and maximum values of Dice on CT images are 0.012 and 0.510, respectively. Flameproof modification of paper can improve safety and application performance. However, traditional paper is prone to moisture absorption, resulting in significant reduction in flame retardant performance, even complete failure, greatly limiting the application environment. In order to achieve long-term flame retardant properties of paper, while avoiding the loss of physical properties caused by the introduction of flame retardants, in this work, a plant acid/phosphate and melamine formaldehyde coating (PyA/PA-MF) is prepared through electrostatic self-assembly for durable flame retardant performance of cellulose paper. Due to the electrostatic interaction, the paper surface become greatly rough with introduction of PyA/PA-MF, a uniform microsphere structure is formed on the surface of the paper cellulose, which effectively fix the phosphorus-containing groups. The oxygen index reaches 33 % and the carbon length was only 6.3 ± 0.2 cm, the pHRR and THR are decreased by 80 % and 73 %, respectively. After being immersed for 72 h, the oxygen index is still 31.4 % and carbon length is no more than 12 cm. mechanical property of modified paper is significant increased in the tensile strength (2.4 MPa) compared to the blank paper (1 MPa), as well as that the whiteness of the surface of the modified paper will not change. Background: Sepsis is a common disease in the intensive care unit (ICU). In recent years, the incidence rate and mortality rate remain high. Early diagnosis of sepsis is crucial for treatment and can effectively reduce mortality. So far, the ability of serum peptidylarginine deaminase 2 (PAD2) in the diagnosis and prognosis of sepsis patients is still unclear. We conducted this study to reveal the clinical value of PAD2 as a biomarker for sepsis patients., Methods: A prospective study method was used to select 207 patients in the ICU of Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University from May 2022 to May 2023. They were divided into the sepsis group (n = 135) and control group (n = 72), and data were collected within 24 h of hospitalization. Sepsis patients were divided into a survival group (n = 80) and a non-survival group (n = 55) based on their 28-day survival status. Using statistical methods to evaluate the diagnostic and prognostic value of PAD2 in sepsis., Results: The serum PAD2 concentrations in the sepsis group were significantly higher than in the control group (median 16.70 vs 35.32 ng/ml, P < 0.001). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the Quick Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (qSOFA), C-reactive protein (CRP), procalcitonin (PCT), and PAD2 were independent risk factors for sepsis. The Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve showed that the combined diagnostic value of qSOFA, CRP, PCT, and PAD2 was the highest. The serum PAD2 concentrations in the non-survival group of patients with sepsis were significantly higher than those in the survival group (median 29.26 vs 50.08 ng/ml, P < 0.05). The COX regression analysis showed that PAD2, sequential organ failure score Assessment (SOFA) score, and Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation (APACHE II) score were independent factors affecting the prognosis of sepsis patients. The ROC analysis showed that the combined prognostic value of PAD2, SOFA, and APACHE II scores was significantly higher than any single indicator. The Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that patients with PAD2 ≤ 48.62 ng/ml had a better prognosis., Conclusion: The significant increase in serum PAD2 concentrations in patients is an independent risk factor affecting the occurrence of sepsis and 28-day mortality. Objective: To identify subclinical left ventricle dysfunction (LVD) in obese rats by speckle-tracking echocardiography, and to evaluate the effects of 12-week Moderate-Intensity Continuous Training (MICT) or High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) on LV geometry, histology and function in obese rats., Methods: Eighteen male standard or obese Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into the Control group, the MICT group, and the HIIT group. Exercise interventions were conducted for 12 weeks, with equal total load and increased intensity gradient. Using dual-energy X-ray, two-dimensional speckle-tracking echocardiography, pulse Doppler, and HE staining to evalucate body shape, LV morphology, structure, and myocardial mechanics function., Results: (1) Both MICT and HIIT have good weight loss shaping effect. (2) The LV of obese rats underwent pathological remodeling, with decreased longitudinal contractility and synchrony, and increased circumferential contractility and synchrony. (3) Exercise can inhibit LV pathological remodeling, improve myocardial mechanical function. HIIT is superior to MICT. (4) The global longitudinal strain of obese rats in the HIIT group showed a significant correlation with Fat% and Lean%., Conclusion: Obesity can induce LV pathological remodeling and subclinical dysfunction. To establish an in vitro biological activity detection method for luteinizing hormone (LH), the hLHCGR-CREB-HEK293 cell line was constructed to stably express human luteinizing hormone/chorionic gonadotropin receptor (hLHCGR). After optimization, the rhLH starting working concentration was 800 mIU/mL with 4-fold serial dilutions, 10 concentrations and an incubation time of 5 h. The method was confirmed to be highly specific, with good accuracy, precision and linearity, meeting the needs of process research and release testing, and can be used as a routine detection method for LH biological activity. Inter-day temperature variability has been reported to be associated with sperm quality in a city-level exposure assessment study. However, studies exploring the impact of temperature variability within a single day on sperm quality at individual level are still lacking. The present study aims to bridge this research gap by analyzing the linear and non-linear associations between diurnal temperature range (DTR) exposure and sperm quality, utilizing data from the Anhui Prospective Assisted Reproduction Cohort. The study included 15,112 males (totaling 28,267 tests) and assessed individual exposure to various environmental factors (residential greenness, ambient particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, relative humidity, ambient temperature, and DTR) during the 0-90 day period before semen analysis. A combination of a linear mixed model, natural cubic splines, and subgroup analysis was employed. Significant "U"-shaped non-linear associations were observed between DTR exposure and total motility, sperm concentration, sperm count, total motile sperm count, and progressive motile sperm count. Lower DTR levels negatively impacted these parameters, whereas higher DTR levels showed a positive effect. Notably, these associations were more pronounced at ambient temperatures below 16.5 °C, while absent in warmer conditions. Sperm quality demonstrates increased sensitivity to DTR exposure in cooler environments. The aging of microplastics (MPs) in soils may affect crop bioaccumulation of coexisting contaminants. We examined the bioaccumulation of pesticides (chlorpyrifos (CPF), difenoconazole (DIF) and their mixture) in radish (Raphanus sativus) planted in soils contaminated with MPs (low-density polyethylene or biodegradable MPs). The experiment was conducted with different contamination scenarios taking into account the use of aged MPs and pesticide mixtures. Radish root biomass was negatively affected in the scenarios with aged MPs. CPF bioaccumulation in radishes appears to be enhanced by the presence of MPs, especially aged MPs, and the pesticide mixture. This work designed a liposome-mediated photocurrent polarity switching immunosensor depending on the reversed photocurrent of iodine-doped BiOCl (I-BOC) nanoflowers induced by the released methylene blue (MB) for the detection of prostate-specific antigen (PSA). Initially, MB-loaded liposomes as indicators were confined within the microplates to participate in the sandwiched immunoreaction and lysed under the treatment of Triton X-100 to release numerous MB. Owing to the host-guest recognition between β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) and MB, the released MB was immobilized on the β-CD-modified I-BOC/FTO electrode and triggered the photocurrent polarity reversal from cathodic photocurrent to anodic photocurrent. The sensing platform realized an accurate and sensitive assay of PSA due to the effective elimination of false-positive/negative signals in a linear range of 0.02-50 ng mL -1 with a limit of detection of 12 pg mL -1 . In this paper, a facile hydrothermal pretreatment and molten salt activation route was presented for preparing a self-doped porous biochar (HMBC) from a nitrogenous biomass precursor of water hyacinth. With an ultrahigh specific surface area (2240 m 2  g -1 ), well-developed hierarchical porous structure, created internal structural defects and doped surface functionalities, HMBC exhibited an excellent adsorption performance and catalytic activity for phenol removal via peroxydisulfate (PDS) activation. Specifically, the porous structure promoted the adsorption of PDS on HMBC, forming a highly active HMBC/PDS* complex and thereby increasing the oxidation potential of the system. Meanwhile, the carbon defective structure, graphitic N and CO groups enhanced the electron transfer process, favoring the HMBC/PDS system to catalyze phenol oxidation via an electron transfer dominated pathway. Thus, the system degraded phenol effectively with an ultralow activation energy of 4.9 kJ mol -1 and a remarkable oxidant utilization efficiency of 8.2 mol mol-oxidant -1  h -1  g -1 . More importantly, the system exhibited excellent resistance to water quality and good adaptability for decontaminating different organic pollutants with satisfactory mineralization efficiency. Inflammation plays a key role in the progression of choroidal neovascularization (CNV). Regular intravitreal injection of anti-VEGF medication is required for many patients to sustain eye condition as CNV always recurs due to persistent chronic inflammation in the retina and choroid. Marine bromophenols (BDB) have been widely studied due to their diverse bioactivities, including anti-inflammatory effect, though the mechanism of which remained unclear. Our study demonstrated that BDB could restricted endothelial cells' function and suppressed choroidal explants both in vitro and in vivo without out affecting the cells viability. BDB also significantly reduced numerous inflammatory cytokines in both raw cells and choroidal tissue, including IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, IL-4 and MMP-9. Moreover, we demonstrated that BDB down regulated phosphorylation of NF-κB p65 in the raw cells. By Co-IP assay, HUWE1 was found to be bound with BDB and the binding location was at sequences position 4214. When overexpressed HUWE1 in HUVECs, the suppression of endothelial cells' function by BDB became more significant. Background: There is a lack of established clinical outcomes for patients with myelofibrosis (MF) receiving fedratinib following ruxolitinib failure. This study examined real-world patient characteristics, treatment patterns, and clinical outcomes of patients with MF treated with fedratinib following ruxolitinib failure in US clinical practice., Patients and Methods: This retrospective patient chart review included adults with a physician-reported diagnosis of MF, who initiated fedratinib after discontinuing ruxolitinib. Descriptive analyses characterized patient characteristics, clinical outcomes, and treatment patterns from MF diagnosis through ruxolitinib and fedratinib treatment., Results: Twenty-four physicians abstracted data for 150 eligible patients. Approximately 55.3% of the patients were male, 68.0% were White, and median age at MF diagnosis was 68 (range, 35-84) years. Median duration of ruxolitinib therapy was 7.6 (range, 0.7-65.5) months. At initiation of fedratinib, 88.0% of patients had palpable spleen and a mean spleen size of 16.0 (standard deviation [SD], 5.9) cm. Spleen size decreased by 19.4% to 13.2 (SD, 7.9) cm at month 3 (P = .0001) and by 53.4% to 7.2 (SD, 7.4) cm at month 6 (P = .01) of fedratinib treatment, respectively. Almost one-third (26.8%) of patients had achieved ≥ 50% spleen reduction by month 6. Nitrate has been used for nearly 80 years as a chemical to control problematic gases in the sewer system. However, few studies have explored simultaneous control in biofilm and sediment using different strategies. Here, we introduced a nitrate dosing method involving an initial high shock followed by low level dosing, tested at two distinct frequencies in a lab-scale sewer reactor <110 days. Long-term investigation revealed that the more frequent 20 min interval dosing slightly surpassed the 1 h interval method when applying the same hourly dose of 30 mg N/L (sulfide control: 98.3 ± 1.7 % vs 97.9 ± 1.5 %; methane control: 89.8 ± 4.5 % vs 83.4 ± 6.7 %). 16 s rRNA gene amplicon sequencing revealed biofilm detachment and sediment stratification, which can be attributed to the differing effects of nitrate dosing on biofilm and sedimentary microbial interactions. Dominant bacteria such as Thauera and Thiobacillus performed autotrophic denitrification and nitrate-reducing sulfide-oxidation in conjunction with methane oxidizers. These microbes collaboratively control sulfide and methane emissions from sediment. Development of high-precision human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) assay is essential for the early diagnostic and prevention of breast cancer. In this work, an innovative Fe/Mn bimetallic nanozyme at the edge of N-doped carbon defects (FeMn-NC edge ) with abundant active sites was prepared through the hydrothermal synthetic method. FeMn-NC edge nanozyme displayed excellent peroxidase-like activity relative to the H 2 O 2 -catalyzed 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) system for generation of the oxidized TMB (oxTMB). As a proof-of-concept application, we constructed an electrochemical immunoassay for the detection of HER2 based on the unique merits of FeMn-NC edge . Initially, a sandwiched immunoreaction was carried out in the microtiter plate coated with monoclonal anti-HER2 capture antibodies using glucose oxidase (GOx)-labeled anti-HER2 as detection antibody. The carried GOx could catalyze glucose to produce H 2 O 2 , thus resulting in the formation of oxTMB with the assistance of TMB and FeMn-NC edge nanozyme. The produced oxTMB could be determined on the electrode by the chronoamperometry at an applied potential of +10 mV. Experimental results revealed that the steady-state current increased with the increasing HER2 concentration in the sample, and gave a good linear relationship within the dynamic range of 0.01-10 ng/mL at a limit of detection of 5.4 pg/mL HER2. In addition, good reproducibility, high specificity and acceptable accuracy were acquired for the measurement of human serum samples. Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the early morphology and function of the left heart in hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) after transapical beating-heart septal myectomy (TA-BSM) using cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR)., Materials and Methods: Between April 2022 and January 2023, HOCM patients who underwent CMR before and 3 months after TA-BSM were prospectively and consecutively enrolled in the study. Preoperative and postoperative cardiac morphological and functional parameters, including those for the left atrium (LA) and left ventricle (LV), were compared. The left ventricular remodeling index (LVRI) was defined as the ratio between left ventricular mass (LVM) and left ventricular end-diastolic volume (LVEDV). Healthy participants with a similar age and sex distribution were enrolled for comparison. Pearson or Spearman correlation analysis was used to investigate the relationships between the parameters and LVRI. Last, univariate and multivariate linear regression identified variables associated with the LVM index (LVMI) and LVRI., Results: Forty-one patients (mean age ± standard deviation, 46 ± 2 years; 27 males) and 41 healthy control participants were evaluated. Eighteen (44%) HOCM patients were classified as having a sigmoid septum, and 23 patients had a reverse septal curvature. LA volume, diameter and function were significantly improved postoperatively, but still worse than healthy controls (all p < 0.001). Compared to before the operation, left ventricular wall thickness, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), LVMI, and LVRI decreased after TA-BSM (all p < 0.001). The left ventricular end-diastolic volume index (LVEDVI) and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD) decreased in patients with a sigmoid septum. However, LVEDVI and LVEDD increased in those with a reverse septal curvature (both p < 0.001). In addition, both preoperative and postoperative LVRI was positively correlated with LVMI (r = 0.734 and 0.853, both p < 0.001) and maximum wall thickness (r = 0.679 and 0.676, both p < 0.001), respectively. In the multivariable analysis, the weight of the resected myocardium (adjusted β = 0.476, p = 0.005) and △mitral regurgitation degree (adjusted β = - 0.245, p = 0.040) were associated with △LVRI. Last, the △LVOTG (adjusted β = 0.436, p = 0.018) and baseline LVMI (adjusted β = 0.323, p = 0.040) were independently associated with greater left ventricular mass regression after TA-BSM., Conclusion: CMR confirmed early reverse remodeling of left heart morphology and function in HOCM patients following TA-BSM., (© 2023. Signal regulatory protein-alpha (SIRPα) and IL-6 participate in the induction of tumor immune suppressive environment and facilitate tumor growth. In this study, we found that SIRPα was significantly elevated in macrophages of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tissues, which was positively correlated to the expression of CD163, PD-1, IL-6, and lung cancer progression. SIRPα in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of NSCLC patients was also associated with CD163, PD-1, and plasma IL-6. Blockade of SIRPα signaling in SIRPα ± and SIRPα -/- mice attenuated lung cancer growth and reduced IL-6 expression in LLC cells-transplanted murine lung cancer model. Co-targeting SIRPα and IL-6 additively suppressed the expression of IL-6 and activation of STAT3, accompanied with a reduced population of pro-tumorigenic CD206 + M2 subtype of macrophages, PD-1 + tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs), and PD-1 + CD8 + T cells in tumor tissues of anti-IL-6 antibody (aIL-6)-treated mice deficient in SIRPα. Further in vitro studies showed that blockade of SIRPα signaling by anti-SIRPα effectively improved phagocytosis of human PBMCs. IL-6 treatment improved polarization of M2 subtypes and the expression of PD-1 in bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs); whereas both aIL-6 and STAT3 inhibitor C188-9 suppressed the expression of PD-1 and SIRPα in BMDMs. M2 cell-biased polarization was also reduced in aIL-6 or C188-9 treated BMDMs. Thereby, SIRPα and IL-6 form a positive feedback loop and regulate each other through STAT3 signaling in macrophages. Background: Oncological analysis is important in tumor diagnosis. We constructed a dual-fluorescence and binary visual analysis system for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) using the folate receptor as a biomarker, combined with hybridization chain reaction and nanomaterial amplification. This strategy integrates terminal protection, selective recognition properties of N-methyl mesoporphyrin IX and CdTe quantum dots for Cu 2+ and double-stranded templated copper nanoparticles, and inkjet printing technology., Results: In fluorescence mode, folate receptor and A2780 ovarian cancer cells were specifically detected with a limit of detection of 0.1 fg mL -1 , and 10 cells mL -1 were observed. The detection limits of both the color and distance reading modes were comparable to those obtained in fluorescence mode. Myocardial ischemia (MI), a condition in which the heart is unable to function due to insufficient blood and oxygen supply, is a major cause of death from coronary heart disease (CHD). Yiqi Tongluo capsule (YTC) is a Chinese patent drug which commonly used for treatment of MI in clinic. However, the related active components of YTC for treatment of MI were still uncovered. This paper is aimed to study the quality markers (Q-markers) of YTC and further optimize the extraction process of YTC based on Q-markers, providing research foundation for the further modern pharmaceutical preparations of YTC. We firstly used UPLC-QTOF-MS to analyze the constituents of YTC absorbed in blood, then isoprenaline (ISO) induced H9c2 cell model was used further screen the active constituents with protective effects on cardiomyocytes. After that, the orthogonal table (L9 (3 4 )) was used to optimize the extraction process with three levels of 4 factors (water addition, immersion time, extraction time and decoction times). Finally, the HPLC fingerprint of 15 batches of optimized YTC was established. In our present study, a total of 33 components were identified in YTC, of which 10 components were absorbed in blood. Among the 10 components, 8 compounds had significant protective effects on ISO stimulated H9c2 cells, including Paeoniflorin, Ferulic acid, Calycosin, Senkyunolide A, N-butylphthalide, Z-ligustilide, LevistilideA, and Astragaloside IV, which were considered as the Q-markers of YTC. The optimized extraction process based on Q-marker as follows: soaking 1 h, then adding 8 times water to extract 3 times by decoction, each extraction lasts 1.5 h. Background: Aortic dissection and atherosclerosis are two common pathological conditions affecting the aorta. Aortic biomechanics are believed to be closely associated with the pathological development of these diseases. However, the biomechanical environment that predisposes the aortic wall to these pathological conditions remains unclear., Methods: Sixteen ascending aortic specimens were harvested from 16 human subjects and further categorized into three groups according to their disease states: aortic dissection group, aortic dissection with accompanied atherosclerosis group and healthy group. Experimental stress-strain data from biaxial tensile testing were used to fit the anisotropic Mooney-Rivlin model to determine material parameters. Computed tomography images or transesophageal echocardiography images were collected to construct computational models to simulate the stress/strain distributions in aortas at the pre-dissection state. Statistical analyses were performed to identify the biomechanical factors to distinguish three groups of aortic tissues., Results: Material parameters of anisotropic Mooney-Rivlin model were fitted with average R 2 value 0.9749. The aortic diameter showed no significant difference among three groups. Changes of maximum and average stress values from minimum pressure to maximum pressure (△MaxStress and △AveStress) had significantly difference between dissection group and dissection with accompanied atherosclerosis group (p = 0.0201 and 0.0102). The ethanol extract of the Gentiana olivieri Griseb plant was subjected to an investigation to ascertain the presence of its iridoid constituents. By means of HPLC and TLC monitoring, a total of thirteen previously unreported seco-iridoid glucosides olivierisecoside A-M, as well as seven known seco-iridoid glycosides and one known iridoid glycoside were isolated. Their structures were elucidated by a comprehensive spectroscopic data analysis and ECD calculations. The absolute configuration of olivierisecoside D was further confirmed through single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. All the identified compounds were characterized as aromatic conjugated seco-iridoid glucosides, with olivierisecoside F-I representing a particularly rare subtype known as the morroniside type seco-iridoids. In vitro testing of the isolated compounds revealed their potential anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective effects. The results showed olivieroside B and 6'-gentisoyl-8-epi-kingiside have good anti-inflammatory activities in LPS induced RAW264.7 cells. Photoelectrochemical (PEC) immunoassay has been widely developed for biomarker detection, but most include heavy and expensive instruments that are not suited for portable and on-site detection. In this work, the PEC immunoassay platform for mobile phones was reported for flexible, rapid, low-cost detection of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). The PEC detection platform was successfully composed of disposable screen-printed carbon electrodes, a micro-electrochemical workstation, a flashlight (the excitation light source), and a smartphone with a companion software with a micro-electrochemical workstation for rapid and on-site detection of target biomarkers. In this portable smartphone-based PEC system, the S-scheme heterojunction BiOCl/CuBi 2 O 4 was effectively excited due to the efficient electron transfer rate and excellent photocurrent response under visible light. Specifically, the sandwich-type immunoreaction for capturing target biomarkers introduced alkaline phosphatase (ALP) labeled gold nanoparticles (Au NPs). The addition of CEA increased the ascorbic acid (AA) content and enhanced the photocurrent. The proposed immunoassay presented a good linear with the logarithm of CEA concentrations range within 0.01-40 ng mL -1 , and the detection limit of 3.5 pg mL -1 (S/N = 3). Thalassemia is one of the most common monogenic diseases, which seriously affects human growth and development, cardiovascular system, liver, etc. There is currently no effective cure for this disease, making screening for thalassemia particularly important. Herein, a self-powered portable device with high sensitivity and specificity for efficiently screening of low-level thalassemia is developed which is enabled with AuNPs/MoS 2 @C hollow nanorods and triple nucleic acid amplification technologies. It is noteworthy that AuNPs/MoS 2 @C electrode shows the advantages of high electrocatalytic activity, fast carrier migration rate and large specific surface area, which can significantly improve the stability and output signal of the platform. Using high-efficiency tetrahedral DNA as the probe, the target CD122 gene associated with thalassemia triggers a catalytic hairpin assembly reaction to achieve CD122 recycling while providing binding sites for subsequent hybridization chain reaction, greatly improving the detection accuracy and sensitivity of the device. A reliable electrochemical/colorimetric dual-mode assay for CD122 is then established, with a linear response range of 0.0001-100 pM for target concentration and open circuit voltage, and the detection limit is 78.7 aM (S/N = 3); a linear range of 0.0001-10000 pM for CD122 level and RGB Blue value, with a detection limit as low as 58.5 aM (S/N = 3).
