- Abstract
The unreasonable planning of block land use is the fundamental problem that affects the quality of city and the comfort and convenience of urban residents. In order to solve the above problems, this paper takes 18 residential blocks in Xi'an as an example, based on the related theories of street vitality and intensive land use, and through the investigation of the characteristic elements of street land use and the characterization elements of street vitality index, starting from the residents' own needs, reveals the restraint mechanism of residential block land use as a "supplier" to street vitality, analyzes the internal relationship between street vitality and residential block land use, and constructs the technical path and optimization method of intensive land use index optimization from the four aspects of index system establishment, model construction, index optimization evaluation and optimization strategy formulation, in order to stimulate street vitality and promote intensive land use on residential blocks.
