COVID 19 confinements changed our relationship with the computer: we use it more but not necessarilly better. In these times education, work, entertainment and art resort to social media, video streamming and online platforms. We believe that the current reflection on this Human Computer Interaction can gain from the experiments of cyberformance – the performance art the crosses physical and virtual environments – both at a theoritical level, through concepts like virtual reality or corporeality, and at an empirical level, previewing the creation of intermedial interfaces that develop our post-human condition in a more embodied, integrated and freer way. The Metaverse is considered the next evolution of the Internet for providing users with an immersive experience in a virtual world not seen before on the Internet. This new virtual experience will allow users to be part of a new reality that only exists through the screen of a device. Some examples of activities that emerged in the early days of the Internet and virtual reality could be considered sexual crimes against women. In order to protect potential victims and to promote the use of this new virtual experience among women, these criminal actions should be prosecuted under the Spanish Law. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This contribution stems from the exploratory study project of the first fashion week in the metaverse that was held from March 2022 on the Decentraland platform. In recent months many companies have understood the potential of the metaverse, not least the fashion industry, that has taken up the challenge by creating the first Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW). The purpose of this contribution is to carry out an exploratory study on MVFW through a netnographic analysis and provide a picture on the presence of fashion houses by identifying how digital is redefining fashion consumption.
