Integrated environmental permits is a topical issue in many Europe countries such as Slovakia. An integrated system of prevention and control of pollution was recommended in the early '90s because of the recognition that regulation over the release of substances into one environmental medium (e.g. air, land, water, waste ) can result in shifting the substance to another medium. By industrial activities is then divided also the field of these activities. Integrated prevention and industrial pollution protection is a set of measures aimed at pollution prevention, reduction of emissions to air, water and soil, reduction of waste generation and at waste recovery and disposal in order to achieve a high level protection of the environment taken as a whole, whereas is focusing on industrial sphere. This paper deals with a proposal of assessment of hearing impairment risk from the point of view of long-term exposure to noise in a selected plant with engineering production. The measured results show that the normalized levels of noise exposure, extended by the uncertainty of measurement at the aforementioned workplaces, exceed the limits stipulated by the Slovak Government Decree No. 115/2006 Coll. of Laws, and it is evident that according to the Ordinance No. 448/2007 Coll. of Laws, all measured professions fall within the fourth category of work activities categorized according to the noise factor. The chapter presents the results of the original and applicative character obtained by the authors in mathematical theory of processes optimal control with the use of informatics. The authors have applied a modern approach to informatics while investigating the application of information technology to processes control. The chapter deals with the theory of systems, continuous and discrete tasks of dynamic optimization, modeling and models classification, mathematical models of complex systems. Via operator equations, the task of the optimal control of systems with distributed parameters has been defined. The designed algorithm has been applied to the solution of the problem of optimal control of a body heating process. In addition, there is included a brief characteristic of the algorithms designed by the authors based on different optimization methods for the numerical solution of the defined problems of processes optimal control with the use of PC. The aim of the paper is to present the basic concepts of advanced high strength dual phase steels for automotive applications, including the design of chemical composition, microstructure and mechanical properties development during thermo-mechanical processing as well as characterization production technology and the potential applications of in-service performance. Dual-phase steel sheets have very good ability of absorption of kinetic energy on impact and higher strength properties. Average person spends about one third of day at work. During working hours in industrial workplaces, workers can be exposed to possible heat and cold risks. A significant thermo-humidity microclimate in such workplaces is created by technological equipment. Thermo-hygric microclimate evaluation in workplaces is therefore very important and obtained results should lead to reduction of thermal loads on workers. The need of quick thermal environment assessment based on a few measurements and calculations has led into application of indices in thermal comfort assessment. The most used empirical index for assessment of hot stress potential is WBGT index (wet bulb globe temperature). WBGT index is the most used and accepted index for the assessment of heat stress in industry. The chapter deals with the investigation of nonlinear systems stability, a characteristic exponent and asymptotic stability. It also deals with the Lyapunov transformation to carry out a linear system whose matrix elements are functions of a system with a constant matrix. Microclimatic parameters are important factors in the physical environment which significantly affect the conditions of the working environment. These microclimatic parameters significantly affect the welfare of working people; define their subjective perception of well-being or discomfort. In case of extreme values, those can be perceived as harmful or adverse effects on human health. The chapter deals with the issues of an approximation of the solution to the problem of optimal control of a distributed parameter process. A mathematical model of the problem is expressed by a two-dimensional partial differential equation of heat transfer with boundary and initial conditions and an optimality selected criterion. In order to obtain an approximated solution to the defined problem, the least squares method has been applied, thereby it has been proved that the obtained solution is the approximation of the Green's function, eventually that of an impulse transition function. The possibility of the application of the least squares method algorithm to the solution of the mathematical model of a distributed parameter process control has also been indicated. Paper presents study results of localised deformation, described by FLC, at different deformation schemes. FLC are used for fracture prediction at crash and formability tests in automotive industry. In experiments were used two types of steel sheets: hot deep galvanized steel sheet DX54D and austenitic stainless steel DIN 1.4301. Limit localised deformations were researched by experimental tests using CCD video camera recording and numerical simulation. Deformation schemes were modelled on tensile test specimens by different notch radii (R5, R10, R17.5, R25). Reached forming limit curves from experiment and simulation were compared. The contribution presents defined problems of a control of nonlinear systems, processes with constraints and limitations. Optimality conditions for a control and iterative gradient methods of nonlinear systems optimization have been given . The defined problem with the Lagrangian criterion function is converted to an optimization problem of the theory of games. In order to solve such a problem, the search for a saddle point of a functional, an algorithm of an iterative method has been designed. There are also presented algorithms designed based on gradient methods (e.g. Generalized Method of Reduced Gradient) using the projection principles to solve mathematical models of the tasks of processes optimal control, where constraining conditions and limitations to state and control variables of the process are fulfilled.
