The development of modern transportation systems and urbanization has promoted regional co-urbanization and promoted the continuous growth of demand for suburban and inter-city passenger transportation. As the most important part of the national highway network, expressways are not only the active line of social and economic development, but also play an important role in long-distance passenger transportation. In order to study the problem of public transportation service in expressway long-distance passenger transportation, a long-distance passenger transit service optimization model based on expressways was established, and the Dijkstra algorithm was used to solve the model. The research results show that by using the model and algorithm constructed, the optimal solution under different demand states can be obtained, and the path with the highest service efficiency can be found. This research can provide theoretical support for the improvement of long-distance passenger transport services. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
