Abstract

In this contribution a new structured heterogeneous chromium catalyst for the autoxidation of cyclohexane is presented. Nano-sized Cr(III) colloids, generated in situ, are immobilized via preparative column precipitation chromatography (CPC) onto a silica support. These new materials are shown to be selective and heterogeneous autoxidation catalysts.
