The article states that profit for U.S. farm equipment manufacturer Deere & Co. declined by 40 percent during its July 2015-ended fiscal third quarter. According to the article, Deere predicted on August 21, 2015, that farming cash receipts in the U.S. will decline by seven percent in 2015 and were likely to decline in 2016 due to lower crop prices and weaker foreign demand, which lessened demand for new farm equipment. The article presents comments from Deere director of investor relations Tony Huegel.
