The article evaluates the NT650 and NT651 power packs from HBM.

This article reports that HBM has introduced both standard and stainless steel versions of its junction boxes for interconnecting up to eight strain gage load test cells. The junction box is fitted with an integral resistor network enabling the unit to support the company's corner load adjustment in a scale. HBM claims users can now achieve perfect results in three simple steps: first note the value of the load scale corners, then determine the correction value from the accompanying diagram and finally activate the adjustment resistor. Its junction boxes also feature metric M12 EMC cable glands for cable diameters of four to 6.5 millimeters and two M16 electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) glands for cable diameters of five to nine millimeters. The glands use the screening design of HBM and are 100 percent EMC-proof according to EN 45501.
