Abstract

The article presents a case study of an 80-year-old woman who presented with a thyroid nodule in her neck. It says that the woman has been diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma 12 years earlier and was treated with radical nephrectomy and lymph node dissection. It states that the thyroid nodule were positive for CD10 and renal cell carcinoma antibody. The article discusses the occurrence of metastases years after surgical intervention.
