This chapter reviews the principles of conductivity imaging with an emphasis on clinical applications. We also present the methodology used to create tomographic images from the obtained measurements, showing that the backprojection method and the inverse generalized Radon transform method are effectively the same. The limitations and advantages of this type of imaging are discussed in addition to the various application areas beyond medical imaging.
