Abstract

The article proposes that professional development schools should be a partnership involving university, schools and school districts, and the community. It further proposes that communities view schools from an asset perspective. It calls for a real sense of partnership in problem solving and structure development. The partnership would be part of student learning through inquiry focused on strategic problem of practice goal.
